Chapter Text
Green melted slowly, the pink goo spreading across the floor. It made Red sick to look at, so he turned his head toward Purple.
Oh, he forgot. He rushed to her side, turning her off her face. That looks bad.
Her whole visor was cracked, pieces of glass chipping away at the slightest movements. He started to pick her up slowly, walking on the slick floor, careful to not slip.
While he carried her through the cafeteria, he thought about how much had changed over the past week. While he was grateful that he and Purple were getting along better, what had brought them to it was something he wished he could take back. Too many lives were lost to get to this point.
She turned over a bit, pulling Red’s attention back to her unconscious form. He needed to hurry up and get her to Medbay before she rolled too much and ended up on the floor. Once he reached Medbay, he set her down onto one of the closest cots and rushed to find something to help with her visor situation. After rummaging through the drawers, (which were very organized, kudos to blue), the only thing he found was glue. “This is going to take a while.” M —-
She woke slowly, the bright lights making her vision blurry.
Wait, no. Something else was.
She waited for her vision to adjust, the blur to fade away, but it never did. Slowly, she started to panic.
“Red?” Her voice cracked.
“Purple! You’re awake!” A blob of color entered her vision.
“What happened?” She turned her head, trying to make out the room they were in, to no avail.
“Welp, I’m sure you remember the fight with Green and everything. He kind of threw you too the ground and your visor cracked. A lot.” He chuckled breathily, face falling. “I wanted to fix it, or at least try, but I only have glue and I don’t want to mess it up even more.”
She stayed silent for a few minutes.
“You okay, Purps?”
Her eyes started to water, and she started asking herself why she was even trying. “I’m sorry. I ruined this. Everyone except us are just dead, and I didn’t help at all.“
