Chapter Text
Good soldiers follow orders. That’s what we do. We follow them without question because that’s what we were made to do—what we were programmed to do. Although, some wonder: “What if this isn’t the right choice? Does blindly following orders really make us good soldiers?”
Good soldiers follow orders, right? Or is that just the chip talking? If you wonder about it too long, you’ll never be heard from again. The Empire has its ways.
Following orders, what could go wrong? A few more brothers dead? You’ve lost so many already, they don’t care. You are a clone, you are expendable. Once you are no longer useful, another will take your place.
Good soldiers follow orders, but do they really? That was never your squad’s strong suit. They’re gone, they left you. They abandoned you to the Empire. Maybe now you’ll finally realize what a good soldier really is.
A good soldier doesn’t blindly follow orders, putting himself or his brothers at risk. A good soldier does what’s best for his brothers. Whether that be disobeying orders, it doesn’t matter.
Good soldiers don’t always follow orders, he’ll follow what’s best for the people he cares for.
