Chapter Text
“Mama?! Mama?! Wake Up!” Bloody Mary whimpered. Her small, little paws kept pawing at Kaname’s shoulder, a desperate, futile attempt to wake him up.
So what did Bloody Mary do?
Simple, she sprinted out of the apartment, exiting through the doggy door, before making her way to wherever her nose tells her to go. With one aim in mind. Get help.
How filthy were the streets, tainting Mary’s soft feet with dirt. The asphalt, hot enough to burn the sole of shoes, scalded her, with every step she took. Moreover, the sun kept glaring at poor Mary, salty sweat pooling in her eyes.
It was nothing short of hell.
But…
But…
But…
She had to do it. Had to.
For her Mama’s sake.
Every step further emphasise the intense heat. In fact, it was so hot that there was almost nobody out in the streets. All one could hear is absolutely nothing but the buzzing cicadas. Once in a blue moon however, one or two humans would pass by, giving Mary a look of either pity or curiosity or concerned that she is lost.
Finally, she arrived at the place she knew she would received help.
Café Cinnamon
