Chapter Text
Lomedy thinks of himself as someone who enjoys peace and farming. He loved the way the sun kisses his skin whenever he tends to his crops, how his back would hurt whenever he hoes the ground, how fresh his food would taste after every harvest.
Thus, it's safe to say that he is a pacifist. He never liked fighting, in fact, he find people who constantly fight troublesome. Like, how do they enjoy hurting other people?
As someone who hates fighting, Lomedy was so surprise how he manage to befriend Flamefrags, the immortal demon himself. Someone who find joy in battles specifically with a certain mace holder.
Lomedy sat by the dining table, looking as if he was trying to keep himself together as Flame yap about his internal battles.
As the blaze demon's closest and only friend, he is happy that the man finally came to admit his long suppressed feelings, but he is also very annoyed about how much Flame has been yapping.
It has been two hours since he arrived at Flame's house to reprimand him about the massive battle he and Wemmbu had against a literal thousand army of LAW.
Yet he didn't even get to scold his friend, the guy immediately yapped about his messy love life and how confused he is about what he should do.
"Flame, I get it. You're down bad for Wemmbu, but have you ever considered to stop and breathe for a moment? I'm pretty sure the feeling's mutual so you should chill out first. Don't let me get started with you fight against the LAW, that was reckless, you killed a thousand people for goodness sake!"
This time, it was Lomedy who was yapping. He went full parent mode on Flame and all the man could do was sit and think about his actions and Wemmbu.
If anyone witnessed this they would probably not believe their eyes. The Immortal demon sitting guiltily while his best friend scolded him, what a sight to see.
In the depths of the stronghold, a silhouette discretely covered in full enchanted netherite armor filled the empty frames with eyes of ender announcing the opening of a new end portal. Loud thunder echoed across the server.
The figure stepped inside and was greeted by obsidian floor, deepslate walls, and a slight opening between six ancient debris. There were dispensers on each center of the walls containing wind charges.
Standing by the other side of the gap was MinuteTech, the Guardian of the End. He is wearing a full enchanted Netherite armor and is holding a shield and a mace.
"What is your business here?" He asked, voice laced with authority.
The figure shifted, gently taking the veil off their head revealing a young face of a teenage girl. Tanned skin, long and silky purple hair, and a mismatched eyes that reflected the fire. She mischievously smirked before she spoke.
"How's it going, grandpa Minute"
That single sentence alone caused the man's brain to short circuit. What do you mean grandpa? does he look like an old dude to her? He doesn't even have a child let alone grandchild.
Wemmbu and Egg are a different case, he basically adopted them. But come on! they're not that old enough to have a teenage child!
"I don't know what you're on here, but I am not in the mood to entertain any jokes. If you don't have any important business here then I shall escort you out the End"
Minute opened the contraption and was about to grab her wrist when she pull up her arms defensively.
"Woah woah! calm down grandpa Minute, I'm not kidding! I am your grand daughter!"
She firmly replied, eyes showing a stubborn glint that Minute found quite familiar. He couldn't help but cross his arms and raise his eyebrow, gesturing her to explain.
"Look, I know this may seem crazy, but I am not from this timeline. My name is Ember daughter of your son. I came from the future through a complicated redstone machine in the farlands which took me to this timeline. You might not believe me, but it's true"
Minute couldn't comprehend what he just heard. A granddaughter? Out of nowhere? Did he mishear that or did she really say she's his granddaughter? How was that even possible?
"Who are your parents then?"
The man recovered from his earlier shock and began questioning her again. Ember was smiling but she sweat dropped, clearly used to being scolded.
"Wemmbu.... "
Minute had kind of predicted that a little. The girl literally had purple hair and Wemmbu's attitude. But the other parent though, he's curious but at the same time he had someone in mind already.
".....and Flamefrags"
Yep. He definitely expected that already. With those eyes that literally emit flames, like lava.
The void demon could only sigh before accepting the reality in front of him. Besides, Egg can just detect if the girl is lying or not.
