Rin arrived at home later than usually, since he stopped to buy a popsicle and more bandaids on the way, he saw a cat too.
He kicked his shoes off and went straight to his room upstairs, he didnt want to face sae right now, hed probably snap and make a fool out of himself.
Who was he kidding? Sae probably wouldnt even bother talking to him. He hated that under the anger and hate there was still a small hope inside him that his nii chan still cared about him, that if /(when) he actually did kill himself sae would care
..his thoughts were getting too unrealistic again. He thought as he lied down on his bed. He pulled out his phone to check if hiori had texted him anything.
Hiori: hii rin wanna hop on the game or call
Rin: Can we do both.
Hiori: sure!
Hiori couldnt call for long because his parents were yelling at eachother again.
About a week passed of school, it was exhausting as fuck sure but atleast Rin actually had a friend this year. Of course Bachira had been his friend last year too but rin wouldnt admit that he was friends with him.
Hiori was nice, he actually understood him and didnt think he was weird like most people did.
And well.. everytime hiori made those strange jokes about wanting to kill his parents or rins older brother together rins heart did a flip or two. Its probably not a normal reaction to that, but rin didnt really care.
Its saturday morning. his parents were away working like always so its just him and sae in the house, whatever. He avoids going downstairs if he doesnt have to anyway. But he has to go down for breakfast, so he does.
Sae is sitting at the table as rin walks into the kitchen, avoiding his brothers stare. He opens the fridge, looking for something simple.
“Rin.”
‘What is it now.’ rin thought
“What?”
“Why did i hear that you were already skipping class, its only been a week.”
“..its none of your business.”
“Yes it is, im the head of the student council.”
“because of that? And not because youre my older brother!? Yknow what, Im not even surprised anymore!”
He went back to his room, not eating breakfast.
Sae looks back down at his phone and continues eating his breakfast.
‘when will he get over that phase of his..’
‘fuck, he made me miss breakfast.’
Rin thought as he sat back down on his bed. He noticed his phone going off. He checked who it was and to his surprise it was bachira, how did he even get his number??
Bachira: heyyyy rin
Why did u ignire me at school when i told you to spend break with me ☹️!!!

otoya yukimiya and karasu will follow him anyway so you probably wont escape them.

I asked shidou to ask ur brother for it for me.

Rin: what is wrong with you
And dont bring isagi.
Bachira: whatever you say rinrin
Its now monday, lunch break. Bachira did bring isagi to the rooftop.
“Why the hell would you bring this guy..”
Rin said while glaring at isagi, who was awkwardly smiling, sitting next to bachira.
“Come on rin, why do you hate the guy so much?”
Otoya laughed, leaning onto yukimiya, basically crushing the boy between him and karasu.
“We can leave if ya want rin, i forgot my bag..”
Hiori spoke, already planning to go.
“Lets go then.”
He followed behind hiori with a frown.
When they were going down the stairs rin spoke again
“That guy pisses me off so much, i cant help it.”
“Its okay rin, but atleast try to be nice to him, okay? Isagi is also my friend, and he doesnt even dislike ya. I doubt he even knows what yer brother said.”
“..fine. but i dont wanna be around him, its not just what sae said, hes also annoying.”
“Ya have to sometimes. sorry Rin”
Hiori laughed.
“...whatever, lets go get your bag.”
When they arrived at the class it was supposed to be in, the teacher told them she took it to the principals office, since she didnt know how long it had been there or who it belonged to.
“So were gonna spend the whole break on this shit…”
Hiori sighed.
They went up some stairs to the principals office and knocked.
What they didnt expect is for sae to answer, while shidou sat on the desk.
Rin immediately frowned. ‘Fuck these new schedules, why is he here!?’ He thought.
“look Sae-chan, its your emo brother! And is that a friend? I didnt know he had those…”
Shidou said cheerfully.
Rin was already pissed off.
“Fuck did you say, roach?”
“What are you here for? Who is this?”
Sae said, ignoring rin being ragebaited.
Before rin could reply, hiori did in his usual polite tone, the one he didnt need to keep up while talking to rin.
“Sorry for the bother, were here for my bag. Im a friend of his.”
Sae let hiori walk in and take his bag.
“If youre his friend make sure he isnt skipping anymore, sae chan wasnt too happy about that!” Shidou exclaimed, teasing rin.
“Haha right..”
Hiori said awkwardly because hes partly the reason rins skipped almost all of mr K’s lessons.
Shidou then continued with his yapping “though maybe its better rin skips mr K’s classes, hes a pedo yknow!”
“Well yeah, everyone knows that..”
Hiori sighs.
Rin then speaks, confused “huh???..”
“What is it?”
Sae speaks
“Ive reported it so many times but they dont fire him.”
“I didnt know that, maybe thats why he always told me to meet him after class last year. I never went though because he pisses me off.”
Rin then continues. “Anyway, lets go hiori.”
They walk off, finding a spot under some stairs to sit in for the rest of their break.
The two older boys were silent for a bit.
“Damn, rinrin was lowkey almost a victim”
Shidou said.
“Quiet. I hate this fucking school, maybe rin shouldnt go to those classes.”
“Oh? I knew you cared about licky rin!”
“Dont be stupid, of course i do. Hes my younger brother?”
“No offense, but you should do a better job at showing it.”
Shidou laughed.
Hiori was leaning against rin, playing on his phone while listening to rin shit talk his brother and shidou.
“...so now you get how annoying that cockroach and my brother are. Theyre so fucking stupid, shidou always coming over makes me wanna shoot myself.”
“Dont say stuff like that, Rin..” hiori said while leaning closer to rins neck, between them personal space was rarely a thing anymore, to hiori atleast. On the other hand rin was sweating bricks whenever hiori did this.
“You say that atleast 10 times a day.”
“Oh well.. Maybe i could come over sometime too? Ill just lie to my parents.”
“...sure, but id prefer you coming over when sae is out.”
“Yeah. maybe thatd be better.”
Hiori speaks as he opens his phone again, checking the time.
“Holy shit get up were gonna be late to art class!”
“Fuck, thats like the only class that isnt ass…”
