Today was the day the members were meant to record the choreo for TNT, meaning they had to get up early to head to the company. James is awaken to soft kisses being laid on his neck, he slowly opens his eyes to meet the gaze of Juhoon who could only smile, the sunlight beams falling on the Alpha's messy chocolate-brown hair, making him look breathless for someone who just woke up.
James would have enjoyed the view if they didn't have such a schedule set for just today
"G'morning baby", Juhoon says in his raspy morning voice, planting another kiss into his neck as his hand grips at his waist, massaging his omega's soft skin. James purrs at this feeling, subconsciously grinding slowly unto the alpha out of regular instinct, Juhoon groans "Good morning, Jju", James answers with a soft smile
Juhoon slowly releases his scent, holding James firm in place "Are you trying to drive me crazy?", Juhoon whispers into the older's ear, making James let out a whimper, the scent starting to make him fuzzy as his body gets heated up. He would have probably pliantly given in (well probably not with the situation at hand, he hasn't even told them about the baby yet) until another arm swats at Juhoon's hand
"Juhoon, you horndog! Let him go, we have a lot to do today", Martin whines, yawning and stretching his body as he sits up right "The manager might arrive anytime soon" gaze locked at Juhoon, who only rolled his eyes "Fine" as he lets go of the omega, stopping his scent from spreading further.
Martin looks down at James's flushed face and leans in to peck the older's cheek "Good morning pretty, how was your sleep?" James gives a small smile "It was good". Martin stands from the bed "Come on, we need to get ready" He glances at his phone on the nightstand to read the time "it's already 9, we need to leave before 10:30"
"Dips on the shower first!", Juhoon gets up suddenly, bolting to the door swinging it open. "Not if i get there first!", Martin retorts as he follows right behind him to the hallway to the bathroom door, which is locked when they tried to open.
"Stop trying!, I'm already in here", Keonho shouts from the shower, making the other two groan. "Not my fault you alphas like to sleep a lot, even Seonghyeon refused to wake up", The beta added before focusing back on washing his body. James laughs at the commotion happening as he sits up right, being immediately hit with a throbbing headache which was weird because he was doing just fine seconds prior.
"oh shit", He stands up making way to the kitchen to get something to eat, passing by the alphas that stood in front of the bathroom door. He opens the fridge to check what's available 'mashed potatoes and bananas?' He thinks to himself, sounds yummy. He pulls out the leftover mashed potatoes and fresh bananas from the fridge, getting a bowl from the cupboard to mix the contents into it.
James grabs a spoon to eat his creation loving the foreign taste, genuinely unaware of the other presence in the room "Frozen mashed potatoes and banana? Really?" Juhoon breaks the silence making James jump a little "oh dear, you startled me and i love eating okay?", James rolls his eyes as he continues eating the concoction he mixed up.
"You keep having so many weird cravings lately, Not that I'm against it or-"
"I can't have personal preferences anymore?", James cuts whatever thing Juhoon was probably thinking, not that it was too far off from the truth.
"You know that's not what i meant baby"
"It's fine, Just leave me alone for now", James concludes with irritation ridden in his voice
Juhoon is taken aback, James isn't the type to get easily offended especially whenever they slightly bickered 'What's with the mood swings now?, we were just laughing not too long ago' Juhoon thinks to himself before sighing "Okay, I'll go get ready then. See you at practice", Juhoon awkwardly replies before retreating back into the hallway.
James furrows his eyebrows after a while 'Why did he act so bratty, Juhoon didn't even mean any harm?", He clutches his head in frustration at the unbearable pain he felt 'my mood swings are becoming obvious, i can't act like this all through' James finishes the food & puts the bowl in the sink to be washed when he comes back probably. But right now, he needs pain relief meds and knows just where to get it.
He opens the door to Seonghyeon & Keonho's shared room, to meet Keonho dressing by his bed side and Seonghyeon roaming around to gather his essentials while brushing his teeth. The both pause to look at the older who stood by the door
"Yes Hyung? you need something?", Keonho asks as he finally wears his T-shirt
"Uh yeah, Could i borrow some of your pain meds? i have a headache"
"You sure?", Keonho raises a brow "my Beta's medication may not have the same effect on an omega, yknow?"
"I know, Just something to last me throughout today before i head to the clinic to get some more", James says, Keonho nods before pointing at the dresser that's in close range with the older, who turns to see the pill bottle, muttering a small "thank you" as he grabs it.
"Anytime Hyung, See you later at practice!", Keonho smiles lightly as he watches the older close the door, Seonghyeon spits in his cup "You barely ever take your meds though?", Seonghyeon remarks. Keonho rolls his eyes "I barely have a scent Sean, beta's don't really fall ill. so i don't need to take them a lot" He deadpans, unfazed by his boyfriend's tease.
