Upon hearing of the Collab update, Downbeat felt uneasy over copyright infringement. And so he decided to go with actual AI doubles of Le Serrafim, him preparing copyright-free versions in case things went south.
- To mix it up, he decided that his mod's version of the girl group would sing in traditional FNF style to keep copyright at bay.
- And he settled with giving the collab a full week rather than one song. The only issue is which other Le Serrafim songs he'd use as well with Spaghetti as the third.
- Additionally, he decided not just to scan all 5 members of Le Serrafim and J-Hope, but also the rest of BTS as well to add further.
- Given the above, the week itself is unfinished and inaccessible normally, but if input well, the version of Spaghetti he planned out is playable and complete. It just happens that the idols' AI are unfinished and buggy due to the replication of the real ones not being done yet, causing their sprites to glitch out.
- If dug through further, both the original Spaghetti and its FNF vanilla version are still in the files. Trying to play them bugs out the AI further and risks crashing the game. The copyright-free versions can also be found, but are even more of a glitchy mess and will definitely crash the mod.
Speaking of, this made Downbeat develop a taste for K-Pop, where he pretty much listens to it while he creates new assets, which in turn made him add Korean language support for his mod. Bonnie and Giles were the first to be confused when they suddenly started speaking it fluently. This also updated the assets to carry over the Collab 1 changes done to BF and GF to the entire game as well as the voices of the actual BF and GF to match the cutscene.
Along the way, on Pico Day, Valerie Belais, top student of the university, was in a bit of a haze after studying and being asked to aid in the search of Bonnie and Giles. Seeing a copy of FNF made her smile due to liking the style. When she got sucked in, Downbeat was not expecting a new player on his game's holiday, much less what kind of vessel is for the day. In the end, he settled for the Newgrounds Girl.
Headcanons:
- Age 20, somewhat tanned skin, brown wavy hair
- Upon seeing her new form, Valerie freaked out over how scantily-clothed she was. She's pretty much very prim and proper over her form.
- Aside from that, she's also an eagle-eyed spotter, letting her see clearly and recall details in a very accurate way.
- The one quality she shares with the NG Girl is that she aspired to be a graphic designer once, her inspired by the Flash games of the 2000s. Ironically, she does not like the violent 2000s Flash games.
- Upon meeting the Twosome, she was trapped in the confusion on how Bonnie is in the body of a boy and Giles in the body of a girl.
- She initially rationalized her being in the game as a dream, until she tried waking up, in which she accepted her new reality.
- She's a big fan of Danny Droop, so once she learned, she loathed Morgana.
- She's a huge stickler for the rules, meaning she busted Cindy, Plitvice, and Patrick multiple times. This also makes her a really strict babysitter.
And speaking of NG Day, here are a few things done to celebrate:
- Bonnie and Giles sing out with BF and GF on great hits from each era.
- Philip, Derek, Nina, and Olly try to understand the characters they play as by watching Pico stuff.
- Joseph and his crew really get into the day by decorating the streets, using the tank to deliver merchandise, and even set up a theater to watch various Newgrounds animations with an arcade for the games.
- Spike and Point begin preparing for Halloween.
- Sera and co. write critiques on a random dating sim from NG.
- Frank, Crystal, and the Bros. go on a trip across digital Nevada, roleplaying.
- The Devious Duo deface the Tank Crew's stuff.
- Cindy tries to make herself scary but gets shot down again and again.
- Minos works on the new PSA, makes sure that Morko isn't around in a 20-foot radius.
- The Hexengee party all night long.
- Neil and the Experiments take a break for once. Same goes with Moloch and Gregor.
- Danny is still in the void, but smiles knowing that Valerie is trying to promote his music and words.
- Downbeat and Morgana simply sit around to admire the world made.
- Riley hangs around with a newfound friend formed from the linkage between this FNF mod and NG Rumble..
