Part 7: Doki-doki Kawaii Anime School
You awoke to a soft knocking on your door.
"Y/n?" Holy Kujo's voice called out to you. "It's time to get up! Breakfast is in the kitchen."
You yawned and stretched your arms. You unfortunately hadn't slept well, due to the previous night's excursion; it felt like sleep would hit you at any moment. Chalking it up to the timezone shift, you changed into the school uniform Jotaro had given you the previous night. Surprisingly, the outfit fit perfectly. The neckerchief, however, was another story. It seemed that no matter how hard you tried, the fabric turned out lopsided, creased, or cartoonish in size.
Oh well, I'll just ask Holy for help.
You hurriedly dug through Sunset's inventory for hair and makeup supplies, quickly throwing together a look to make up for lost time. Lastly, you pulled your socks on and raced out of the your room.
The Kujo mansion seemed even bigger and more beautiful than it was the previous night, yet somehow was easier to navigate. When you got to the kitchen, Holy and Jotaro were already there, along with a plate of pancakes sat at an empty spot.
"Did you have trouble getting the neckerchief on? Here, sit down and eat. I'll get it tied for you."
You sat down at the table next to Jotaro. Your first bite of pancake tasted just like a mother's love. Sweet devotion and nurturing.
"You know, I always wanted a daughter." Holy continued, "When I was pregnant with Jotaro, the doctor told us we were having a little girl. So, I researched all the things I needed to know to raise a daughter. He was of course, wrong about that."
"I take it that Jotaro doesn't have any siblings?" You said between bites of pancake.
Holy confirmed with a nod of her head. "With my husband overseas so often, we decided that having another child would put unnecessary strain on our family. Make no mistake though, I'm very happy that I had Jotaro. I love him just the way he is." She said with an affectionate ruffle of his hair.
Jotaro returned the gesture by turning around in his chair and muttering something to the effect of "Shut up bitch."
You glowered in Jotaro's direction while Holy reached around your neck and tied the neckerchief. You were going to have to talk to him about that later.
You finished your pancakes and pushed in your chair. "Thank you Mrs. Kujo!" You smiled, moving to wash up your dishes.
"Don't worry about your dishes, I'll take care of them. And please, call me Seiko."
"Ok, Seiko!" You moved to the door and pulled on your shoes. Next to you, Holy, or should you say Seiko, gave her son a goodbye kiss. He muttered some objection under his breath as he strode proudly out the door, you followed behind struggling to catch up with his strides.
"Jotaro! Hey! Jotaro wait up! I need to talk to you!" The two of you crossed the gate of the Kujo estate. Jotaro turned around to look at you, only to click his tongue and look infront of him. This only served to anger you further.
"Don't tch me! Look at me Jotaro!" You ran up to him and grabbed the massive metal chain conveniently hanging off of his coat as if it was a door knocker.
"What, bitch." Jotaro muttered looking down at you from beneath the brim of his hat.
"I don't know who in hell taught you to speak to your mother that way. But they were wrong. That woman birthed you and raised you and kept you fed and sheltered. She deserves a certain degree of respect." You stood your ground, e/c eyes not wavering.
"And how the hell does that have anything to do with you?" Jotaro retorted.
"It just does. Ok? Women have to stand up for women it's a fact of life." You paused before adding, "Besides, our time with our mothers is fleeting. I bet you'll regret every awful thing you've said the next time something bad happens to her."
"Yeah right." Jotaro turned away and picked up his pace slightly, walking faster than you. You were about to continue to scold him when your phone buzzed in your pocket.
(Hey, sis! How's Doki-doki Kawaii Anime School?)
B/N, oh my god.
You unlocked your phone, thumbs flying across the keyboard.
( 1. Not there yet. 2. Would you stop calling it that? 3. How the hell did you know that I would be going to school here?)
His response was near immediate
(1. Damn 2. Nah. It's funny. 3. Mom told me.)
(Anyways, how's Japan?)