"Just start taking them, Prevention is better than a cure"
"Yeah yeah whatever, at least I'm not being gross by spitting into a cup", Keonho teases
"But you love me regardless", Seonghyeon smirks seeing Keonho gag
"Stop being all lovey now, we have practice soon", Keonho dismisses the alpha who was getting ready to go have a shower.
"Everyone" Martin shouts from the living room "We are to leave in 30 minutes, Manger-min is almost here" the others scramble get ready instantly, rushing through the bathrooms, grabbing their bags as they sped up to meet the time before they had to leave

They arrived at the dance studio to start off with the day's work, the members were practicing beforehand to analyze the choreo & fix the errors before the final cut is uploaded to the internet for the fans to see. They changed into the outfits that the stylists had prepared for them, casuals but still felt like them , their brand.
"Alright boys focus, we need to get this right once and for all", The choreographer yelled "From the top!". The boys immediately got into positions, starting off strong and rhythmic as their song boomed through the speakers.
The female choreographer watched the members closely in search for those errors from the side of the room, the members were doing good expect strangely..... James? , who seemed to be lagging further behind executing the moves a lot weaker than usual. What's gotten into him?
Something was clearly wrong, her alpha instinct just told her.
"Stop!", she asserted as she signaled to her assistant to pause the music, the boys look in confusion as they take breathe while the sweat drops down their forehead. The choreographer points at James "You" Making the other members turn to face the aforementioned.
"Me?", James points at himself, confusion crept on his face 'Did I mess up?'
The lady's voice cuts his thoughts "Yes you, what's the matter? Why do you keep on falling flat before you execute your moves completely?", the other members remain puzzled, James is never the type to falter any of their choreos.
"Yknow we have a deadline to meet, the company CEO would be on my neck if this choreo isn't perfected by today, are you sure you are okay? You usually get this part right"
"Truthfully, I have been having migraines as of recent", James admits "I took some pain relief but it doesn't seem to get any better" He doesn't need to look up as both his boyfriends faces are consumed with worry
The lady's demeanor changes to that of pure understanding, Omega's tend to fall ill a lot easier so things like this were totally expected
"Do you need to go to the clinic then? Or would you want me to talk to the com-"
"No worries!", James says abruptly which is unlike him "I'll be fine, I want to continue"
The lady raises a brow "You sure?"
"Yes ma'am", James forges a small smile, the lady shrugs and turns back to her assistant "Again!". The boys heard that and got into formation, ensuring to make it look like the perfect Cortis choreo 'Fun & teen-free spirit' giving it their absolute all.
James also gave his 100% percent while ignoring all the warning signs, his body heated up, his head throbbing from pain & the undigested earlier food stirring in his stomach, he had a literal fever
He felt like vomiting, his body was in so much pain. He held a little longer till the music ended before he collapsed to the floor and began vomiting, making the room gasp at the sudden thud
"James, are you okay?", Martin points out alarmed, immediately coming to help James by rubbing his back. Juhoon came immediately after to crouch down beside the older and feels his neck "he's running a temperature"
"Oh my, James!", the choreographer signaling to the cameraman to stop recording, which he does. She then goes to the blonde omega, who is being comforted by the two younger alphas as he coughed out the vomit "James, should I take you to the clinic?" James shakes his head in protest.
"I don't w-want to", James cries, clutching his stomach in pain
"You clearly aren't okay, look I'll go ask the clinic myself", She says before looking at the younger two members "Stay with him & make sure he doesn't try to leave", which they both nod before the lady leaves immediately.
The remaining staff in the room bid their apologies to the blonde before exiting to give them space. Keonho and Seonghyeon step forward, showing sympathy to their poor hyung who looked weak and soaked in a pool of his own vomit
"I'll go get him new clothes to change to", Keonho suggests to them, Martin nods immediately.
"Yes please, Sean should follow you to check for a bottle of water if he can find any for the meds for him to swallow", Juhoon says, Seonghyeon nodding affirmingly.
The beta & alpha leave to go do what they were assigned to, leaving just the 3 lovers all alone. James's head was rested on Juhoon's shoulder while Martin rubbed at his tummy, a mild but very appreciated attempt at soothing the pain.
"How did you fall ill so quickly? You were just fine just this morning", Juhoon says to no one in particular, James doesn't respond as the fever he had was eating him as a whole.
"This isn't the first time you've vomited too, constant headaches, stomach aches", Martin adds "Jamie, are you sure there isn't an issue with your heat cycle or something?", Martin asks, James doesn't know whether to tell them now that they were alone & had the floor to themselves.
