The bustle of the village was enough to make Two Time forget about their worries from yesterday.
It was the start of the week, meaning a ceremony in the Church was gonna take place this morning.
Usually, Two Time wasn't allowed to attend said ceremonies.
It made them feel frustrated and upset just thinking about it so they would avoid that thought.
But this day, Monday, they had some hope that their mentor Amarah could let them come by for the first time in a long while.
There were some kids in the farm nearby, getting taught on how to handle herbs or whatever... between Two Time and their thoughts, they found stuff quite boring unless Azure was with them.
He seriously has the superpower to make anything interesting just by looking at it.
Wait, Where was Azure?
Two Time looked left and right, no sign of him.
Suddenly hearing some giggles, they turned around.
"Are you looking for your boyfriend?" A kid said between giggles,
"Don't be so hasty! They're obviously engaaaged~" Their friend said, batting their eyelashes.
"Wuh-?" Two Time stammered "A-azure?"
"See! You even knew who we meant!"
"Trust me~ Its not a secret everyone know-"
How could they even come up to that conclusion!
The church bells suddenly rang, making Two Time sigh.
The two kids who teased Two Time scampered away, running to the Church.
Mentor Amarah was at the doors, waiting for everyone to come inside before she could start anything.
Two Time sprinted over, feeling as if they couldn't avoid asking any longer.
"Mentor, m-may I attend the ceremony today?"
"Be quick." Amarah told them dismissively,
"O-oh-"
They almost couldn't believe their ears, they quickly got inside the church and got hit by a wave of déjà vu.
Its been so long since they stepped inside here, so many years...
And that's when they spotted an arm waving at them happily from the second front row of chairs.
Azure!
Two Time nervously sat in a seat beside him, still a little shook.
"Fancy seeing you here!" Azure said teasingly with a grin.
"Oh, you.." Two Time giggled,
The bells rang again, or it was the chatter between everyone else.
Two Time almost forgot how loud it could get...they were alone all the time, so
"When does it start?" They found themselves asking Azure.
"In a minute or so, no worries" Azure responded.
Finally, Their mentor stood up to the podium to start talking.
Surprisingly enough, it didn't take that much time as they would've thought.
Mentor Amarah reminded everyone to say their prayers and to not forget before they left the Church to go back to their duties.
And in Two Time's case, it would be going to Azure's greenhouse.
With Azure's arm draped around them, they walked there with him.
'I just hope nobody else is inside...' Two Time prayed.
Jinxed it..
They tried their best not to look annoyed over the fact there were some other people inside of the greenhouse doing spawn knows what.
Azure waved over to them as he got inside, gaining their attention.
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" Azure asked.
"Oh, Azure! We were just inspecting these-"
"Get away from them, those are poisonous-" Azure said at once.
The 3 other people stood at once, obviously embarrassed and making up some other excuses to have to leave.
'finally..' Two Time thought, looking away so Azure wouldn't see them rolling their eyes.
Everyone else in the village weren't like Azure, they weren't careful and caring like him.
Oh.. whatever.
"You good?" He asked, making their train of thought stop.
"Um...yeah"
"Cool, come closer and look at what I'm growing!"
