Toshinori Yagi looked down at the kitchen table. It had been four months since Izuku’s disappearance, and the Yagi family’s lives had completely fallen apart.
Their daughter, Izumi, had been forced to transfer to another school after what happened at Aldera. In the end, they had no choice but to homeschool her because no school was willing to accept her so late into the year—especially after her role in the bullying scandal became public.
On top of that, both All Might and Inko had their hero pay reduced by ninety percent and were ordered by Nezu to attend mandatory family therapy for failing to notice how badly their son had been suffering for so long.
The sound of footsteps pulled Toshinori from his thoughts as Inko walked into the room.
“Honey,” she said quietly.
“Yes?” he replied.
“It’s Izumi,” she began nervously.
His stomach dropped. “What did she do now?”
Inko hesitated before answering. “She was caught using her Quirk on another student… trying to ‘put him in his place,’ according to the report.”
Toshinori instantly buffed into his muscular form in shock.
“She what?!” he shouted, horror and anger filling his voice.
Inko flinched. “Mitsuki is interrogating her right now.”
“Let’s go,” he said immediately.
Izumi sat stiffly in her chair, her hands trembling slightly in her lap.
She didn’t understand what she had done wrong.
All she did was put someone in their place. The boy actually thought he could become a hero with a Quirk like that. A Quirk that could create things from shadows. Who would ever want a hero with a creepy Quirk like that?
No one would.
At least… that was what she had always believed.
The door suddenly opened.
Her parents walked in, both wearing expressions filled with disappointment and anger.
Izumi gulped.
She knew immediately that she was in serious trouble.
