Asriel was a normal college boy living a normal life, he made friends, people and monsters alike like him because of his good nature personality. Life was always rough but Asriel persisted and survived it.

Asriel loves his friend, he loves his family, he loves his little sibling and he loves life, he thought that his life would go normally like the usual teenager life.

He didn’t expect that the world seems to disagree with that sentiment.

The world has been hit with an unknown problem or possible calamity, the world light has become dimmer than usual, dark clouds covered the sky without any gaps nor give the world a glimpse of light. The Government has been doing anything within their power to solve the case of the cloud.

But no matter what they do the clouds never cease.
Scientists tried to study the phenomenon with no result has been seen so far.
They're confused and agitated by the phenomenal.

Priests and god believers continue to preach their gospel, shouting about the end of the world and how the angel was mad. Many started to convert while others had conflicted emotions about it.
Many thoughts that maybe the religion was right and that the end is near, that the roaring will happen anytime soon.

Some people didn't believe it, saying that 'maybe the sun is just going to explode anytime soon' which offended some of the believers.

In another place, scientists finally discovered negative light, or point darker than dark which shakes both scientists and the religious world.

Asriel trembled, reading the screen of his phone with agitation on his eyes, he found all this event concerning because why out of all days does the roaring start when he just entered adulthood and in college.
Thinking about how the world is going to end really made him sad.

Especially knowing that Kris won't be experiencing adulthood anytime soon with the other, especially when he just found a friend that has helped him move on from his trauma. And especially when he just started to think that maybe.. Maybe the world wasn't so bad at all.

He tries to shrug it off and think that maybe the weather was just bad, or there was a strange phenomenon that happened once in a lifetime. And everything was going to be fine. It's certainly not the sun exploding and not for angel sake.. A roaring.

But the thing is, this phenomenon has been going on for months. Hell, even the scientists discovered that even above the clouds the sun was dimmer than usual, and that the earth's temperature will drop more and more each day.

With the umpteenth time that day Asriel let out a heavy sigh.

"Who am I kidding, of course a nerd like you read that thing too" Asriel nearly jumped and shrieked by the sudden voices came from behind him, he almost, 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 hit the cause of the problem.

But unfortunately or fortunately, he did not over react and hit them. "CHARA!!." Asriel shouted.

"Yes?" The human called 'Chara' merely smiled, their red eyes pierced asriel mockingly.

"I told you many times not to scare me like that! "He protested, hitting their shoulder with minimal strength and whined.

"I'm not scaring you, you're just jumpy for no reason. " They shrugged with a laugh, slapping his hands on their shoulder away. "You should be braver, didn't you say you're the 'God of Hyper Death' or sum?"

"I-.. You!!.. You know what?? Never mind that!." Asriel rubbed his head in frustration and slumped his shoulder in defeat. He never has any good retort back to chara teasing about his game account name.

Evading their attempt at rage bait, he asked a question."Why are you here anyway?. "

"Frisk told me to tell you that they're going to be late on our usual hang out today. "Looking at the fact that chara was unusually alone, he nodded in understanding.

Frisk and Chara have been his roommate long enough that he knows about their behavior, Frisk would often wander around doing Frisk things and would send Chara to tell him their phone died or they didn't bring any short of communication device to tell asriel that they're going to be late.

While chara wasn't the type to like wandering around too much, but has to keep an eye to Frisk, they won't leave frisk alone unless frisk is on their friend house or a safe place where they promise they won't go anywhere, they also send Chara away when they wanted to talk about something important alone without them.

He knows how hurt Chara feels about that, but he also knows that Chara understands that they can't supervise Frisk for the rest of their life.

"Their phone died? ". He guessed

"Their phone died," grinned Chara.

"Okay.."

"Also look at this, I saw this video that might interest you " without asking, they sat on Asriel’s bed in their shared dorms and showed him the video on their phone.

Asriel reluctantly watched it, squinting slightly because of the distance.

Someone is holding a knife, the reflection of the room gleamed on the reflections, there were no sounds, no nearby bird, no nearby insect, nothing. Not even a sound of a heartbeat could be heard.