You texted back
(It's ok I guess. Mr. Joestar's grandson is a real pain in the ass.)
(And so is jet lag. I'm so tired)
All of a sudden, your head collided with an object in front of you. You looked up to see what- or rather who it was.
A boy stood in front of you with a slightly annoyed expression on his face. He was only a bit taller than you, but still looked to be close to your age. He wore a green gakuran and sported an odd pinkish-red haircut, including a large curly bang at the front of his face. His violet eyes stared down at you with an odd coolness.
You really should have felt embarrassed, but any awkwardness was smothered by captivation.
"Um... are you ok? You've been staring for an awfully long time now..." the boy waved a hand in front of your face, breaking you from your trance.
"Oh! Yeah! I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was-" you paused, noticing an idiosyncrasy"How did you know that I spoke English?"
The odd boy pointed down at your phone. "You read your texts out loud while you write them. You might want to stop doing that."
Your cheeks flushed, not knowing what to say " Ah. I should be leaving now." You moved to the side, catching a glimpse of what he had been doing previously. A painting of Jotaro sat in front of you. Let's just say it wasn't... Louvre material. But you'd taken it in too long to not acknowledge the art work.
"Cool painting." You stuck your thumbs up and plastered a cheesy smile on your face. "Bye now!"
You raced down the road towards Jotaro, past a pack of schoolgirls. By now he had gotten almost fully down the pathway, he was standing in front of a Torii gate. Behind him were steep steps leading down a hill.
Thank god I caught up to him now. Otherwise I might have not seen where he had gone.
Your feet hit the pavement as questions swirled in your head about the redhead you had just met.
What the hell? Why was he painting Jotaro? And so quickly! Is Japan completely full of weirdos?
You came to a stop next to Jotaro. "You can't do that, dude! I don't know my way around these parts! I could've gotten lo-" A sudden weight hit you before you could continue chastising the boy. Your face kissed the pavement unceremoniously. Pain blossomed from your nose, as you found it was bleeding for the second time in 24 hours.
Great.
The weight spoke from above in a girlish voice. "Dirty foreigner, trying to take Jotaro away from me."
Before you could attempt to get up, Jotaro's booming voice cut across the area. "Cut it the hell out. Right now." Almost instantly, the weight was lifted from your back and you pulled yourself to your feet.
The girl standing in front of you couldn't have been much older than you. She gave you a slightly apologetic, entirely phony smile. "Sorry. I didn't mean to push you that hard." She said in English, with a thick Japanese accent, and handed you another handkerchief.
Man, I should start collecting these
Looking around, the other schoolgirls gathered around, clearly expecting you to put up some kind of fight. Unfortunately for them, you weren't in the mood.
"It's no problem," you accepted the handkerchief, "Jotaro, can we go to the nurse's office once we get to school?" Jotaro looked at you and then gave a slightly confused nod. "Great." You responded, then began walking down the stairs.
You had barely gotten five steps down when a loud crashing noise came from your right. To your surprise, it was Jotaro, flying down the steps.
Can this day get any more bizarre?

Part 8: Back to the Gulag
Jotaro tumbled uncontrollably down the embankment, crashing into the pavement below. Behind him, followed the flock of worried girls from before. They elbowed and pushed you around screeching like seagulls on the last stale french-fry until the throng finally made it past you. Down the hill, you could see that Jotaro was bleeding from a large cut on his leg from...
Huh. That's strange. I can't tell what cut him.
You looked up the hill in the hopes that your question would be answered, instead catching the amethyst gaze of the redhead from earlier. All at once a jolt of electricity hit your spine, sending goosebumps around your body. It was like your very bones were screaming at you to run while your muscles refused to move. It took all you had to snap your eyes away.
Jeez! What the hell is this?
You chose to focus on Jotaro instead, your feet skipping over steps until you reached the bottom. You found the emo teen surrounded by various squealing girls, practically climbing over one another to get closer.
