Chapter Text
*Several Months Later*
Your POV
“So what Ever Happened to that cute guy you were talking about a couple months ago?” (Y/B/F)asks.
“Hmm who?” You ask turning onto your road.
“You know the one you hung up with me so you could talk to. Which is so unlike you by the way.”
“Oh… um I don’t really know what happened there. Super nice guy but he…” You pause trying to think of how to describe the whole Crowley situation. “He ghosted me, ya know how guys can be.”
“Aw…bummer you just can’t catch a break with a good guy huh?”
“Ha” you laugh. “No…no I can’t and you just keep reminding me huh?”
“Sorry (Y/N)”
“Its all good I just got home so I’m gonna get off here so I can take the groceries in.” You say climbing out of the car balancing the phone between your shoulder and ear as you grab a bag of groceries.
“All right I’ll talk to you soon ok? Still on for movie night tonight? I am so excited to finally see your new place.”
“Yeps see ya tonight, loves ya!” You say hanging up.
Walking up to your door you fumble with your keys until you finally get it unlocked and walk in. As soon as you shut the door behind you and turn around. BAM everything starts to go dark… you hear a few voices before passing out.
“Is she out?”
“Yeah get the rope lets tie her up.”
Winchester’s POV
“Yeah Bobby, were on our way to talk to some witnesses but it definitely seems like a witch…..Yeah we’ll call ya when we know more.” Sam says hanging up the phone.
“Bobby got anything for us.” Dean asks, as he parks the Impala.
“Not much more than us, he agrees it sounds like a witch and it seems like they are probably just making life better for themselves without any regard for what the spells bring with it.”
“Great I hate witches man. “Dean says getting out of the car and straightening his tie. “Let’s get this witch.”
Several interviews Later….
“Alright Mrs. Brown, so you knew the second victim David, yes?” Sam asks the woman.
“Please call me Tammy. Yes I did know David he was my husbands friend and business partner.” She says thru a sniffle. “I just cant believe he’s gone he was such a good person” dabbing her eyes with a tissue she continues. “I just don’t get how some people have all the luck and then a good man like him has to die for no reason.”
Sam and Dean look at each other.
“Yes some people do get all the luck, is anyone getting lucky because of his death? Any inheritance or anything of note?” Dean asks.
“From David no, everything went to his wife and children as it should. But… well I wouldn’t think this was connected but Mr. (Y/L/N) died suddenly a few weeks ago….” She trails off. Oh never mind I’m sure it’s nothing.”
“No please you never know what might be useful. Something that seems like nothing could lead to a break in the case.” Sam says.
“Well its just when he passed away a great granddaughter that no one knew existed suddenly came out of nowhere, and well she seems to have had a string of good luck along with inheriting his house and everything.” She sighs but it cant be connected could it, I guess none of us here really know anything about her so maybe…”
“Well, it may have nothing to do with it but if you could give us her contact information we will at least look into it.” Sam says sliding her a pen and paper.
“Of course, of course. Tammy says, writing on the paper before getting up and walking away.
“Ok so looking this girl up this (Y/N) (Y/L/N), she has had a string of good luck new car, new job, inheriting the house and money, and who knows what else.” Sam says scrolling on the computer.
“Yeah, I think she’s our witch.” Dean says putting his gun back together and loading it. “Lets go get the bitch.
“Yeah but remember we want to try and get information from her first. We have to make sure she doesn’t have anyone else cursed already.”
“Yeah yeah, no outright killing her. Got it.”
*Your POV*
Slowly staring to come to, you start to lift your head, eyes blurry. Realizing that your hands and legs are tied to a chair and you have tape over your mouth. You freak out trying to pull at the rope holding you down. Before you see movement in the corner of your eye and freeze, hearing a voice.
“Hey, the witch is awake.” One of the men says.
You can tell one is a little taller than the other. And as your eyesight starts to clear you get a better look at them. Eyes going wide.
There is no way, no fricken way are these the Winchesters. They look exactly like the books describe them, wait did they say witch?! They think I’m a witch!
-Smack- You feel a hand slap you across your face. Tears Spring to your eyes.
“Are you paying attention. I ask you if you have anyone else cursed.” Dean yells at you.
“Mmmmm….mmmmm” You try to speak.
“No need to talk just nod your head yes or no.” Sam says.
This can’t be happening! How do I get outta this if I can just get them to take the tape off I can yell for Crowley and hope he is listening like that time he heard me yelling at the car its worth a try.
