Chapter Text
Sunoo walked out of the bathroom and heard a faint sound coming from Sunghoon’s bed.
He walked over quickly to a basically whimpering Sunghoon who was laying facing the wall. Sunghoon’s back was shaking with his weeps. Sunoo sat down on the side of his bed and pulled the sheet off of his face.
“Hyung?”
“I’m,” he sniffled, “sorry.” He had a hand pressed over his mouth and attempted to muffle his crying.
Sunoo couldn’t help but sulk when he heard the other’s voice crack with shame. “No, hyung, please don’t be.” He pulled the latter’s shoulder, turning him so they faced each other.
Sunghoon shut his eyes out of embarrassment as he tried to slow his breathing.
“What is it, Sunghoonie?”
“I just have a really big test soon and I can’t help but to think about it. If I don’t pass this test, my graduation gets set back a year. It’s stupid, I know.” He hadn’t expected him to answer so quickly and honestly, but when he did Sunoo was glad.
“Oh, hyung,” he wiped Sunghoon’s wet, red cheeks with his sleeve. “It’s not stupid, it’s okay to have worries.”
Unfortunately, this just made Sunghoon’s eyes water even more. Sunoo leaned forward and dipped his head into the other’s neck. He slid his arms behind his head, and Sunghoon wrapped his arms around his back in return. The room went silent, save for Sunghoon catching his breath. After mindlessly embracing each other for a while,
“Please just stay here tonight,” he said with an aching voice.
Without a word, Sunoo pulled his legs up onto the bed and relaxed into his hyung. With remembering that Sunghoon was the one who needed to be comforted, Sunoo adjusted them so his head would rest on his own chest. Sunoo ran his fingers through the latter’s dark hair. With every touch, he felt the boy’s tension slowly leave his body. Once Sunghoon feel asleep, Sunoo didn’t stop. He tucked stray pieces of hair behind his ears and enjoyed the softness of his hyung’s hair. This time, it was to soothe himself.
What am I going to do about you, Park Sunghoon?
When he woke up, Sunghoon was gone.
Shit. I should’ve known this would make things weird.
As if he had heard the other’s worry, Sunghoon slipped back into the dorm at the perfect moment.
“Sorry, yah. Had the test this morning.”
Sunoo got up to meet him in the kitchen. “How’d it go?”
Sunghoon let out a very deep breath, “I… passed.”
“Oh my gosh, you scared me! I thought I’d have to basically swaddle you again!” He teased while smacking the other’s shoulder.
“Oh, shush,” Sunghoon snorted, placing a playful punch on his shoulder in return. “Wanna finish that drama tonight?”
The sudden reminder of their recent sleepover made Sunoo’s cheeks flush red.
“Who do you think you’re asking right now? Of course I do.”
Sunghoon giggled, “First, go change so we can get lunch.”
“But it’s only 11?”
“Sunoo-ah. Hyung just took potentially the hardest test of his life, and you’re going to deny him food?”
“You’re so corny,” Sunoo said with a laugh. “No more third person, okay?”
“No promises.”
“I mean, who even makes students test on Saturdays anyway? This professor of yours sounds evil.”
“He is,” Sunghoon replied while typing in his laptop password.
Sunoo crawled into his bed, careful to not spill the water he had just retrieved from the kitchen. After setting it down, he tensely slid under the blankets.
You’d think you’d get used to close proximity by now, he thought.
Halfway through the final episode, Sunoo shifted into the other’s side. He felt his eyes begin to close as he slightly nuzzled his face into the older’s neck. With no warning, Sunghoon clasped the laptop shut and sighed.
Sunoo’s eyes shot wide in fear.
Shit.
“Can I kiss you?”
Double shit. And what the hell? Suddenly? Am I dreaming?
He felt Sunghoon’s hand creep up to cup his cheek.
Nope. Wide awake, indeed.
Warmth spread throughout his entire body as he replied with a soft, “please.”
Needy, much?
With that, Sunghoon closed the gap between them. After a few delicate kisses, he gently pulled Sunoo’s head closer to his, intensifying the kiss. Sunoo swung his leg around his waist, settling into his lap. The older boy sucked and nibbled at his underlip. His hands cupped Sunghoon’s face as his mind rushed through a million thoughts.
Gosh, I hope this is real.
When they finally pulled back for breath, Sunghoon pressed his forehead into the younger’s.
“I like you, Sunoo-yah. A lot.”
Sunoo pecked his lips, “I like you too, hyung.” He giggled.
He soon slid off of his lap and down so his back was fully against the bed, and Sunghoon leaned over and propped himself up with a hand next to Sunoo’s head. He locked eyes with the younger, inches away from his face.
A nod of permission from Sunoo resulted in Sunghoon kissing him again, hungrier, deeper. Sunoo’s arms wrapped around his neck while the latter’s other hand found his waist. Sunghoon’s hand slipped under his shirt. This warm hands rubbed careful circles into his stomach that sent a shiver down his spine.
Sunoo almost couldn’t believe it. The boy he had been desperately wanting for the past two months was literally on top of him right now.
Sunghoon bit at his lower lip until he parted his mouth to let the older in. He slid his tongue in his mouth, letting in roam. First across the roof of his mouth, then against his molars. He tangled it into Sunoo’s own for a moment. Once Sunghoon had mapped out his mouth with his tongue, he trailed open-mouthed kisses down the other’s jaw and onto his neck. He sucked at a soft spot a bit too long.
“Hyung,” Sunoo said breathlessly.
After endless minutes of Sunoo’s hands tangled in the latter’s hair, they pulled apart and Sunghoon rested his body fully onto Sunoo’s.
“Ack,” Sunoo couldn’t help but giggle, “you’re heavy.”
Sunghoon let out a laugh himself, then suddenly shifted the conversation. “I don’t just want to be your roommate, yah,” he mumbled into his neck.
“Then don’t be.”