The cut on Jotaro's leg was decently bad; to the point that you could assume that a trip to the nurse's office was required. Unfortunately, his handkerchief had been stained with your blood the previous night, and the one you were holding to your nose was also covered in your own blood, contaminating the whole thing.
While the girls gathered around Jotaro, the young man managed to pull himself to his feet. After steadying himself, his eyes were drawn up the stairs. You followed his gaze, and quickly found yourself caught looking at the redhead from earlier.
Time seemed to slow once again as he made his way down the stairs, a white scarf draped over his shoulders, fluttering slightly in the wind. Your mind seemed to stop thinking, and before you knew it, the young man had reached the bottom of the steps. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his own handkerchief , handing it over to Jotaro.
"It looks like you're bleeding. Will you be alright?"
Jotaro accepted the handkerchief, replying with a low "yeah."
"Good to hear. You should really watch where you're going. You too, American girl." he nodded towards you
The boy in the green gakuran turned to leave, before he was stopped by Jotaro.
"Hey!"
The redhead turned around
"I forgot to say thank you. I haven't seen you around, are you new here?" Jotaro asked.
"My name is Kakyoin Noriaki. I just transferred to your high school." the redh- Kakyoin responded. "Now, I have to go. Can't be late for my first day." He shot you a knowing look, smirking slightly. A chill flew up your spine.
Something is VERY wrong. I just can't tell what it is.
As Kakyoin made his dramatic exit, the Kujo fan club began whispering around you about the mysterious new student.
"He's kind of cute."
"He looks like a femboy."
"Smash."
Your eyes turned to meet Jotaro's. As your gazes met, your thoughts aligned into an agreement on the odd boy.
What a Pompous Douchebag. Something must be wrong with him.
As the girls around you continued to giggle and gossip among themselves, Jotaro grasped your wrist and began quickly walking away from their group. Though you didn't like his treatment of you, you made the executive decision not to pick a fight right now. At least he was taking you with him.
After a few blocks of silence you spoke up. "Hey Jotaro. Where did your fangirls go? I thought you couldn't shake them?"
Jotaro continued to walk, not even bothering to turn around. "They're trying to get to school."
"And we aren't?"
"Well, it's that way." He pointed in the way you had come from. "If that's where you're headed."
You felt like you were about to explode with the amount of rage you felt. You wrenched your wrist out of the boy's grasp.
"You know what, Kujo? Fuck you. I thought you were a nice person last night, but it seems like I was wrong. I'll see you in hell. Or at school if you bother to show up."
You turned on your heel and left. Didn't matter if you knew where you were going, as long as it was far away from Jotaro.
You walked in the general direction of the school, hoping you could make it there on time.
Being on time was one of the most important things to your way of life. It meant staying under the radar. You had walked into class late once in your life, despite your best efforts. As soon as the classroom door closed behind you, all eyes were on you. You were mortified. It felt like the whole world stopped and stared at you, reminding you of how badly you had messed up. You had slunk to your seat as the class looked on, eventually going back to the lesson once they were done gawking. It was safe to say, you hadn't been late since then, making an effort to get places early, even if just to avoid being late.
You weren't going to let Jotaro Kujo humiliate you more than he already had. He didn't deserve that.
You turned to look at your unfamiliar surroundings. Houses lined up with their clones down identical streets. You were completely and unmistakably lost. Pulling up your phone, your gps only replaced one issue with another. You were somehow twice as far from the school as you were before. And you had only a few minutes to get there on time.
Regardless of what Jotaro Kujo did or didn't deserve, hot tears of frustration began flowing from your eyes. You wiped your face on your sleeve and began walking back in the right direction, only to be met with the one person you didn't want to see.
Jotaro looked down at you slightly below the brim of his hat. You refused to meet his gaze, instead walking past the emo boy and continuing on.
"Are you seriously crying."
You didn't want to deal with him. Not now. Not ever. "Fuck off, Kujo." you snarled, trying to cover the quiver in your voice and failing miserably.
You were half a block away from him before he spoke again.
"Why don't you just teleport over there? Like you did yesterday."
