Morning came sooner than Froggy had expected, it felt like his dreams were shorter. His body wanted to cling back to sleep and he almost did until a cheerful voice started coming into his room to greet him.
“Dad! Dad! Good morning! Can we go shopping today?” It was Baby Villager with his cheerful voice helping wake Froggy up.
“Huh? Isn’t it morning.. what time is it?” Froggy had a raspy voice in the mornings, he almost went back to sleep, closing his eyes.
“But Dad! You promised we would spend time together yesterday..” Baby Villager had those pleading looks in his eyes. It made Froggy awake again, he forgot.. Froggy was so distracted over the events of yesterday that made him upset over himself for being careless that his rut was nothing, when the next two months coming are brutal, and soon he’ll have to talk about this to baby villager and send him to homeless villager or nerd villager. It made Froggy feel sad with that longing look at Baby Villager.
“Dad? Are you alright-”
“We’ll go Baby Villager, l’m sorry for not spending time yesterday l completely forgot about that..” Froggy started to sit on the bed with his hair messy and in his pj’s.
“It’s okay Dad! Let’s go now l already ate breakfast!” Baby Villager quickly became cheerful and ran out of the room.
“Well you’re gonna have to wait since l haven’t eaten breakfast.” Froggy starts to chuckle when he hears an impatient goan from the other room, knowing that it’s Baby Villagers goan.
After Froggy eats breakfast they both quickly get ready and leave out of the house, on their way towards the mall.
At the mall, they go shopping trying out for new clothes, looking at new weapons, chatting away endlessly together.
Hidden among the mall stood Grox, he was observing Froggy from a distance to another store. There was always a gleam in his eyes despite having no smile. He was always watching, never looking for anything in the stores.
Whenever he got distracted by some fans and Froggy wasn’t around, Grox internally panicked and walked out of the store. He started to walk around the halls of the mall, dark eyes observing every store. Searching for that long emerald hair, that gorgeous face upon every expression.
Then Grox sees him at the end of the hallway with Baby villager. Froggy doesn’t see Grox at all but that doesn’t stop him from greeting Froggy.
So Grox walked up to Froggy and touched Froggy’s shoulder at first Froggy flinched as he let out a shuddered breath from the contact and Grox was about to greet himself until Froggy grabbed his arm and threw him over himself and Grox landed on the floor with his back, and it was loud and caught the attention of every villager in the mall.
“Grox?? Why are you here??” Froggy was obviously confused at why Grox out of all the people in this civilization was here at a mall.
“Uh..” Grox was about to give a random excuse from the top of his head, but someone decided to change the topic before he could.
“HEY, Why would you do that to our savior Grox!” An angry villager with kids was shouting at Froggy.
“Yeah! You hurted Lord Grox, we should get revenge for Lord Grox!” Villagers started cheering and pulling their weapons out pistols, ak47’s, even ak74’s. Froggy starts getting nervous over how bad it got from a simple misunderstanding. He didn’t want to fight anyone now.. Not like this when touch needs to be limited, his brows were getting scrunched as his eyes were widening at the situation and tried to shield baby villager from a massacre.
“It was an accident, l swear! l didn't know he was behind me" Froggy shouted at the villagers with his hands up in hopes of calming everyone down. But it was hopeless, no one believes each other when it comes to Grox.
“HEY! I’M PULLING OUT MY RPG, ANYONE THAT SHOOTS MY DAD WILL GET BLOWN UP!” Baby villager stood in front of Froggy with his large rpg threatening everyone aiming at Froggy, he was furious that this happened when he was having a great time with his fucking dad.
“I JUST WANTED A DAY WITH MY DAD WAS THAT SO HARD TODAY??” Baby villager was screaming at everyone in hopes of synthesizing with everyone, but it was hopeless everyone was so stupid to let it go since everyone fucking loved that withered skeleton than caring for others.
“BABY VILLAGER! Put the RPG down now, it’s not that serious to use it!” Froggy was panicking now, he was honestly scared at how bad this has gotten over a simple stupid thing. He didn’t want to ask for help from Grox out of all people, he refused but at this point he was gonna die if he didn’t need help so he looked at Grox in hopes he would take the hint.
“Froggy looks so cute when he’s afraid” Grox thought, he was in awe as he was still on the floor. He knows he shouldn’t be thinking of that now. Until froggy looks right at him, like directing at his face with his eyes making that pleading look on his face.
Grox becomes speechless like his heart is in his throat right now. Like that calming scent is back from froggy except..
The calming scent of lily pads and air wasn’t there, it was being overwhelmed by rain now.. like fear. It left an unpleasant feeling in his bones.
“Oh, froggy’s asking me for help?” Grox almost made a smirk at that thought, until he looked around and realized what was going to happen.
“Froggy is going to die if l don’t do something.” he thought, “l didn’t expect this to happen.”
So Grox finally stood up from the floor, “Ayo Chill! Froggy is no threat everyone, stand down l’m not weak.”
All the villagers immediately return their weapons and say “Sorry lord Grox, we apologize for doubting you.” And everyone walked away from the scene.
Grox got over the situation quickly and looked around for someone.
“Ayo, where did frogman go?”
Grox knew Froggy can’t have gotten that far already so he asked his subjects where did froggy go,
“Hey, do you know where did froggydude went?”
“Yes my lord, Froggydude went that way.” A villager pointed west, and Grox immediately walked out of the mall heading south. Continuing his search for froggy again.