Dean raised his hand again for another smack, but before he can swing you start nodding your head yes.
If I say yes they will have to take the tape of to get the names… right I mean makes sense in my head.
“Alright, now we are getting somewhere. Now we’re gonna take this tape off and you are gonna tell us who. Nothing else alright. Dean says as he reaches for the tape.
You nod your head and grimace as the tape starts to peel back. As soon as you can you yell… “CROWLEY! CROWLEY! CROWL…” You yell as many times as you can before you have a hand clamped over your mouth.
“Shut up we told you to just answer our question!” Dean yells.
“Uh Dean…” Sam starts looking at him concerned. “Did she just say Crowley?” He asks before the both of them are thrown against the wall, your couch crushing them against it.
“Hello Boys.” You hear come from a smooth voice behind you.
“Crowley!” You exclaim, trying to turn your head to look at him.
“What the hell?!” Dean yells. “Is she one of your witch bitches!”
Crowly glares at him pushing the couch harder into the boys making them grimace in pain. “Show some respect to those that are stronger than you!” He says thru gritted teeth.
“Crowley stop!” You shout. “I’m ok I promise let them down please.”
Crowley looks back at me and then drops the couch and lets the Winchesters fall to the floor groaning in pain.
“You’re lucky she’s nicer than I am.” He says accent thick as he comes to untie the ropes that are holding me down.
“What the hell Crowley, since when do you protect little witches like this.” Dean asks as they stand rubbing the back of his head.
“I’m not a witch you idiots. Why the fuck would you think that?” I say before Crowley can respond, and he smirks as he finishes untying the ropes around my arms and his thumb rubs absentmindedly over my wrists to make sure I’m okay, before quickly standing up and glaring at the boys.
“Well for one you got all of this witchy stuff in your house, and you’ve come into a lot of good stuff her recently.” Sam says glancing at Dean to see if he noticed how weird Crowley was acting.
“I’m a Wiccan, not a witch I don’t do like actual magic, and as far as good stuff, yeah it was so lucky that my great grandfather died, or that my car was totaled in a crash.” I say rolling my eyes at them.
“Okay well explain knowing him then.” Dean says motioning to Crowley who is still standing close to me glaring as them.
“Oh him…well that was kind of an accident in all honesty.” I say thinking back to our first meeting. “How did you guys get all this info about me anyway?”
“Someone in town pointed us in this direction.” Was all Sam said not wanting to give a name.
“Tammy?” I ask and see the look on there faces and I know I’m right. “ If anyone is a witch its her, you know her father in law just passed away mysteriously, leaving his company to her husband and, they just got a brand new house and she was accepted into some art gallery, and anyone that crosses her gets hurt. That’s your witch, she just couldn’t get to me because I know what to look for, so she sent you oafs to try and deal with me.”
“Seriously we got played by the real with shit.” Dean says.
“What a surprise you idiots got something wrong.” Crowly says annoyed. “Well why don’t you leave and go fix it. I’ll clean up your mess here.” He says looking to me briefly.
The Winchesters look between the two of us for a moment and then gather there things and head out. Giving Crowley a look that says this isn’t over yet.
A few minutes after they left I look to Crowley. “So you wanna talk about why you ghosted me the last time, and why you came in so aggressively this time?”
“I didn’t ghost you…I just had business to attend to. And they were hurting you darling that’s why I was aggressive, you should have let me at least break a bone or two.” He says as he reaches out for me touching the spot on my head where the Winchesters knocked me out, and it heals.
“Oh…thanks…” I say softly looking up at him standing close to me. “So….last time you left suddenly when you were about to tell me what you meant, you know when you said you’ve been checking in on me.”
“No I wasn’t going to tell you anything Darling.” He says leaning closer pretending to look at my wound to make sure its healed, but I see his eyes drop briefly to my lips.
I have a moment of boldness and I close the distance my lips meeting his in a kiss. He kisses back, one hand slipping into my hair, one on my waist pulling me against him. The next moment there is a knock on my door and Crowly disappears into smoke and out thru the chimney. Leaving me standing there breathing hard and blushing, shocked that I had been bold enough to do that, and now annoyed at whoever was knocking on my door. I take a deep breath and make my way to the door, opening it my best friend is standing there.
“Hey girl, I got off a little early so thought id come on over. Why is your face so red.” She asks as she comes inside. “And nice place.” She says looking around and I notice the sofa and everything is back in its proper place.
