Chapter Text
Meanwhile with Asgore...
He remembered Gaster was here but did he leave? He thought to himself but he didn't remember Gaster leaving so he began to look around. He saw the backdoor to his shop was slightly askew and he wondered if Gaster went to the back room of the shop. He walked over and peered into the dark room and turned on the lights. And there was nothing Gaster wasn't there and the flowers weren't disturbed so he assumed Gaster left and he just didn't notice him leaving. So he got the key and locked the back door and went back out to be in his flower shop.
But poor gaster was there trapped in the back he hid behind the desk holding these colorful flowers. Now he was left in pure darkness alone, he was always afraid of the dark. But then he stood up and saw the flowers glowing a faint but prominent glow. They seemed to be almost whispering. 'what no that was impossible!' Gaster thought as he stood frozen in place with no idea what do. He wondered was he finally losing it. He stepped closer to hear them and it came out like this...
"Please... Save us," said the green flower.
"Show everyone the truth," said the purple one.
"Somethings wrong," said the yellow one.
The others were too quiet to hear even in the silent space, but one of the flower spoke the loudest.
"Save Asgore, save the king, save your lover. Make a dark fountain," said the yellow flower.
Gaster immediately sensed this flower was different from the other flowers. It almost sounded like temptation then again he was listening to talking flowers. He stopped why did it say asgore was his lover? What the hell. It didn't glow it's yellow color it glowed almost every other color and white. It was very dim but he couldn't tell it was every different. He felt mesmerized and then he couldn't control his own body and he grabbed a knife from the counter. Then before he knew it the knife went down.
Darkness that seemed darker and darker and yet darker until he was now in a room big room full of flowers and a single thrown in the middle. He was in different clothes a white lab coat and a black turtle neck. He felt weirder he heard birds chirping and a memory of smaller child like Kris but not.
Meanwhile with Kris and Susie...
Kris suddenly got up and started running to the flower shop and Susie followed she sensed something was wrong. As soon as they got to the flower show they saw what was inside. The door to the flower shop was slightly ajar and black smoke rose out of it. Susie looked over at Kris.
"Kris that damn knight... Wait is your dad in there!" Susie knew Asgore he was kind and a bit bad at understanding boundaries but he was a kind man.
Before Kris could react Susie opened the door smoke flooding out and into there faces. Without warning Susie grabbed Kris wrist and hopped in. They were in there dark world forms and they started to fall and fall. Pictures flashed through there mind saying of a old tale.
Long ago far away century before your day humans and monsters roamed and were all at peace.
But one day humans had enough and peace came undone.
Humans fought and monsters lost and they were sealed away
Now here they stay in the dark all alone there pain and resentment only grows.
Day by day there hopes slowly fade as they remain in there place all alone.
All they knew was resentment and now it's all up to you to fix the pain.
Susie didn't listen to the tale seeing it as unimportant as they fell farther and farther into the dark. Kris soul ached like it recognized this tale but it was changed. The last thing the two kids saw was yellow before they hit the ground.