And then they stabbed the ground with the knife, suddenly it became loud, loud enough to be ear-piercing, it sounded like a cry of pain. Everything became bright and something gushed out of the ground. A huge dark river-like thing appeared, and before anyone could proceed anything, a symbol of DELTARUNE appeared for a brief millisecond.

And dissipating, everything turns all to normal. There lays a slightly broken knife and impact gaping open wood on the ground.

"Interesting right? " grinned Chara, Asriel dazedly looked at the blank screen before snapping out. "Wait, give me that! "

Hastily, Asriel takes their phones without hearing their answer, ignoring their shout of 'hey! ', Asriel replayed the video over and over again. "There!. Isn't that a symbol of DELTARUNE?!"

He forcefully showed the owner of the phone. "Ugh, yes I see it. Why are you so pressed about it anyways?."

"Because this entire video looked like what If the fountain truly opened!!. " He looked pale. "Oh my angel!!, the roaring will come!!, it's not bad weather or a new phenomenon!! It's roaring!!! We are all doomed!!!"

Chara watched as Asriel started to prance around the room mumbling and acting agitated. "FORGET COLLEGE!, I'M GOING HOME!!"

He halted on his step when he bumped into Chara. "Woah, calm down goat boy. As much fun is it to see you panic, you never know if the video is fake or not. "

They patted his shoulder bringing him down to sit. "Besides, remember, with artificial intelligence being advanced these days, this video is probably just AI."

That made him calm down a little.

"I... I'm still going to call my mom. "

"Mama’s boy" they said with a snort.

"What?! "

"Nothing~.".

Not even able to touch the dial, Suddenly a bang echoed as Frisk frantically entered inside urgently.

" GUYS! " they shouted, making both of their roommates jump.

"GUYS LOOK OUTSIDE!" Frisk shouted in panic, they hurriedly opened their tire and the window.

"What happened?! Oh my angel, this day is going to give me anuerysm." Asriel followed Frisk hurriedly.

"It's unusual for you to panic, what happened- oh holyshit.. What the fuck is that? "

Inside a towering building, there stood a conference between high ranking people discussing the strange phenomenon.

"If this continues, plants will stop growing because of the lack of sunlight! " A cat monster said with concern.

"The public has gone astray and chaos erupted because of this unknown phenomenon!! " A middle-aged man expressed his opinion with a heated tone.

"I told you the angel was angry because of the lack of faith directed at them! " An owl monster preached with an angry and disappointed tone.

"No one believed that angel bullshit!! We just need to take care of the clouds that cover the skies and our crisis will be over! " Argued the man to the monster believer.

"And how would you do that?? We already tried everything we can and yet those damn clouds won't dissipate at all! " Not afraid of losing, the owl retorted back angrily.

"Enough! "Unable to bear the chaos and argument between the nonbeliever and believer in his offices, Mr. The president demanded silence.

The entire office immediately bent to his will and stopped their argument.

"As our chief scientist stated, clearing the cloud may be our cure to stop this phenomenon. " hearing that the chief scientist looked smug, while the high priest gritted his teeth.

"But our high priest is right, we already did everything in our power to try to dissipate the cloud but nothing worked." This time, the high priest gave a smug grin at that.

"In conclusion both of you were right, and we need to find a way to stop this as fast as possible because of how-"

Before the president could continue, a loud bang echoed followed by blinding lights. Putting The conference in a panic.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? "

"THE ANGEL IS MAD! FORGIVE ME LORD!! I SWEAR ON OUR FATHER’S NAME THAT I HAVE NOT SINNED! "

Many curses and prayers erupted throughout the room.

The blinding light stopped in a minute, but for them it felt like hours.

"What just happened? "The president asked, head hurting because of the sudden blinding light.
He looked around and saw how both the head priest and scientist looked in disbelief at the sky.

" Mr. President, look at the sky.." His assistant told him, and he simply just did that, gazing out of the window to see whatever was outside that stole the attention of everyone in the conference.

His jaw dropped as he saw.

Toriel was buying some medicine that red big mouth prescripted for a human fever, she encountered Rudy going on his usual check up.