He was passing through villager houses and alleyways not observing his surroundings and then got grabbed into an alleyway by the back of his collar.
Grox was about to yell out until he realized that it was Froggy that pulled him into an alleyway, and he looked pissed “ouu shii bro” Grox thought, Froggy knows what he’s doing.
“What the fuck is wrong with you.” Froggy asks, clearly pissed off at Grox.
“Chill, what is it about? be more specific.” Grox really thinks it’s about the stalking Froggy’s pissed about.
"Why did you touch my shoulder without me knowing”
“Well what’s wrong with that?” Grox becomes confused at why that’s the main topic but at least it wasn’t about stalking.
"I.. forget it, it's not your business" Froggy tries to leave until Grox grabs his wrist and says "Is it about yesterday..?"
"...yes, you need to leave me alone before it gets worse." Froggy tries to step back but his back is already at a wall, Froggy’s already cornered before he even realizes it.
"What is 'it' that makes you want to hide, you speak of it like it's a curse. Do you need help to get rid of it?"
“Oh god” froggy thinks, Does he even know what he’s asking right now? That comment made his brain feel warm and fuzzy.
Froggy feels his face sweating as he feels hotter "No, I... it's my rut, l can't get rid of it. It's natural to me".
"NAH, so that's what this has it been about? Your sexually active right now?" It finally clicks with Grox about how froggy has gotten distant on him so suddenly, his scent being so sweet, his reaction to touch, and how his rut got Grox hooked up on him.
"Yes.. now stop holding my wrist, l'm.. sensitive to touch now." Froggy can barely keep himself aloof now, all this touching and conversation is making Froggy want to touch himself, his head is fuzzy, his body feels so hot, and he’s painfully half hard right now. These villager clothes are useless in covering himself, as he’s avoiding it.
Grox starts smiling and lets go of froggy's wrist to get closer to his ear instead "Well in that case.. What else are you sensitive too? Do you want help?"
Froggy accidentally lets out a 'ngh' right after that, immediately covering his mouth. This has gone farther than froggy thought, where both of them realize that it's not just touch, but specifically Grox's voice.
They’re both speechless after that, Froggy is embarrassed as fuck that just slipped out in front of him while Grox thinks that was the hottest thing he’s ever seen, it turned him on.
"You find my voice attractive?" Grox finally says something with a smile after the silence that continues, and froggy honestly starts walking away, he can’t handle this embarrassment while ignoring the urge to jack off.
"Wait wait froggy, l was just kidding" Grox actually didn’t want Froggy to leave from that and grabbed Froggy’s hand.
Froggy is getting annoyed from this and looks back at Grox to realize his hand is so close to Grox's face, almost like he's about to kiss it. Grox brings froggy close to him once froggy looks back on him, the distance getting shorter again. That scent comes back sweeter as froggy can’t help but feel his face warm again.
"If you do need assistance, just ask me." Looking directly at froggy's eyes with that gleam that carries in grox’s eyes despite having black eyes.
Froggy doesn't believe it and says, "Nah, l'll just let it be some random dude to get it over it." “There’s no way Grox is seriously for sure wanting to fuck me.” Froggy thinks, Grox can be very rude, loud, obnoxious, and there’s just no way he would be good in bed.
Grox holds froggy's hand firm and says "I won't let that happen, anyone whether it be Seawatt, Evbo, CookieGod, or even a fucking random villager. l'd ruin every single attempt for you."
“Stop it Grox, l know you don’t mean it.” With a cold glare on Froggy’s face.
“What? What are you talking about, of course l mean it.” Grox is genuinely confused at what could it be this time.
“You like me, but do you even love me?” Froggy is being dead serious with this.
“I love you, Froggy.” Grox is getting concerned trying to express his love for Froggy.
“You haven’t even shown me you love me, you just want to own me. It’s lust you are on, not love. I don’t want someone who wants me just by sex.” Froggy looks right at Grox’s eyes as he says this.
Grox was legit speechless, he had no evidence to defend himself and honestly froggy basically explained their situationship except he was missing a few details, that Grox was still obsessed with Froggy no matter what.
“I knew it.” Froggy was so sure now, that Grox just wants to fuck with him. It pissed him off now and he refused to let Grox hold his hand now as he moved it away from Grox’s hands.
“Froggy wait-”
“No, l’m done with this conversation, talk to me when you don’t want to fuck.” Then Froggy left Grox in the dark.
Grox was genuinely so pissed that he just embarrassed himself in front of Froggy, he had to push his hair back with his hands to calm himself down. After he randomly shot a villager to ease up his anger.
“Froggy is just hard to get, yo what do l need to do to get froggy?” Grox thought, as he walked away heading to his castle.
Froggy headed back home feeling amazed that he humbled the fucking god knowing nothing about love, he started to laugh uncontrollably. Until baby villager entered the house and noticed his dad was laughing.
“Daddy, what are you laughing for?” Baby villager was absolutely confused at why his dad was laughing so hard on the floor.
“It’s nothing.. Baby villager.. Just something l thought of.” Froggy was laughing throughout his sentence.
“Uh okay dad, can we watch a movie?”
“Yeah sure, just let me get up first.” His laughs were getting slower and more calmer now as his laughter died as he started standing up.
“Cmon baby villager, let's start that movie.” Froggy walked towards the couch with baby villager and started their movie.
