Chapter Text
As Azure approached the killer cabin, he heard the voices of John Dough and 1eggs, probably them bickering once again. With a grunt, he threw open the door and slammed it shut behind him, not uncommon as most killers seemed to have less than pleasurable manners.
"Alright listen up guys, we got a cooking competition to prepare for." Azure shouted, making all the killers pipe down in confusion at the unexpected news.
"A cooking competition?" repeated John slowly. "Why on earth would we-"
"Because the Spectre said so." Azure snapped, interrupting John midsentence.
"And how do you know?" asked Cereal Killer, suspicion evident in it's tone.
"Because a little mosquito snuck into my greenhouse." replied Azure, disgusted.
"Oh! You mean that Spawn guy? The one who beat you last round?" asked C00lkid excitedly, bouncing up and down.
"Yeah, how'd you lose big guy?" added Bluudud from where he sat on his gaming chair, reviewing the last couple of matches.
"Isn't it obvious? The twotiming jerk harassed his back until poor Azu had to be teleported back." commented Pr3typrincess smugly, tea cup in one hand, wand in the other.
"All three of you are dead wrong. Now shut up, I don't want to talk about it. Besides we have more important things to do, like preparing for the competition."
Hey Guys I'm Stylish_Tracks I'm Taking over now
Meanwhile at The Survivors' cabin
The upstairs hallway of the safehouse was fully illuminated, the harsh ceiling lights pouring straight through a wide-open bedroom door. Inside, Builderman and Shedletsky were completely oblivious to the brightness, thoroughly wrapped up in an intense, passionate make-out session against the desk. Shed’s hands were tangled tightly in Builds’ hair, pulling him closer as they shared a deep, breathless kiss. The heat between them completely masked the sound of squeaky floorboards outside. Builderman tilted his head to deepen the kiss, his hands gripping Shedletsky’s waist tightly. They parted for a fraction of a second just to catch their breath, only for Shed to pull him right back in, utterly consumed by the moment. That was when Builds’ eyes fluttered open. Over Shed’s shoulder, his gaze locked directly onto the doorway. Standing right there in the bright light, frozen like a deer in headlights, was Chance. Builderman froze instantly, his lips parting from Shedletsky’s as a wave of pure shock washed over his face. Shed blinked, confused by the sudden pause, and began to mumble,
"Mm, Builds what's wrong—?" Before Shedletsky could even turn his head around, Chance snapped out of his trance. He let out a loud gasp, bolted backward into the hallway, and tore down the stairs at full speed.
"Builderman and Shedletsky are fucking!" Chance yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing violently through the entire house. Shed’s face burned with deep embarrassment as the shout reverberated through the walls. Growling in sheer frustration, he reached down, gripped the hilt of his sword, and tore out of the bedroom. He was fully prepared to chase Chance down and shut him up for good. He didn't make it past the stair landing. Shedletsky froze mid-stride, his sword lowering as he stared down into the living room. His jaw dropped slightly at the sight. Down on the couch, Noob and Two Time were practically on top of each other. Two Time, completely unfazed by the sudden commotion or Shed’s weapon, reached out with a smirk. They grabbed the edge of Noob’s sweater, yanked it right off Noob's shoulders, and slid it over their own head. Two Time sat there proudly wearing the stolen oversized knit right in front of everyone, wrapping their arms around themselves to get comfortable.
Noob woke up with a start, snapping into a sitting position and turning his head behind him to look right at Chance in a mix of confusion and panic. Chance blinked, looking between the two on the couch.
"Were you two—"
"No!" Noob interrupted loudly, his face instantly flushing a bright, furious crimson.
"Can't a dude sleep-cuddle with his homie?" By then, Builderman had finally walked down the stairs, trying desperately to adjust his collar and look composed. He crossed his arms, coughing into his fist to break the heavy tension. The shouting had drawn the rest of the survivors out of the woodwork. Footsteps pounded from the adjoining rooms as everyone rushed into the main area, eager to find out what the drama was about. Dusekkar floated into the room, crossing his arms with a stern, tired glare that instantly made Shedletsky step back. Taph peered over Dusekkar's shoulder, who was just staring absolute confusion at the chaos. Nearby, 007n7 leaned against the wall, raising an eyebrow with a highly amused smirk, while Jane Doe stepped into the light, looking back and forth between the flustered survivors upstairs and Noob's missing sweater. Veeronica just shook her head, sighing deeply at the sheer absurdity of her fellow survivors. Before anyone could say a word, the front door swung open. Guest 1337 walked into the room, looking thoroughly exhausted. He rubbed the bridge of his nose, glancing around the packed, chaotic living room.
"Who the hell was screaming just now?"
"Never mind the screaming" a loud, cheerful voice called out from the kitchen. Elliot emerged from the doorway, wearing an apron and carrying a massive, steaming pot of homemade pot roast. The rich, savory scent of meat and vegetables filled the air, momentarily distracting everyone from the romantic drama. Elliot set the heavy pot down on the dining table with a loud thud and pointed a wooden spoon at the gathered group.
"Listen up!" Elliot shouted.
"We have bigger problems than who is seen with who upstairs or whatever! I need all of you to get your baking faces on if we want to beat the Spectre games!" Chance snapped his head toward the kitchen, completely done with the interruptions.
"Shut up, Elliot!" he barked. That single comment ignited a total powder keg.
"Don't tell him to shut up when you're the one screeching like a banshee!" Veeronica yelled back, crossing her arms.
"Oh, as if you wouldn't scream if you saw Shedletsky and Builderman fucking making out?!" Chance defended himself, throwing his hands in the air.
"I'm more concerned about why Noob is shirtless!" Jane Doe piped up, pointing an accusing finger at the couch.
"Why you worryin' about me!" Noob shrieked, his voice cracking as he tried to hide behind a couch pillow while his face burned red.
"No one is worried about you, she'd just wanna know why you're shirtless" 007n7 chuckled, leaning against the wall and thoroughly enjoying the show. Shedletsky slammed the flat of his sword against the banister.
"Can everyone stop talking about who I kiss?!"
"Then stop doing it in broad daylight with the door open!" Dusekkar snapped back, his stern glare shifting from Shedletsky over to Builderman, who was currently trying to evaporate into thin air. As the living room descended into absolute, screaming chaos—with Guest 1337 burying his face in his hands and everyone yelling over each other—two figures quietly slipped out of the line of fire. Taph, who was completely muted and wanted absolutely nothing to do with any of this mind-numbing drama, pointed a finger toward the kitchen. Two Time, still wearing Noob's stolen oversized sweater with their usual insane-screaming smile while also having a small glimpse of a grin, gave Taph a sharp nod. The two of them casually strolled right past the shouting matches, entirely ignored by the bickering crowd.
They walked into the kitchen, grabbed two clean bowls, and happily ladled themselves massive portions of the fresh, steaming pot roast. Taph grabbed a fork and took a blissful bite, completely unbothered by the muffled screaming from the next room. Two Time sat on the kitchen counter, kicking their legs and enjoying their stolen warmth and free food. Back in the dining room, Elliot stood entirely alone by the table. He watched the massive, chaotic argument escalate into a giant circle of pointing fingers, red faces, and dramatic hand gestures. Nobody was listening, nobody was getting their baking faces on, and nobody was preparing for the Spectre games.Elliot looked at the screaming survivors, sighed deeply, and lowered his wooden spoon.
"Well," Elliot said to himself, turning his back on the madness to join Taph and Two Time in the kitchen.
"I tried."