"Oh Rudy! " she called him, which made him turn to her.

"Hohoho look who's here!!, the festival queen champion 10 years in a row! " he greeted her with a good old fashioned teasing, before bursting with a cough.

Toriel immediately helped him sit down and gave him water for his cough, "I told you not to call me that anymore, besides, look at you! Forcing yourself so much!."

"Ha ha ha. Stop nagging me you know I already get it from Carol everyday"

"Well maybe I will stop if you get better."

"M, glad you will stop nagging me tomorrow morning!"

"I may stop nagging you but Carol won't."

"Well tickle my feet and do call me pete, that wont change anything soon huh?"

She just glared at him, before letting out a small sigh, which Rudy laughed at her for before the next round of cough followed. "Anyhow, why are you here? Did Krismas get sick again?"

"Well yes, they have been showing very concerning behavior recently." She thought about how they walk like they're in pain, their lack of appetite that was already small became dangerously low and how they have been sleeping a lot recently.

"I checked on them this morning, and it turns out they have a fever. So I decided to buy some medicine for them." She sighed, "Angel knows how worried I was for them since the incident. They're sleeping soundly right now." Rudy listened carefully and showed concern for Kris too.

"Well worry not, our Ms. Red big mouth over here is a master of her craft. " He comforted her. " Just one sip of the medicine Krismas will be better in no time! "

" Thanks Rudy. I appreciate it." Smiled Toriel, the weight on her shoulder has been lifted a little.

"No problems Tori." He softened up, giving her his signature grin.

"By the way.. Anyhow, did Carol have a plan to put a huge hologram to the point all of the hometown residents could see it?"

"What?.."

Rudy looked where Toriel was pointing and holy moly. There was a huge jet black screen in the sky with DELTARUNE symbols.

In the darkest of worlds, a little prince curiously looked over at the hologram that appeared in front of him, he was curious yet he could feel something was wrong.

This wasn't supposed to happen, the prophecy didn't mention any of it and he was scared. Scared of change and scared of unfamiliarity that strayed far from the prophecy.

Lancer looked up at the sky next to his dad and asked "What is that?"

The King of Spades looked disgruntled but he was also filled with uncertainty, but not wanting to embarrass himself in front of his son, he grumpily replied. "Nonsense."

"Ohohoho! I want to watch the nonsense!"

"Do whatever you like."

"I too Wish'e to watch'e thee nonsense my king'e " The King of Spades groaned hearing or finding the presence of his so-called second hand.

In the dark of a jailcell, a devil grinned, amused. its eyes crazed with chaos as it looked at the screen. "Oh oh!!! Angel has finally appeared!! Chaos chaos soon followed in its footsteps!! I cannot wait!! wait!!"

The back alley dumpster where a shady-looking man hunched and hid looked at the screen with disbelief. " [ANG3L] 1S TH4T Y0U [?!]"

The man looked hopeful yet his eyes filled with greed and agitation, looking at the screen so intently like he was trying to absorb every content inside of it.

In a luxurious mansion a Queen looked amusedly at the sky where the black screen resides. "Ho!, I never knew we had this kind of theatre. But I did not complain! " she laughed joyfully before throwing her glasses cup on the ground.

Her dedicated butler ever so reliably gives her another glass of battery acid while the swatchlings clean her mess.

"I wonder what kind of show it presents?"

"Mystery is always something that thrill seekers appreciate, don't you also find the appeal in it, my Queen? "

"Lmao.. No. I only like mobile games. " the Queen laughed yet again gleefully.

"Dum dee dum.. Today's weather is wonderful, isn't it Flowery? " Asked a gentle voice whilst his hands water the yellow flower carefully. The background noise of his favourite cowboy tv show was clear, today's episode of the show was one of his favourite episodes to rewatch.

Asgore was just tending his beloved seven flowers when suddenly the cowboy shows he put on to listen suddenly stopped. He turned around to see in confusion as his television glitched and showed a black screen with DELTARUNE symbols on it, but he didn't find any of it strange and just smiled.

