"Who are you?"
The person says. You were scared to even speak.Your mom never told you what to do in this situation. Well because she never know if you be in this situation. So you just stand there, too scared to even speak.
"I ask you a question" the person says "answer it." The person says, there's was a hint of anger in his voice.
You gulp and you say "I- I'm Reader Cookie" you say nervously. "I d- don't mean no harm, I j- just heard a noise so I decided to see what it is and I found you" you say, hoping that they won't see you as a threat or they attack you.
Their eyes narrowed at you. "And you look hurt, I can help you?" You say. They were silent for 1 minute until they spoke again
"Why do you want to even help me? Do you know who I am?"
"No" you say, tilting your head. "Am I supposed to know?" You say, confused. They laugh which made you even more confused. You saw that their left leg is bleeding, but it looks like they don't notice.
"Now leave before I-" You pick them up and start to walk to your village. They were surprised but a little bit mad.
"Let. Me. Go" but you didn't let them go, you walk as they threaten to kill you if you don't let them go, which made you even scared but you need to help people, even if they threaten you. Their Golden orbs follow the both of you.
You continue walking, you were trying to act like you didn't have a wound on your leg. You bit your lip so you won't wince in pain as you walk. you saw your village. You place them on the bench and said "Wait here, I'm going to bring some bandages for your leg" you say and you left them alone.
Person POV
As I watch the girl go, I wonder if she knows that I'm a dragon. I was still mad but I decided to not turn her to stone because she just helping me. "just helping me" I tell myself as the orbs float around me.

You arrive at your home and you look at the time. It was 11:00 pm. You quietly limp to the kitchen and you got the bandage. You saw that there is only a small piece that is big enough for the person wound. You decided to give it to Them.
You quietly left the house and you walk to the bench. They were still there and they give you a death stare, you don't know why but maybe it because you carry them.
"I'm sorry for carrying you but I have bandages for you." You say as you help put the bandages on their left leg.
As you continue to help them, their gaze softened. A couple of minutes later you were all finished. "There we go" you say as you got up, you bit your lip so you wouldn't wince. You look at them and you say "Your leg is good. What is your name?" You say nervously.
They look at you (including the Golden orbs) which made you even more nervous. You saw them think and then they say "Longan cookie"
"Your name is Longan cookie? That's such a good name." You say. They look shocked for a second before they look normal, nobody says that to them. you didn't saw it.
"Thank you" Longan cookie say. You sit down next to them. "How old are you?" You ask as you turn your head to look at him.
They were silent for a couple of minutes. "Guess" they say. "Hmmmm, you look a little bit older than me so...." You say, thinking. 5 minutes later you were still thinking. Longen speak "It's okay to not guess but I'm not telling you." "Aww man" you say and they chuckled, amused, They turned their head to look at you. "you never told your name" they say
"Oh! My name is Reader Cookie" you say.
"Reader Cookie" they say as if memorizing the name. "Well Reader Cookie, thank you for helping me" they say which made you blush a little, nobody says thank you to you, well because if you tried they just shoo you away. "O- oh, well your welcome" you say, hoping that they don't see the blush, but they already did and they smirk.
There was silence, Longan cookie looks at your leg and saw that it has a scratch, it was still bleeding. You follow their gaze and you cover the scratch. "I got that when I fall but it doesn't hurt " you say, lying to them.
They know your lying but they decided to not question it. They pull out something, it was a white scale. You look at it amazed. "Woah! Is that a scale?" You say.
"yes it is" they say as they place it on your hand. "I want you to keep it." They say as your eyes brighten with joy. "Oh thank you! I will keep it safe." You say smiling.
They smiled too and they pat your head. "I'm only giving you this because you help me." they got up "I have to leave now, Goodbye" they walked away with their orbs. They glance one more time (including their orbs) and then they were gone.
You were sad because they were kinda friendly with you. you look down and you were surprised that your knee is okay. "Huh?" You say surprised. You decided to not question it and you get up and you go home.
You got to your house and quietly go to your room. You thought about the scale. How did he get it? But you didn't want to think about it. You laid down on your bed, putting the blanket on you and you hold the Scale.
"I hope I met you again" you whispered to the night as you fall asleep.
"Friend..."

You wake up with a bolt. You keep remembering that same memory over and over again even though that was centuries ago. You were all grown up now and you live somewhere else. You live in a different village that is by the ocean. Your childhood village was abandoned and you didn't have any family anymore.
But now you help everyone and always stay positive to the kids. Besides, You learn a lot over the years you were alive (you can choose what you learn but for this story you know magic and swordmanships) and you help people by it.
Anyways, You slowly got up, rubbing your eyes and you check the time. It was 8:10 am. You groan because you just want to be in bed but you know you can't be in bed forever. So you Showered, changed your clothes. Before you left you grab a necklace that has the same white scale. And then you go outside smiling.
Today is going to be a good day!