This is his chance
"Well, actually i-"
"We are back! ", Keonho shouts as he bursts open the door, with Seonghyeon right behind him "We got the clothes along with the water"
Maybe not
"Thank you Keonho", Juhoon says, collecting the items "Let's clean him up before she comes back", Martin nods, already helping to remove the vomit tainted shirt James was wearing. The younger two members looked the other way out of respect whilst monitoring the door for any sudden entry.
Juhoon was helping change the older's shorts, he couldn't help but notice how the blonde's stomach looks a little bit bigger. Not that the omega was sickly thin but his toned abs was slowly fading into a.... bump?
'No, you dimwit', he thinks to himself, pulling the shorts up to the older's hips 'it's probably caused by stress eating, James loves food' Juhoon reassures his consciousness 'but he hasn't seen his heat in 2 months now, don't tell me...'
"Y'all can look now", Martin interrupts his trail of thoughts, the other two members turn back around to listen "When she gets back, we will take the meds and take a break at the dorms as soon as possible"
James's eyes were fighting sleep, trying to keep them open to listen to what the alpha was saying unsuccessfully before he closed them & drifted off to sleep.

8pm
James woke up to the feeling of comfortable clothes and a soft cushioning, his eyes open fully to grasp where he was 'in the dorm?'. He must have literally knocked out mid-hearing of listening to his boyfriend speak, he slowly sat up, groaning at an unpleasant pain in his head that wasn't too bad as before. He felt a little bit better actually
The door opens at that perfect moment with Martin stepping in inside, before briefly pausing as he turns to yell "He's awake!". He watches as Martin moves closer towards the bed to sit, the other members filing in shortly after.
"Hyung, how are you feeling?", Keonho says as he goes directly to hug the older, who on a normal day would have yelled at him but surprisingly let him get his hug.
"A lot better actually, sorry about earlier today"
"No need to apologize! You aren't feeling too well and we understand", Seonghyeon says from the passage.
"What happened after I passed out? ", James ask, feeling guilty his members had to worry for him
"Well, the lady ended up coming back after Martin was done with his elaborate speech" Juhoon explains earning an eye roll from Martin "She brought along food too but since you slept off, we decided to wait till you woke up to take it with your medicine"
Juhoon steps inside fully with a tray containing the food & the pill bottle, "was gonna probably wake you up to eat myself if you didn't do it sooner" Juhoon steps forward to place it beside James's body.
"Aw, thank you guys so much", James expresses before eating out of the food put before him. The others watching him in silence with pure admiration as he finishes up his meal almost immediately, taking his medicine with the water provided.
"Good that you're okay now, Sean and i would be leaving now"
"We? who's w-"
"Yes WE", Keonho re-affirms, Seonghyeon scoffs "we need to let hyung rest, let's go", Keonho carries the tray off the older's lap and gets up from the bed "Rest well hyung, see you tomorrow", Keonho says to the blonde before dragging his boyfriend out of the room, leaving the remaining three there.
"Typical lovers, am i right?", Martin says making the other two giggle
"They sure are random", Juhoon responds before turning his attention back at the blonde omega "Is there anything you need baby?"
"Umm, probably a tissue to clean my mouth please", James says
Juhoon heads out of the room towards the bathroom to grab the tissue that's usually on the sink top, just to find it hadn't been refilled. He begins searching through the drawers instead for an alternative like wipes or a handkerchief, the first few didn't have those so he went to the last drawer down which belonged to James.
He rummaged about to check on for any wipe or anything of that sort, he stretches his hand towards the back to the drawer to only feel something hard from his touch. He grips it absentmindedly thinking it was a tongue cleaner, which is strange because it would have been kept in the cup on the sink. He brings the plastic strange object out to see what it was
'What?' Juhoon eyes widen, A positive pregnancy test?! why was is in James's drawer, is he? it can't be anyone else's, can it?. Male Alphas don't get pregnant, Betas is a 50% chance but Keonho would have said something by now, which means the positive test in his grasp did belong to James.
Why didn't he tell us?
Juhoon forgot about the tissue as he immediately walks back to his shared room with his lovers, upon entering he meets Martin sitting at the bed side close to James, ruffling his hair
"Juhoon, you're back, where's the tissue?", Martin asks, who was left unanswered as Juhoon had an unreadable gaze directed at the omega. Martin raises a brow in confusion "Jju, what's wrong?"
Juhoon closes the door behind him, walking closer to the two but his gaze still locked on James. He slowly brings out the pregnancy test into view, making Martin's eyes widen as he saw the two positive red lines. James on the other hand had the color drained from his face, a look of pure terror
"Explain", Juhoon says in a monotone voice, completely void of any emotion. The two alphas are now focused on him, waiting for an explanation
okay, maybe he overestimated Future James a little too much.