"Oh wonderful, are we going to get a new episode of our Cowboy show? "

The flower seems to share his enthusiasm seeing how Asgore is happy, as it trembles slightly. Asgore puts down his watering can and smiles at his flower. "Seems we are both excited about it! The more the merrier. Isn't that right, old buddy?"

Susie couldn't care less about anything, she also doesn't give any damn about the screen in the sky and continues to eat the Apple she stole from Alphys’s desk. There isn't anyone around to stop her, even the red eyed freak who always stays late in class because their asses kept sleeping on it.

Yeah, it was kind of weird not to have the freak around, but who cares.

And when the black screen showed on the sky, she snorted when the others freaked out. She heard from monster kid that the screen was probably Noelle mom's plan to livestream something while the internet was down.

'How kind.' She rolled her eyes, taking another bite from her apple before deciding to steal the chalk for snack later.

Well hopefully the show is good enough for her to watch, or she might die of boredom.

Noelle was confused when she looked at the sky, she turned around to see her mom who stopped mid bite from her food. She was on the same boat as Noelle with the confusion but still remained stern.

She looked at the black screen in the sky with a furrowed brow.

"Mom? Did you do this?" She asked curiously.

"...." Her mom was silently chewing on her food before answering her. "No. "

Her tone was flat, but Noelle knew she wouldn't lie about something like this. "Huh? .. You didn't? "

"Noelle."

"Y-Yes??? "

"It's nice to eat with you, but," Carol stood up from her chair, seemingly finished with her meal. " I'm going to leave now."

"O-oh... Okay.. I understand."

Noelle looked sadly at her mother's back. She was always like this. Too busy with her work to have time for her, but at the same time she understands that being a mayor was not an easy task. She has her own things to do.. like how… Noelle has Noelle things to do.

Just when her thoughts were getting deeper, her phone beeped.
She looked on her phone and there 'Berdly' appeared on her screen calling her.

When she answered, Berdly didn't waste a second to speak. "My dear Noelle, did you see the black screen on the grey-ish sky?"

"Yeah, I saw that too Berdly."

"Is that your mom’s doing? " An indifferent voice asked, Noelle recognized the voices as Catti.

"Oh..I asked her the same thing, but she doesn't seem to know about any of it." Ignoring the fact that Catti took Berdly’s phone, she answered hesitantly.

"I know it. This is a fault from darkness. " Catti muttered. "Noelle."

"YES!? "

"Be careful.. I can feel it.. Something bad is going to happen" With a cryptic tone the phone call turned off. Leaving Noelle speechless.

The hometown residents were struck by sudden fear, worry, and a mix of emotions, but mainly some of them thought that it was their mayor pulling up a trick on their humble town.

Some of them think about Carol being a kind mayor by putting a huge screen in the sky that would, live stream a show while the internet is down.

"Damn.. I’ve never been so glad to vote for her as a mayor! That’s a true mayor for you!! Ha! " Undyne laughed giddily.

Alphys beside her agreed with her opinion, she shyly expressed her own thoughts.
"S-Same! She was so thoughtful!. L-live long mayor!"

"Live long Mayor Holiday!!"

"Alvin. It seems that the day that your father used to tell us about has arrived." An elderly monster woman crocheted while looking at the screen in the sky.

"You're right, mother. " Alvin nodded thoughtfully. " Although I don't know how my father knew about all this, I do know that all his words cannot be doubted."

She laughed proudly at her husband's achievement. "Hahaha!. Your father is blessed by the angel for all his knowledge!"

Alvin smiled, nodding along to his mother's words.

"I-it started.. "Asriel swallowed the bile that was rising on his throat. He felt sick and yet his heart was beating in anticipation like a ticking bomb.

"What the fuck is that" Chara asked with confusion and disbelief. "Is this some kind of prank?? If yes, I'm going to be very impressed by it."

"Doesn't seem like it.. Usually someone would stop it right now". Frisk answered, looking through their phone. "It's strange that it hasn't been stopped by anyone yet, considering it was shown all across the world."

"W-wait?! What do you mean all across the world? " Both Asriel and Chara were in shock, but Frisk just showed their phone to them.

For some reason only apps like Bluebird were working, any video or recording glitched and showed the exact screen they were seeing in the sky.

