Chapter Text
“Mmm… where am I..?” Natsusawa Saku stirs awake and sees himself at the dining table, with a blanket over him. He looked at the time. An hour more before he needs to depart for work.
“I don’t remember having a blanket….” He mutters to himself. But through intelligent guesses, he realised that Subaru must’ve came down and put it over him, which he blushed at the thought of her putting it over him. Feeling regret that he did not cuddle with her last night, he decided to make up by making a good breakfast. Before that, he went up and took a shower. Next, he went to the kitchen, and started making coffee and wondered what they should have for breakfast. He opened the fridge, and saw some leftover donuts. “Perfect…” he thought. He took it out, and then left it on the table, before departing for work. “Oh…” he suddenly remembered today Subaru will also have a long, tiring day, so he went up, and went into their bedroom. Lying there was Subaru, wrapped in her covers, protecting her from the air conditioning. He went up, ruffled her silver hair a little, and kissed her cheek, before leaving for work. Little did he know, she was already awake. She was very ready and blushing like a tomato. She really wanted to talk to him before he left, as the last time they talked was yesterday at dinner time. This, she decided to get out of bed and at least talk to him. “Saku Natsusawa!” She shouted just before he left. Startled, he immediately turned back, and saw her. “Su…Subaru… Good morning. I’ve prepared breakfast. It’s the donuts from last week. And uh.. I’ve got to run, see you later.” “Wa…wait!” She shouted. “Aren’t you forgetting something?” She asked. He stood there, checking his bag. “No…nothing is missing. Wh..” Before he finished she went up and kissed his lips. He was surprised, but didn’t pull away, but kissed back even more. “Now do you remember?” She asked, mocking mad. “So..sorry Subaru, I should’ve remembered.” He said “Come back early alright?”she said. “I’ll make dinner.” “Will do.” He finally went out the front door, and waved back before leaving. “Idiot….” She muttered, and went to have her breakfast, with coffee and donuts.
