During dinner that night:
Minseok looks for Chen and finds him just when he is about to go out in the garden to join Baekhyun.
“Chen.. Wait. I still need to hack my Dad’s computer.”
“Why now? Just ask him for the money. Everything is settled now so don’t start again.”
“What about you? Your money for the restaurant renovation.”
“I will manage. Don’t worry.”
Minseok pulls Chen close and hugs him tightly. “Thanks for everything.”
“It’s alright.” Chen pats his back but Minseok snuggles closer. At that moment both feel a spark between them but Chen pulls away.
“You still don’t have the money. Baekhyun will leave you.”
“He’s not that bad. I am going to open up and tell him everything. He might get mad but I know him. He will definitely forgive me.”
Chen goes out and meets Baekhyun. He pulls him close.
“I have something to tell you.”
“Honey I have been watching you. You have been coming with different excuses about the restaurant funds. I will not hesitate to leave you at the altar.”
Chen’s face changes. “ I have the money. In fact I have just deposited the check.”
“Thank god. Finally.” Baekhyun smiles and kisses his cheeks.
The next two days:
Chen misses Minseok a lot. Talking to Baekhyun he gets to know all is well between the brothers and their family. Chen feels happy for Minseok. He finally found his place with his family but it’s going to be difficult for him. How is he going to face him while being married to his brother? Chen is struggling not knowing how to handle his feelings.
The night before the wedding:
Minseok calls Chen and asks him to meet urgently. When Chen rushes over, Minseok hugs him tightly.
“I have thought about this. We don’t have any other option but to elope.”
Chen pushes him away. “Are you mad? I cannot betray Baekhyun. He is your brother for Christ’s sake.”
“Oh but you can betray yourself?”
“What? I have known you for what 10 to 15 days. I have known him for more than 5 years. I can’t end that relationship just like that.”
“What kind of commitment is this? You don’t love Baekhyun. He finds a flimsy reason to break up with you at a drop of a hat. We love each other but you still want to marry him? Does it make sense to you?” Minseok pleads.
“Minseok don’t try to confuse me. Just go back. Go back to China. Forget me.” Chen leaves.
When he returns home, he is greeted by Yixing and Sehun with good news.
“Mr. Lee has decided to invest in your restaurant. Here is the advance amount. We can not only renovate our old restaurant but also open a second one soon.”
Chen should feel happy but he is not.
The wedding day:
Baekhyun wanted a simple wedding but a grand reception so they decide to have wedding ceremony at Baekhyun’s house and the reception at a 5 star hotel nearby.
Chen gets ready with a heavy heart. He tries to reach Minseok but is unable to. Meanwhile Minseok confesses everything to his father and leaves for China. Before leaving, he goes to Baekhyun’s bedroom to wish him. Seeing him getting ready happily, Minseok just leaves Baekhyun’s phone on a bedside table and leaves. Just before he leaves, Baekhyun looks around the room one last time and sees the phone which he had given to Minseok to use. Out of curiosity, Baekhyun checks it only to find messages and phone calls between him and Chen. Baekhyun understands. He asks Mark to bring Chen to his room.
When Chen reaches their house with the wedding party, uncle YunHo along with family members meet and greet him. While hugging Chen, uncle YunHo whispers that Minseok has left for China into Chen’s ears. Just then Mark finds and pulls him over to Baekhyun’s room.
“Do you remember what you told me a fortnight ago?” asks Baekhyun.
“Here is the cheque Minseok.”
“I am Baekhyun. Remember?” Baekhyun cries. “Do you still love me? All these years we have been fighting and adjusting to be together. Doesn’t mean we can be able to live like that for the rest of our lives. After we wed today, let me remind you it will not be a break up but a divorce. I always kept breaking up with you because I knew end of the day you weren’t going anywhere. You were always perfect for me. I am sorry I haven’t told you that before. I think I am not the right one for you.”
“If I break up with you right now, will you stop me? come after me?” asks Chen.
“What do you want me to do?” asks Baekhyun.
“What do you want?”
“Just leave. Don’t make me break up with you again. Please leave.”
Baekhyun starts crying. Uncle YunHo walks in and hugs him.
“Uncle”
“Dad”
Baekhyun and Chen call him in unison.
“Leave Chen. Catch him before his flight leaves. I know everything.” Uncle YunHo smiles at Chen for the first time. “I can handle everything.”
“Excuse me. Say we can handle everything. After all he is my son.” Uncle Siwon walks in and hugs Chen.
“You are an idiot. Now run before Minseok flies away forever.”
Chen kisses his father and runs out of the room and out of the house. Just when he tries to find a key to his car from the valet, he sees Minseok.
“I asked you to run away with me. Are you still willing to?” Minseok is tears eyed.
Chen rushes towards him and kisses Minseok passionately. Minseok kisses him back.