News like CORE showed a picture about the sky in many regions, and it seems the black screen appears all over the earth as if showing them the truth of the world.

Or if the hacker was a secret organization all over the world who somehow telepathically agreed to show the same screen or story.

"Wow just wow.... "

"Are you sure this is not the angel being mad at us?"

Carol looked at the sky with trembling hands, she's already tried to find a way to turn off whatever holograms it is on the sky, only to turn out there's nothing to turn it off in the first place,
She was filled with dread about the prophecy screen on top of the sky that was starting to show the future to the whole world.

She gritted her teeth. At this rate everyone would know about her plans, they all would know the truth. About the roaring and about the dark world.

'But she would know if her plan worked or not'. Betrayed by her thoughts she succumbed to the dreadful future.

" [ANG3L]!!! OH [ANG3L] YOU LOOKED SO [50% DISCOUNT OFF]!! " the back alley guy was filled with astonishment, his tiny hands kept trying to reach the screen in hope to take the Soul.
Alas his attempt to reach the screen is the same as his attempt to reach heaven.

He can't reach it no matter what.

As the text disappeared, the red heart followed as if on cue.

The black screen turned into a dark river, the sound became more apparent and more eerie.

A bunch of heads appeared.

"Are we sure this is not a movie?This looked like the beginning of a movie. " a spider monster asked in confusion.

The entire hometown was surprised to see the figure that appeared on the screen, and feel weirded out by the similarity.

"Tori... Maybe it's just a coincidence.. After all, some humans look the same. " Rudy tries to comfort Toriel who looked pale seeing her child look alike from the screen.

"M-maybe are we watching something that Carol made Kris do for a video?.." Toriel agreed and also tried to stay positive.

"Faha! Exactly... You know who Carol is.. She is unpredictable and nothing would get in her way when she is determined. "

"Is that the angel vessel?. It strangely reminds me of Kris "Alvin looked a bit surprised.

"You don't seem to be surprised. "

"Ah. It may be just a hunch, but take my word with a grain of salt, I always believed Kris to have some kind of connection deeper with the angel than any of us. "

Carol looked approvingly as everything worked according to plan, it seems that the angel power was instantaneously worked. With the [MENU] options being displayed so openly were kind of strange.

And that strange world does exist.

He cannot believe his eyes that the strange world would appear on the screen on his tv and on the sky outside.

"Maybe... Maybe if I watched this.. I would know more about that strange world where the incident happened.. "With that in mind, Asgore now watches the screen like a hawk absorbing every information there is and compares it to his research.

You'd think we'd have reached the end by now... “

"Hey Kris. .. “ she turned around, looking at their blank face which did not show any hint of fear or weirdness.

“I think this closet's uh.. . Broken. " She continued, trying to reassure herself that yes, it was the correct conclusion and that the closet was the one that was broken.

"There aren't any walls." She pointed as if trying to prove herself that she is right.

Kris didn't seem to care.

"Well we've worked hard enough.
If Alphys wants chalk so bad she can get it herself. " Susie snorted, dusting her hands and walking deliberately toward the exit.

"Let's split." hissed her.

As they got closer to the closet door, suddenly it snapped shut with a bang.

"Wh-what the...!? "

"Hey this isn't funny! LET US OUT! “ She shouted, banging on the door aggressively. She felt panicked and angry at the prankster who thought it was a good idea to close the door from outside and lock it.

“LET US... " Before she could finish her words, she felt something shaking beneath her feet. To her absolute horror, she saw the paper beneath their feet starting to fall.

"The floor, it’s...! "

They fall, deep down into the darkness.

Though it cannot be called full knight armor by how it missed some vital protections, it was just more like a kid made knight costume where they pretend card boxes were armor.

Slowly, they rose from their lying position into sitting before standing—still looking at the screen creepily without any expressions as if waiting for something. They were all alone without any Susie in sight. .

Now satisfied after looking through their menu, Kris started to advance their adventure in the strange dark world.

The dark world was very strange and quiet, the quiet was overwhelming to the point you could hear a pencil fall to the ground.