"If it worked that way, don't you think I would have already done it?" The tears were coming back, more than ever. The quiver in your voice was only getting more shakey. You stood there, tensed up willing the feelings in you to go away and getting nowhere. Your gaze laser-focused on the pavement in front of you as footsteps made their way to you. Jotaro's black shoes stepped into your blurred frame of vision.
"I'm sorry." Jotaro said, his voice noticeably softer "I didn't know."
You refused to grace him with an apology. "I need to visualize an area in order to teleport to it. And I can't visualize an area that I've never been to before." You sniffled, still looking at the pavement.
A minute or so of awkward silence passed before a phone came into view. You wiped your blurred eyes to see a Google Street View of Jotaro's school. You scrolled around, taking in all of the details. "Will this work?" The boy asked.
"I don't know. But I'll try. What I'm more worried about is taking you with me. I've only ever teleported myself before."
"Who said I was going with you?"
"You're coming. The first bell rang 10 minutes ago. They probably won't let me in without you with me. Besides..." you looked down to the wound on Jotaro's leg, still slightly bleeding, "Besides, you still need to get your leg checked out. I don't care how deep your wound is, infection isn't pretty or fun."
Jotaro sighed in defeat. "Yare yare. Back to the Gulag it is."
"Close your eyes" You said, grabbing Jotaro by the hand. You visualized the school, the trees, the buildings across the street. You saw light change from beneath closed eyelids, as the ground morphed beneath your feet. You waited a few seconds before opening your eyes. There you stood, the school gate before the two of you. You tapped on Jotaro's shoulder to indicate that he could open his eyes.
"What now?" You gestured to the closed gate. Jotaro said nothing, only moving to hop over the obstruction. He turned back to you expectantly.
There is no way in hell I'm getting over that.
In a flash of orange and gold, you materialized next to Jotaro. Almost instantly, a wave of exhaustion hit you and your hands hit your knees in an attempt to stay balanced.
"You know they have security cameras out here, right?" Jotaro questioned.
You stood back up, willing your strength back, if only for a little while. "Don't care. Let's just get to the nurses office."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 9: Fellas, is it Weird to Kiss your School Nurse?
TW: for blood again. From here on out blood should be a given.
You stared up at the ceiling of the high school infirmary, recounting the morning. You had met the principal of Jotaro's school at the door, a man who, seeing the state you two were in, hastily lead you back to the nurse's office. Apparently, expectations were very low for Jotaro, and your late arrival was expected. They were actually surprised you even managed to show up. Or at least, that was what the talkative school nurse had told you while she was fixing up your bloody nose. Now, you were lying on one of the infirmary beds, while the nurse got her supplies to look at Jotaro. You sipped a juice box while you listened to two other delinquents arguing about you, Jotaro's new "American Girlfriend"
"Damn Jotaro." One jeered "Who's the babe? You never mentioned a girlfriend before."
Jotaro, moody as ever, only managed a "Shut the hell up. She isn't my girlfriend"
"Oh so she's up for grabs then?" The other delinquent looked you up and down from across the room. He cleared his throat, and in his best english, shot his shot.
"Hey girl. Want to have a fun night with me?" from the way he winked his eye, you could tell that this boy's intentions were anything but pure.
Luckily, the word "No" is understood over most languages. Atleast, I hope it is.
You spoke your rejection, loudly and clearly. The boy's face fell. "Come on. I'm just as good as Jotaro! Just give me a chance."
You sat up and turned to the teen. "I don't care how good you are, I'm not interested. And Jotaro isn't that "good" regardless of what you mean by "good". I only exist around him because I have to." It was safe to say that you were still upset from the morning.
I have to assert boundaries, no matter how others might feel. When boundaries are unclear, people get hurt. I won't let that happen again.
You shook yourself out of your mind once again, quickly enough to hear the delinquents calling you "stuck up" and to see Jotaro glaring at them. The nurse suddenly rejoined the room, bringing over a thermometer to check whether or not the boys were truly sick. You leaned back and closed your eyes. Someone would probably wake you up when it was time to go to class.
