"Max... Darling(?), come here please" (God that was so cringy, never again.) I say to him when I find him at lunch the next day. He has an utterly stupid grin on his face when he hears the word 'darling'. "But of course princess" he says in an almost mocking way as he stands up from where he was sitting with the other VKs, and shockingly Luis. Who gives me a small smile and then continues to watch Hazel dramatically tell a story. (I'll have to ask him about that later, when I'm less embarrassed). I walk max outside to the bleachers and check if anyone's there before I gesture for him to sit down. "We need some ground rules ok." I say pulling a notebook and pen out of my bag. "Ground rules for what?" "The relationship, think of it like a contract". He looks at me in astonished disbelief. "Wow, you really know how to suck the fun out of this," he says as he leans back and rests his arms on the row behind us, "alright then Pink. What are these 'ground rules'?
"Well for starters Max, you can't kiss me anymore" "WHAT???" Max practically jumps up as he straightens his posture. "How is anyone going to believe this relationship if I can't even kiss my girlfriend, Pricilla?" (I hate when people call me that... It makes me feel like I'm being scolded). "There is no debating this Maxwell, I don't want all of my 'firsts' to be fake" I say as I write down 'NO KISSING' as the first rule. "Fiiine, then what can I do?" He huffs as he leans back again. "Well, we can hold hands, and you can hug me, and..." I pause for a brief second "if you wanted to you could like, kiss my cheek?" (that sounds so dumb) "I can work with those Hearts" (maybe it isn't so dumb). "Ok then, rule 2, no one can know this is fake" "well no shit pink, rule one of fight club" "what?". He laughs, "have you ever seen fight club?" "nope" "alright then, rule 3, we're watching fight club as our first unofficial date". I began blushing. "We could do that I guess." "perfect" he says smiling, "also rule 4, you have to go to parties with me and be all touchy, Chloe will defiantly be at majority of them". I just smile and write it down without saying anything. My words wouldn't come out right if I tried to talk. "Rule 5, you have to pick me up and take me to school. I know Red is tired of me taking so long" "Alright bossy". I smile at that. "Anything else Hatter?" He blinks at me a few times before his face turns a simple shade of pink. "I could write you little notes... Chloe always wanted me to write them for her, but I just never did". I try to conceal my giggles, "alrighty rule 6, 'little love letters'... got it!!", "you also have to go on the annual school trip to the enchanted campground with me".
The camping trip... The trip known for having the highest number of virginities lost compared to castlecoming AND the royal ball combined.
I have obviously never been...
Me and Max aren't going to be together that long I believe, and that's the only reason I said
"Ok Max, camping trip is rule 7, anything else?" "Nope, that sounds like everything princess".

"PRICILLA COME ON, CHLOE IS WAITING FOR ME" Red screams from downstairs. "You can just go Red; I have a ride!!". As I begin walking downstairs, I see Reds confused face looking up at me. "And who is your mystery ride?" she says, giving me an amused smirk. "Oh Ruby, you'll probably see who on your way out! now go silly". "Whatever Pink, just don't be late" she says with her back turned to me and heading out the door.

Outside Red walks down the driveway to her car, a silver jeep, and prepares to get in. But as she's opening the down, she sees a familiar convertible pull up in front of her house. "Max?" She says, not really meaning to say it out loud. Max, who's behind the wheel waiting for Pink, tills his sunglasses down and flashes Red a bright smile. "Hello Red, funny seeing you here" he says in a mocking tone, "Well I should be the one saying that considering this is my house," Red says crossing her arms, "why are you here?" "Oh, you know, I'm just picking up my girlfriend". Red is stunned into silence. Pink comes running out of the house; 2 chocolate protein shakes tucked in her arm while the other waves. "Hi Max!" Pink says as she hands him the drink after opening the door. "Hello princess, thanks for the drink" Max says, taking the drink with a smile. "OH!," Pink says when she looks up after buckling "you're still here Red? Well, I'll see you at school, have a good day sis"! Max shifts the gear into drive and speeds away, but only after winking at Red, pushing his sunglasses back up, and kissing Pink on the cheek.
