Chapter Text
“Astro. Astro. ASTRO WAKE THE FUCK UP VEE DIED.” austin’s loud ass voice boomed. astro very quickly shot up, looking scared as shit for his curvy clanker wife whom he loves very much. or something along the lines of that i don’t really know.
“HUHWHATHEFUCKDIDYOUJUSSAY-“
astro then looked over at the very startled looking vee, who had just been force turned on through austin screaming his goddamn lungs out. she was a little jumpy now apparently, and it was very weird to astro to know that unfortunately he isn’t the sub in the relationship for now, so now he has to make the first moves. for uh yknow what. ‘listen to my clanker cheeks clap’ that kind of shit. anyway back to astro.
“Wh- Oh…”
the whole plane was empty. everyone, AND I MEAN EVERYONE, left. veronica was waiting at the airplane door, the crisp 8 in the morning sunlight coming in through said door. astro slowly got up, walking over to the door. vee helped him walk over, i mean she does still care for him. that part of her code didn’t get fucked up it was only the base code. the base is personality. and like memories from the show.
the sky was stinging his eyes a little but was beautiful to look at nonetheless. if only vee had better eyes than a goddamn 0.6 megapixel camera, she would’ve also been having fun. all she’s getting is a blush across her screen from the cold. her own code, base code that through some miracle survived from getting her face pummelled in, started to make her screen form a little pink flush on her face that showed that her cooling was slowing down.
that little detail made astro smile. then vee smiled. and then vee came closer. they kissed. just a brief one. vee’s screen was still warm, very warm. and then vee laughed. a real, genuine one, that may as well be the last sliver of her real self. then astro started to stop stifling away his giggling. they were both snickering like they were on some really good meth, walking towards the airport.
”…They’re like kids. All happy-go-lucky, laughing about.” austin remarked, looking at the two walk towardsthe arrival building.
”Least they’re happy. You wouldn’t wanna see them sad, would you? I definitely wouldn’t.” veronica kind of snapped back. she’s right about that, i also wouldn’t wanna see these two sad.
“…Yeah, me neither.”
”…Where’s the address that we’re even going to…??”
veronica pulled out a piece of paper (which was really a costco receipt) that had a home address scribbled on it in delilah’s hasty and shitty handwriting. i’m not gonna address the address cause it has something to do with the future. the FAR future.
”…Should we go after them now?” veronica said, putting the piece of paper back into her jacket pocket.
”Oh wait a minute we should- SHIT!-“
austin ran down the stairs of the plane, veronica following behind. this was gonna be a long, fun trip for the 4 of them.