Until there was a scream.
You sat up, head snapping to the direction of the cry. The sweet nurse you had been talking to earlier had jammed a pen into one of the boy's eyes. The two of them ran out of the room, leaving you, Jotaro, and the nurse, who had begun foaming at the mouth. You watched as the rabid nurse stabbed Jotaro in the face with her pen. Green tentacles snaked out from beneath her skirt. Your gaze followed the tentacles towards the window next to you. There, the redhead from earlier perched himself on the windowsill. He seemed to fidget slightly, until he finally chose a comfortable position. You stood stock still, full of fear and yet so enamored. With your bed being next to the window, you were decently close to the boy, to the point that you could smell the wind carrying a scent off of his school uniform. The sickly sweet smell of rotten cherries hit you like a wave. It took everything in you not to gag.
He's paying me no mind, maybe because he doesn't know about my stand? No way. he would have used me like he did with the nurse and the two delinquents! In that case, he probably doesn't even know I'm here! And with him so focused on Jotaro, I have the perfect chance to get the upper hand! I may not like Jotaro, but once this guy finishes him off, he'll go after me. I'm better off being proactive.
You picked up on the tail end of a conversation between Jotaro and the boy on the windowsill "-she's under my control now. Attack my stand and you'll hurt her too."
Welp. Now or never.
As quickly as you could you swung your legs around and kicked the redhead squarely in the nose. He paused in shock and you took that opening to push him out of the window.
"Y/n!" Jotaro called out to you and you turned to look at him.
"We're on the first floor!" he grunted as he continued to fight the nurse. All too late you realized what he meant as a tentacle wrapped around your torso and threw you into a wall. In a second, your head felt as if it had split open. Fresh blood dripped down your face. Through the ringing in your ears, you could vaguely hear Jotaro calling to you again. You fought through the protests of your body and grasped a countertop next to you to pull yourself to a standing position. Your hair had come undone and wet bloody clumps had plastered themselves to your face. You used your free hand to sweep them out out of vision only to see... Jotaro making out with the nurse?
"Ewwwwwwww. Jotaro that's gross." You grimaced "She's like 20 years older than you or something! And she's a flesh puppet right now! She can't even consent!" Jotaro shot you a warning look as Kakyoin grasped his forehead in pain "No. Don't look at me like that Jotaro. This is SO wrong-" You cut yourself off as Jotaro's stand pulled Kakyoin's out of the nurse.
Oh... But still. There must have been a better way to do that.
Kakyoin looked up at the two of you, sweat dripping from his brow. "The both of you are quite determined fighters. But you'll come to regret removing my stand from her, Jojo."
A shiny liquid began to leak from the green stand's hands. "Watch out!" You yelled at Jotaro.
"Take this! Hierophant Green's Emerald Splash!"
Iridescent green gemstones erupted from the stand's hands and flung Jotaro into the wall. Jotaro coughed, red leaking from his mouth. You moved to walk towards him, meeting resistance binding your shins together. Looking down, a certain stand's tentacles had begun snaking their way up your legs.
Oh hell nah.
In a second you had visualized the view you had from the bed earlier. You turned to glare at Kakyoin, his expression painted with shock. "How dare you!" you accused.
"So you're the one he was talking about..." The boy muttered to himself. His lavender eyes seemed to memorize your features, taking every line and curve in to be stored for later.
"Who is he? Who's talking about me?" You hollered " Answer me goddamnit!"
Kakyoin shook his head "It's not important. Soon the whole of the Jostar bloodline will be extinct. Look at your friend Jotaro over there. He's already suffering from internal bleeding. And, he isn't the only one."
The nurse suddenly began spasming, blood spurting from various places on her body. You quickly teleported to her, assessing her to see what you could do. You raced to the cabinet in front of you and grabbed a handful of gauze and medical tape to patch up what you could. From behind you, you heard Kakyoin's patronizing voice talking at Jotaro.
