"Hi, I would like to return a book I checked out," Clover said to the librarian in the main hub world.
"Sure thing," Dylan, the librarian there, said.
Dylan looked at the book and realized it was the same one that one of his friends checked out a few years ago.
"Oh wait, you're on that server Ashley is on, right?" Dylan asked.
"Yep, one of the two admins," Clover said
"I'm going to throw it out there, say, Clover," Dylan said
"Yep, got it in one," Clover replied
"Dylan," he said, holding out his hand.
"Hi, Dylan," Clover said, shaking his hand.
"Having a Jackson situation, I’m assuming," Dylan said
"Yeah, how did you know?" Clover responded
"You literally checked out a book all about him," Dylan said
"Oh yeah, I guess I did, but it wasn’t for me; it was for one of my other server members that's taking care of him," Clover said
"Alright, it's just him, right? That's what Frost told me, at least," Dylan asked.
"Yeah, no extra other person inside his body for once," Clover said
"Well, if you need any help, let me know. Alright, I will see what I can do," Dylan said
"Thank you. Dylan," Clover said
Two other people walk in: a girl with sheep ears and a half zombie, half human. They both come over, and Dylan says
"Oh, those are my friends. I will get this book checked in for you. Thanks, Clover, for the chat," Dylan said
"No problem. Have fun with your friends. Bye, Dylan." Clover said
Clover then leaves and heads back to their own server, but what they didn’t see was the weird shadowy figure following them back through the portal.
A lot of the server is together, just chilling and chatting with each other.
"So how's that new guest doing, Clover?" Mace asked
"Oh, his name is Jackson; he’s doing good, don’t worry," Clover said
"Well, well, well, if it isn’t the little admin that saw me earlier," Carter said
"Carter," Ashley said
"Oh, well hello, Ashley. Long time no see; it has been a minute," Carter said
"Oh, shut up, dude. What do you want?" Ashley said
"Oh, I think you know," Carter said
"Really not happening again, at least," Ashley said
"Like you have any say in this, Ashley? The only two that do are Clover and Chalooby. Yeah, I know who you two are. I did my research; that’s why I followed you back here from returning a book to the library," Carter said
"Wait, you followed me here, " Clover said
"Yep," Carter said
"Now, where is Jackson?" Carter adds
"Wait, who are you and why do you want Jackson?" Aimmee asked
Carter scoffed at the group around. "That is none of your business, Aimmee, and if you really want to know, ask Ashley; she knows more about me than anyone, apparently, and Jackson too."
"You little bitch" Ashley said
"Oh, did I just make you mad? Great, that’s exactly what I wanted?"
"Now let’s have some fun, shall we"
"Not happening, Carter," Frost said, appearing.
"Well, well, hello, Frost, just the person I was waiting for. You know I expected to see Jackson with you as well"
"Nah, he’s busy," Frost said
"Silly, silly, Frost. You really think you can deal with me." Carter said with a sly expression
"Yeah, I know I can’t; no one can fully get rid of you except for him."
"Ding ding ding, you would be correct."
"Guess I just got to distract you until you get bored and leave," Frost said
"Hey Jackson, so I have a question for you," Sly asks
"Hmm, what’s up, Sly?" Jackson answers
"So why does no one know anything about you and Frost and how you two met and all that?" Sly asks
"Wait, you don’t know that bitch Frost redacted it, I guess. Well, both of us are admins, or well, I was; Frost took my admin powers away when he took control."
"Oh, so that’s how you two know each other," Sly says
"Yep," Jackson said
. Sly then realizes what he just said and asks, "Wait, Frost can do that"
"Yeah, he can. It’s kind of a whole thing," Jackson said
"Does Carter know that?" Sly asks
"Uh, I don’t know. Maybe, why?" Jackson answers, curious
"Well, if I were Carter, I don’t know; I would maybe try to possess the one person with the powers to take away other admins' powers, hmm," Sly said
"Oh shit, now that I think about it, he definitely knows because I remember telling him." Jackson said
"He’s probably going after Frost then. Oh shit" Sly said
Frost also comes to the same realization and decides
"Crap. Alright, I guess I should probably give Jackson back his admin powers. I think now would be a really good idea to do that," Frost says to himself, dodging a shadowy projectile from Carter
Frost then snaps his fingers twice, and his hand glows blue for a second, and then it goes away
"What did you just do?" Carter said, confused
"That’s none of your business, Carter," Frost said
Jackson then notices a simi familiar chill throughout his entire body
"Hmm, did you"
"What?" Sly says confused
"Oh, I think Frost just gave me back my powers. Hmm, I wonder if he did," Jackson answers.
Jackson then puts his hands together, and his hands glow, and he opens them and sees a ball of shadows swirling around. He then snaps his fingers on the hand that wasn’t holding the ball, and the ball disappears.
"He did ok"
"One more thing: Frost redacted from that book. I also was a part of the other group with Frost," Jackson said, and he disappears into the shadows of the room.
Jackson then appears in the shadows of the branches of a tree very close to where Frost and Carter are
"I could just," Jackson thinks, summoning a blade made of the shadows he controls
He then notices a dark spot right behind Carter.
"Perfect," Jackson thinks, and goes back into the shadows and appears behind Carter.
"You know I’m finally done with you, so be gone for good," Jackson said, stabbing Carter with the shadow blade.
"You bitch, you think that will kill me?" Carter said, mocking him
But Jackson isn’t taking it anymore, and instead his hand and the sword start glowing brown, and Carter says, "You wouldn’t"
"Yes, I would, and I can, so shut the heck up and delete already," Jackson said
"How you never told me you could do that."
"Because I figured you would have figured it out. I had the nickname coder and all you know"
"You bitch" Carter said, finally dissolving into a fine black powder
"That's it," Frost said, visibly tired
"Yeah, that’s it. Since he was a Full virus in that form, I just destroyed his code, and it deleted him from existence," Jackson said
You two did it, " Clover said, appearing in front of the duo
"Alright, you better not be adapting Frost's habit of doing that, Clover," Jackson said
"You know it’s good to have you back in the right headspace, coder," Frost said, using his friend's nickname for the first time since he was corrupted
"I’m glad to be as well, thanks, Frost, but seriously, Clover, I mean it," Coder said
"Sorry, my bad," Clover said
"Also, if you're up for it, Coder, I think I have a project you might be interested in being involved in," Frost said, looking at Coder.
"Oh, what is it"
"Well," Frost said, trailing off
