Chapter Text
007n7 can't bear the fact he just ate someone alive. He decided to burrow himself into a bush, in hope no one would go looking for him. He was on the verge of crying, why did he do that? Telamon, it was pathetic of him, but he didn't care. He felt the tears start streaming down his face, as he hid his face into his knees, he let out soft, quiet sobs.
While inside the main cabin was tense, everyone was still sitting at the winners table, too stunned to speak. Sure 007n7 always left after a round, but not so abruptly and rushed. Shedletsky looked at the door, then back at builderman. “What was that about?”
He asked, chance chimed in, “yeah he looked really pale, did something happen?”. Builderman just stayed silent, he was also stunned by what happened. Not just in the round but just now too. Guest1337 got up, adjusting his army suit as he did so. “Stay here, Elliot, you're on for dinner tonight, I’m gonna go find him.”
He walked outside, the cold air hitting his face as he searched the perimeter. “Seven? Are you out here?” He calls out, no response. After a few minutes of searching he hears quiet muffled crying coming from a huge bush.
Guest1337’s boots crunch softly under the soil as he walks closer to the bush, he can see 07’s tail sticking out of the bush. Guest1337’s eyes widened at the sight of 07 curled into the farthest and darkest part of the bush, crying. Guest crouched down, making sure to not make any sudden movements. “Sev?..” no response.
“Seven.” 07 slowly looked up, his eyes still watery from crying. He didn't say anything, just..stared at him. “Are you sick? Chance said you looked pale, I can’t really see that well due to it being dark” he tried to joke, to lighten the mood..it didn’t work. “Why are you here?” 007n7 finally muttered, his voice, shaky and raw from crying. He pulled his tail closer to himself. “Builderman thinks I’m a monster, the same guy years ago who would burn down buildings without a second thought, guest.”
Guest stayed silent for a moment then said, “key word, years ago” “Come on, let’s get you out of this bush” Guest said while helping him up. 07 took Guests hand, pulling his legs out from his chest as he carefully stepped out of the thick branches. But the moment his feet touch the ground, his knees buckle.
The exhaustion and lingering hunger made his head spin all over again, and he stumbled forward, his tail flaring out defensively for balance. Guest caught him quickly, making sure he didn't end up passing out. “Easy there, don’t want you passing out on me” Guest muttered, looking over 007n7’s pale face.
007n7 choked a laugh, despite being on the verge of collapsing. “Passing out sounds great right now” 007n7 murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. Guest just shook his head slightly, keeping a firm grip on 007n7 to keep him upright. “Yeah, well, don’t do it here. Let’s get you to my cabin, so builderman doesn’t go looking for a fight.” Guest said in a slightly humorous tone. 07 subtly nodded, his tail low but swaying softly.
Guest kept a supportive arm around him as they slowly started walking away from the bush. Every step felt like a massive chore to 007n7, his boots dragging slightly against the dirt path. His words becoming slightly slurred. He kept his eyes locked on the ground, his tail twitching anxiously whenever the wind rustled the nearby trees.
It didn't take long to reach the door, and the moment Guest unlocked it and pushed it open, 07 practically stumbled inside. The warmth of the room hit his pale face, but it didn't do much to stop his shivering. Guest closed the door behind them, the solid click of the lock sounding like the safest thing 07 had heard all night. Without a word, 07’s exhaustion finally took over, he collapsed on the couch, snoring softly.
Guest let out a long tired sigh as he sat on his bed, just as he was about to fall asleep when he heard a heavy knock at his door. Guest didn’t even need to open the door to know who it was