"Look what you've done. I warned you not to remove my stand from the nurse and yet you still did. Now she's bleeding out and it's all your fault. Maybe Y/n will be a better victim and let me kill her without a fuss."
You stood up from patching up the nurse. "I will not! Are you seriously shifting the blame from yourself to Jotaro? Don't forget that you put your stand there in the first place. Besides, shifting blame is one of the least attractive things a man can do. You'll never get a girlfriend that way, much less a wife."
Kakyoin's mouth smirked at you "And if I'm not interested in women?"
"It doesn't matter which way you swing, fruity pebbles. If you keep acting the way you are now, then you're gonna die alone."
"I don't need a partner." The boy retorted "I don't need anyone. I have Dio to fulfill my life." and with that, a barrage of emeralds was sent your way. You teleported to the side, only to have another attack directed at you. You jumped around, dodging blasts as they came. Within a few minutes, you had to lean against a wall to keep yourself upright. You wiped your forehead, and more blood stained the sleeve of the borrowed uniform. You let yourself slump to the floor as Jotaro took Kakyoin's attention once again.
Your mind faded into a mess of nothing for a minute or so before you shook yourself back into consciousness.
"That's a nice thought Jojo. However in the end, the victor writes history. He who wins is always good while the loser is always evil. How that comes to be is beside the point."
"How stupid can you be?" You mutter from the corner.
"I'm sorry?" Kakyoin glances towards you as if you're a toddler spouting off random deranged comments. Jotaro turns his head towards you as well, looking at you as if he's trying to sense your strategy by facial expression alone.
"You heard me. This "always" talk is totally asinine. You can rewrite history all you want and hide your dirty little secrets away, but the cold hard truth will always surface. How things are done matter more than you could dream, even if the outside world never knows a thing. Heck, I'm totally defenseless right now. If you strike me down now, then by your logic, you would be the "good" one. But I bet you that pure guilt will eat you from the moment you pull that proverbial trigger. You may have won, but regret of your unkind actions will follow you to the grave. So strike me down, but beware of the consequences."
You looked up at Kakyoin, conflict overcame his features before a force seemed to quell his concern.
"So be it." Like that, emeralds began hurtling towards you. You clenched your eyes shut and braced for impact. Surprisingly, none came.
You opened your eyes to see Jotaro's stand standing before a very startled Kakyoin.
"That's impossible! No one can deflect the Emerald Splash!"
You watched on as Jotaro's stand grasped Kakyoin's by the throat. "Hi. I'm consequences. And I just did."
The next few minutes were filled with a flurry of punches and many "ORA!"s. You allowed your mind to drift once more.
After what felt like no time at all and forever at the same time, you felt a shadow loom over you.
"Don't tell me I have to carry you home too."
You opened your eyes to see Jotaro Kujo glaring down at you, a barely conscious Kakyoin slung over his shoulder. The poor guy looked like he had been thrown into a car accident in the middle of a tornado in a landslide.
"No. I'll be fine." You mumbled, pulling yourself to your feet. You crossed the room to where you had left the nurse.
"I checked her out, she should be fine." you heard Jotaro call out.
"I know. Hang on a sec." You replied.
Shouldn't you elevate the legs of someone with internal bleeding? I could have sworn I heard that somewhere.
You positioned the nurse's legs above her, and ran to get a blanket for the woman. When you returned, you saw that a small bit of color had returned to the her cheeks.
That should give the medics a bit more time to help her.
With that, you taped a bit of gauze to the still slightly flowing head wound you had sustained and ransacked the juice boxes in the office's minifridge.
"Did you have to do all of that?" Jotaro queried, climbing out of the window.
"I'm just paying myself back for a job well done." You responded, storing the extra juice boxes in sunset's storage and opting to open a can of lime soda.
You gulped down the sour drink as Jotaro and you walked away from the school, a comfortable silence settling over you.
"We make pretty good team, don't we Joot?"
"Don't call me that."