"Follow me"
He turned around leading the girl out, Ember skipped behind him as she scanned the surrounding as if trying to map out the area, just like Flamefrags.
"So what timeline is this? I didn't really get any information when I arrived since I rushed to the End to see you. Where's Mom and Dad? This place haven't changed one bit"
The child yapped behind him to which he blatantly ignored. That's definitely Wemmbu's own flesh and blood. She's got a mix of both Wemmbu and Flame's appearance and personality.
They passed by the hallway with large doors, some lead to a storage area, meeting room, a world map of the overworld and the end, and soon, the library.
Sitting proudly on the center of the circular table was Eggchan, Wemmbu's most trusted and loyal best friend.
His two sets of white head wings delicately framed his baby face, his skin is porcelain, wearing his signature suit and a pink tie. He was silently writing on his lore book as the two entered the room.
Ember's eyes lit up at the sight of the angel hybrid, she ran enthusiastically towards Eggchan which had startled Minute.
"Uncle Egg!"
The white haired male raised his head in confusion only to see a purple blur charging towards him. Sensing no I'll intent, he let the person crash in his chest allowing Ember to squeeze him into a tight hug.
"You're so short Uncle Egg, you're usually a head taller than me! Now we're on the same level!"
Ember giggled measuring the Angel's height and comparing it to hers. Egg just stared at her quietly.
Purple hair, fiery eyes, dark skin, boisterous and loud personality. His brain is literally working in full capacity as he tries to uncover why the girl is calling him Uncle.
"I'm telling you Wemmbu, if you just reveal Flamefrags' location this will end right now"
In the depths of the LAW prison, passing by the long and dark hallways, was a secluded area specifically built to contain one singular person.
Restrained by countless chains and arms spread on both sides, Wemmbu leaned by the wall behind him. His head hung low as he panted, legs barely holding his weight, and his clothes stained in both grime and dried blood.
In front of him stood LettuceK, leader of the LAW and self proclaimed King of Unstable. Behind him were Deputy Ace and Lopezz who are both cringing at the sounds of the whip slashing across Wemmbu's body.
Despite the pain and exhaustion, Wemmbu slowly raise his head showing a mocking smile, eyes glinting with pure stubbornness and spite.
"There's no way..... in h-hell that I'll t-tell you anything.... you rabid c-cat"
His voice was shaky but his words were laced with a mocking tone that insulted every core of Lettuce's body. The caracal's eye twitched grip clenching around the handle of the whip, he raised his hand and started whipping Wemmbu again.
Lopezz could only look away closing her eyes and tried to tune out the sounds of whip strikes. Deputy Ace look down with a complicated expression, as if he was having an internal battle about his decisions.
A few minutes passed, Lettuce stopped, seeing Wemmbu's limp body completely passed out. He threw away the whip and turned to walk out the cell removing his gloves.
"Heal him up and change him in prisoner's clothes, I want him working by tomorrow by the mines as the rest of the prisoners.
With that final order, Lettuce completely disappeared from the hallways. Deputy Ace was the one who released all the chains from Wemmbu's body.
He was careful in handling the Ender demon as he lifted him up in a bridal carry. Lopezz followed close behind and assisted him while they bathed Wemmbu and dressed him in the orange jumpsuit as other prisoners wore before moving him to his new cell closer to the main prison.
By the time Wemmbu woke up, he was completely healed, no traces of slashes left in his skin, must be the work of a regeneration potion.
He was forced to work to the mines like the other prisoners. Surprisingly, he came across an unpleasant face, Zam, who seemed to be very remorseful about their history. Personally, Wemmbu no longer hold any grudge against Zam, he just pisses him off so he chose to ignore the man.
He was held in that prison for more than 3 month with no progress of escaping. His belly is slowly being noticably bigger each month and he's worried about every little movement he makes that might harm the child in him.
All he needs is an opportunity to escape and find his way back to the end to gear up and come back for revenge. And that opportunity came in the form of a Void Demon, Spoke.
