And she couldnt beleive it she couldnt beleive theyd acctually think so low of her as to snitch in their secrets had she not been loyal the whole time she knew them she was THE MOST and to top it off they beleived the twisted it in some evil manical way to paint a disgusting rumor about ayaka- wait what was the rumor ?"ho- hold on whats the rumor then ?"
midori raised her voice "for fucks sake are you going to make us explain every-" Natsuki cut off "YES BECAUSE AGAIN I DIDNT SPREAD ANYTHING U WITCHES" Ayaka gets offended "UGH" is the last sound she makes before quickly sliding the knife down Natsukis neck , she screamed but was quickly muffled by midori who then continued "how are you going to pretend you took part in none of this when we 4 are the only ones that know ! you really are a peice of work Natsuki"
Natsuki took quite abit to get over the cut she just endured , retaliating "i TOLD YALL in the text i had nothing agaisnt you ! i wanted to go out peacefully just WHY ON EARTH would i take any pleasure in wastin my breath on ur secrets"
Ayaka had enough she had enough of all this if Natsuki wasnt going to apologize then she was going to make her wish she did , grabbing the much shorter girl by the collar bringing her high Natsukis toes were barely scraping the ground Ayaka cocked her fist back ready to go before-

the group turns around to see whos caught them in the act only to be shocked by the sight that the deep voice belonged to shy purple haired yuri the same girl whos too scared to ask to the cook behind the counter for a spoon at the cafeteria was standing there quite confidently much braver than usual yuri at school or before the club atleast
Ayaka snickered to Natsuki "this is ur little book club friend that u left us for ? what a downgrade" "i said let her go" Yuris voice got deeper While Ayakas interest in Yuris sudden confidence peaks " and what are you going to do about it" she sais interested in Yuris answer , "you seem like a nice girl...?" as if asking for her name and she responds "Yuri." Ayaka continues "Yuri , so i think you should stay out of this , wouldnt want to get hurt over bratty little Natsuki over here" tightening her grip on Natsukis collar getting her to wince at the bruise on her neck and her ego , god if she could she'd strangle them right there
"i couldnt help but over hear you saying she spread rumors about you ? how aee you so sure it was her ?" Ayaka retorted "Because she lef-" Yuri cuts her off sharply "yes but how do you Know it was Natsuki ? what proof do you have to go hurting her this way with out knowing 100% it was her" though the sentence leaves all 3 of the girls stumped none of them would dare show it on there face
Ayaka wont lose though no way "we know because of Logic , who else outside of our group knows my secret ? and whos the one person that left the group so suddenly cutting us off ? , we have enough proof to decide its so obviously Natsuki" Yuri stated "need i remind you school counselers and principals are usually informed of these kind of family situations it isnt , conversations in the staff room arent exactly impossible to over hear it could have been anyone"
midori seems convinced enough and yuna started to hesitate aswell Ayaka on the other hand wasnt one to back down feeling quite neraged at her friends suggestions "Ayaka m-maybe we should just go w-weve hurt her enough" "y-yeh she learnt her lesson r-right ?" Ayaka snapped "NO ! WEVE COME ALL THIS WAY WE CANT JUST BACK OUT NOW"
Yuri added "itd be a shame to find out this place had cameras installed in their valleys" Ayakas rage multipled by a hundred "Wh-Whatever , this isnt over yet Natsuki ! come on girls lets go" she hissed with fury , harshly letting go of Natsuki shoving her to the ground , deliberatley pushing yuri with her shoulder as she walked away , Yuri kept herself in check just until they were completley out of sight immedatley she let a shaky breath escape dropping towards Natsuki who had already started to panic
"oh dear the bleeding hasn't stopped are you okay ? wh-where'd they hurt you ?" Yuri waited for an answer that would never come because instead she was met with shaky breaths and unfocused eyes "N-natsuki ?" Yuri realized her friend was having a panic attack but comforting her out of it was quite hard when she herself was finding hard to stay calm too
"H-how did they find me ?!?i-i never-" but she couldnt finish her sentences properly without random gasps taking over trying hard to breathe , Yuri stammered "th-theyre gone now , youre okay"
"N-no im not !" Natsuki found it harder to breathe by the second "this was suppised to be a stupid hangout b-but they know" she took a deep hitched breath "if they knew where i was today w-what if they-" she stopped with a shaky gasp
Yuri's eyes widened at the realization she reached for Natsukis hands "Natsuki please t-try to slow your breathing a little" Natsuki shook her head she panicked harder "Y-yuri i cant breathe" "No N-natsuki you can youre having a panic attack just l-listen to me , alright ?" "I- I CANT" "yes you can j-just follow my breathing" While Yuris breathing wasnt too perfect either but she could try
after a few slow shaky breaths Natsukis breathing started to stable abit and Yuris too
Natsuki swallowed hard finally being able to take a breath on her own calming down until the embaressment of being seen so vulnerable slamming into her like a bus z god she just couldnt catch a break could she
she turned her red face away in embarressment but Yuri decided otherwise "turn this side Natsuki ill need to bandage it "itll be fine" "what ? not it wont its still seeping our blood now is not the appropriate time to be stubborn" she turned her head back anyway , pink hair covering her embarresed expression , Yuri took out bandages from her bag and a disinfectent for the cut
trying to change the subject away from her vulnerablity Natsuki asked Yuri "why do you randomly carry bandages and a disinfectant around wherever you go ri ?" "i like to be prepared" after a moment of thinking Yuri murmered "i like to be prepared" hoping the lie would suffice , thankgoodness the universe was on her side this tike as Nastuki didnt suspect a thing "Tch , typical Yuri stuff i guess" though she wouldnt be so lucky next time
"raise your head" Natsuki complied "this should sting a little , okay ?" she genly dabbed the disinfectant onto the cut warranting an instant "AH FUCK !" from Natsuki who was hissing at the pain "sorry , it should ease after a couple of minutes"
while she helped Natsuki with the bandages she looked up curious of her current expression thought Natsuki realized and turned her head "D-dont look at me like that" typical Natsuki too stubborn to show a single emotion but Yuri could feel the negative feelings radiating off Natsuki , it wouldnt take anyone long enough to understand why she was feeling this way aside from the fact she was still in pain but rather the aspect of being seen so helpless
"ive never seen you so confident before Yuri when were you gon tell us about this confident side of urs" she teased with a toothy grin , Yuri muttered "i wasnt confident , i was terrified" not taking her eyes off the bandage she was securing "my legs were shaking so bad i could barely stand properly" Natsuki mused "really ? couldve fooled me"
"perhaps when i saw the situation upfront i just stopped caring about how i frightened i was" she adjusted Natsukis head to get the bandage around "and i recalled a promise i made to you not too long ago" "whats that ?

"Natsuki , if anyone even thinks to cause u harm"
"... i will unleash hell upon them"
Natsuki snorts in laughter
"d-dont laught at me !"
Natsuki turns around "Ahahah- sorry i was just... i liked that"

"i dont think we should return to the bookstore as of today"
Natsuki snorted "yeah no kidding" Yuri got up and extended her arm to Natsuki to help her up
"...would you maybe like to come over to my house instead ? i-if you feel comterbale i mean-"
Natsuki quipped"only if youre making tea"
and Yuri giggled "i think i can manage that"