The sounds of their footsteps were deafening in this strangely quiet world.
There was a strange looking plant that let out a creepy voice every time Kris walked by.

They walked and walked before they found a strange looking hole on a wall, and they checked it.

[There's something glowing inside.]

[Take it?]

[Yes ❤ No]

[You got the Glowshard.]

[A shimmering shard. Its use is unknown.]

After checking and putting the said shards in their inventory, they explore the area again. It's all the same as before—dark, empty, and only accompanied by a cliff and the same annoying lousy plants.

Another glimmering star appeared in the distance where they approached it yet again.

[For some reason you punished yourself with the spores.
The light relieves you.. . [HP fully restored.]

Next to the stars, there was a dark cliff without any path to be crossed, they noticed a sign nearby and read it for clues.

[In this land, only eyes blinded by darkness can see the way...].

Seemingly knowing the answer, the puzzle was easily solved.

After a long silence of walking they encountered the strange plant again, except this time it was glowing red and shot out a white pellet with the speed of a bullet.

Strangely Kris also glowed with a red heart appearing once again on their chest.

At first they were dodging it well, but because of a misstep, they got hit by one of the bullets. Immediately, an [HP] bar appeared showing their health decreasing from the bullet damage on their forearm.

Blood trickled down on their arms, as the bullets were deep under their skin. Weirdly they don't seem to react with the pain and continue to walk calmly.

"O-oh!!! What!! Did that bullet really damage them?? There's blood on them!!! It looked serious!!”. Toriel shouted worriedly.

"I-I don't know Tori.... This really is as dangerous as you said. "

Asgore gritted his teeth. "As I predicted... That world is as dangerous as I thought. "

He slammed his fist on the wall. "I should quickly find the culprit who made that world and kill them, that world is too dangerous for innocent people to stumble into. "

After a lot of walking and dodging the bullet pattern from the strange plant, Kris encountered the lost Susie hidden inside dust.

Kris saw a dark figure in the distance, and followed it. That seems to lead them to a place with dozens of hills of dust which immediately explode into hundreds of particles upon touching.

They seemed to take their sweet time to destroy the dust, and when they finally approached and destroyed the final mound, Susie appeared inside of it.

"H-hey ! B... back off ! Come any closer and I'll...!!" The startled Susie shouted.

Upon seeing who was in front of her, she seemed to calm down a little. "... K.. . Kris !? Phew..."

"... Hey, don't scare me like that dumbass!" She berated angrily.

" you WANT to get clocked in the face heh."

Feeling awkward about how she didn't get any reaction from them or even any expressions she immediately coughed and changed the subject.

"... Anyways, enough screwing around.
We gotta find a way outta here. " She walked around for a moment, before stopping to look left and right.

"Ummm.. . Where is here anyway...? “ she mumbled, feeling a tad bit intimidated by the unknown.

But she shifts the blame onto Kris immediately. “It doesn't matter ! YOU got us into this mess YOU get us out!"

"Lead the way Kris!"

Oh and they do, it seems they're walking too fast as Susie scolds them angrily from behind.

"Huff... puff.. . What, you wanna make it a race?" Taking their silence for an answer Susie immediately bolted leaving them behind.

When they catch up to her, they see Susie was looking at the top of the cliff where a shadow seemingly waving at them.

"Hey Kris . There's someone up there waving at us.
Any idea what they want...?"

Suddenly...

Spade snapped Bullet frenzy. Thousands of spades rained down from the sky.

"R-Run Kris!" She warned, and bolted straight away leaving them alone.

After they got damaged several times to the point they were bleeding all over, they finally caught up to Susie.

"Kris, down here!" She shouted before sliding down on the cliff. Of course, Kris immediately followed her suit.

"Of course!! There's a spade!!!" Asriel looked angry,

".... Yeah I'm not going to comment on that. Watching someone you know being in danger like that do that to you. "

They reached the bottom of the cliff, and somehow, they were not dead yet.

"Oh you're not dead . Sweet." She said after she saw them approaching.

"Got any idea what the heck this place is?“

More silence, but this time they shake their heads.

In front of them there stood a dark castle looming over a city that looked abandoned.
