Chapter Text
Finn’s class had a free period one day due to the chemistry teacher being sick. That day in particular, Luke brought Uno to school and suggested that they play to pass the time. Finn already knew that it wouldn’t be a peaceful game considering that it was Uno: No Mercy.
“Argh, you puta!” Luke yelled.
“Ha ha, suck my dick, loser!” Henry yelled back, placing a +10 card on the table.
“You’re fucking getting it next time.” He grumbled, picking his 10 cards up.
“Finn, a present for you.” Noah said, placing a +4.
Finn scoffed. “You thought, bitch.” He said, placing a +4 as well.
“What the—“ Henry blurted. “No fair!” He picked his cards up.
Luke placed a color card and changed it to blue.
“Fuck.” Finn whispered under his breath and placed another color card, changing it back to green.
“Finn, don’t piss me off.” Luke said.
“Shh, shh.” Noah combed through his cards and placed a green +10. “A present for you too, ginger.” He smirked devilishly.
“Nuh-uh!” Henry placed a +4.
“Why do I still not have a single fucking draw card?!” Luke had been crashing out for a while now. His blood pressure probably skyrocketed to the moon at this point. He picked his cards up.
Noah placed a block card. Finn grumbled. Henry finally put down a normal card for once.
“Yes! Take that, fucker!” Luke slammed a +4 on the table.
“No.” Noah said calmly, placing a +10.
Finn quickly placed down a +2.
“Wait…” Luke muttered.
Henry snicked, to which Luke made a terrified expression. “This, my friend, is for all the times you pushed me away from the vending machine and made me go last.” He slammed a white card that had the words written on it: DRAW 20 CARDS.
Luke slammed his fists on the table, to which both Finn and Henry flinched, one startled and one cackling. “Son of a bitch!”
“Noob.” Noah said, handing the fat stack of cards to him.
“This is bullshit, I’m not playing anymore!”
“You suggested it, idiot!” Henry said, still laughing.
“Never again!” He stormed out of the room.
Henry wiped his tears. “Ain’t no way, dude. We rage baited him so good.”
“Yeah, I’ve never seen him so pissed off.” Finn added.
“Oh, you have no idea. He always gets like this over games, be it card or video games.” Noah said, packing the cards back in the box.
“Why does he suggest it then?”
“I dunno. Maybe he thinks that, one day, he’ll finally beat us.”
“No way, José!” Henry yelled, smiling brightly like a child who just got three scoops of ice cream.
