You look him in the eye and try to dare him.
You look him in the eye and think you must lie to save your life.
You look him in the eye and remember every time you've been told you have honest eyes, you can't lie.
You hope it's untrue.
You want to live, to see Patrick one last time.
You let them leave; a second later, try to leave a signal, a clue.
You left the notebook, He’ll look around.
You stare at the blood on the floor and sink your foot into it.
He’ll understand. You’ll be saved.

Notes:

What can I say about this one? It’s a collection of drabble stories I wrote years ago, after watching the episode over and over again. I love them all and I love none of them, but above all I think ‘Greybar Hotel’ is one of the best episodes of season seven; I absolutely adored it and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it just to write them all. There are eleven of them, and I’ve already started translating them all, though I must admit that keeping track of the word count from Italian to English is harder than expected with these.

In the fandom, on EFP fanfic, at some point I became known as “the drabble girl” and I have to say that, now that I’ve translated them, I can see why – I’ve written loads of them over the years.

This is completely unrelated: I’m absolutely delighted to see that the fandom is still going strong here; I’ve been reading loads of fanfiction recently and I plan to comment on quite a few as soon as I get a moment,
