Chapter Text
The three took a stroll back to their home, which was just a mix of abandoned tents and ones made from scratch, made with wood sticks, leaves, and leftover glass shards. This time, it actually felt way more shorter than going to the lab.
When they arrived at the tent, 4 had found more expired snacks from the lab canteen. 'Let's snack on, you guys!' 4 said while proudly showed the collection of expired snacks. There was so much to choose, but since Toilet isn't well.. a Meeple device, he will get poisoned. Chips, more cookies and biscuits, and crackers covered the crackling fire, which has been started by 4.
'I guess we just chat and ramble about.' 3GS said. They did talk about another topic, which was the show and what had happened, but it felt more of a random reflection worksheet you would get at the end of school. However, Toilet felt something off.
He felt.. Uncomfortable when someone called him 'he' or 'him', surely it should wear off soon, but it never did. By the time 4 started talking, Toilet was in a ramble of thoughts, about the paper, and the undiscovered memories that still linger in his mind. He felt like he wanted to dig up a hole and fall endlessly inside it. Just as he wanted to admit his feelings, 4 interrupted him.
'Toilet, your turn!' 4 had cheered. He was clearly too whimsical and silly to reply or comment about Toilet's situation. Toilet was slightly shaken from the cheering, feeling a bit sick of the adventure. 'I think I need some time, no thanks.' Toilet replied, hoping it was a safe answer. 'Oh-Ok!' 4 said, with no problems at all. Toilet rushed back to one of the tents, wanting to cry yet again, scared of what the other two would think, he huddled into a small blanket, hoping for no reply from 4 or 3GS.
Toilet heard footsteps from outside, knowing that they would come to the tent, he tried to make a run for it, only to get caught by the two. 'Could I uhm.. Follow you?' 4 questioned 'Okay, but don't tell anyone about the rambling and gossips, okay?' Toilet replied. Soon after that, 4 was lead to a meadow wth roses, one pale rose caught his eye. 'So, what's wrong? It's okay if you don't want to tell me, but I just want to know.' 4 questioned again.
'In, that lab, when u and 3GS were searching around and eatin all of those snacks, I found this uhh room. I decided to go in and.. uh-' Toilet replied. After that, Toilet didn't want to repeat or extend the small story. 'I just feel weird being called a boy and being made one, okay?' Toilet replied once again, slightly embarrased and sounding a bit mad.
'Oh.'
'If that's the case, then..'
4 pulled out a notebook writing their name inside, right next to them stood the pronouns 'they/them'
'Toilet They/Them pls!' was written inside.
They went back, 4 had said it to 3GS, who was quite suprised after hearing the news.
'Thank you Mistah- I mean uhm.. MePhone4?' Toilet thanked 4.
'You learned pretty quickly, didn't you?' 4 replied.
They finally chose who they finally were.
