“Oh Fancy he’s so nice I’m being honest!” Purple sighed; “and lately he’s been kinda flirty? Or honestly I can’t tell, maybe it’s my love stricken head noticing things.” He said, sipping his coffee. They had chosen the same coffee place that Green and Purple on an outing last time. “If you think the feelings mutual then you should try flirting back?” Fancy suggested
“But I don’t know how to flirt, especially since Neon asked me out first and all the flirting went straight over my head! I’m so clueless..” As FancyPants told him all the ways he could flirt back, Purple was stick watching when he spotted green in the streets, they where sitting at the cafe front window so they could see everything. Much to Purples dismay, he had the most lovestruck look on his face, Green decided to look at the coffee shop to see what specials they had and saw Purple with his lovestruck face, then saw the other stick next to him.
While Purple had eyes for Green, Green unfortunately saw Purple and FancyPants together as a date and quickly looked away. Usually when Green see’s Purple when travelling separately, he usually smiles and waves at him, knowing something was off, Purple texted him.
Green 🟢💚
🟣 Purple: Are you ok? You seem off today, do you need to talk about anything when you’re comfortable?
He left Purple on read the entire day.
Green fortunately had people to talk about this, so he was talking it out with the group during dinner; purple on the other hand did not have anyone, the solitude life in the treehouse tends to get to his head and the thoughts start rushing.
“Dude Purple probably has a lot of friend outings, he’s a very social stick you know” Blue said mid mouthful of food.
“and you know he has general anxiety, leaving people on read like that after giving that response slash body language to them is probably driving Purple up the wall! I would know from experience” yellow followed up, with red nodding in approval.
”but he had the most lovestruck look on his face!-“ green started.
”was he looking at that stick or directly at YOU?” Second asked

Yellow was absolutely right.
Purple had asked if he upset Green and apologised but had still gotten no response; he was curled up in his blankets, anxiety preening his wings, feathers strewed all throughout his treehouse; the place looked like a mess, no dishes had been done, books spread out along the tables and some dirty washing on the floor.
doomscrolling while anxiety preening Purple lays in bed, just waiting for the second Green Responds.

“okay okay I’ll go visit him tomorrow” green started
“NOW!!” Pretty much all of the colour Gang besides green shouted, Second new Purple well, through his father, he had coincidentally become friends with him in a book club he decided to join in stick city; Mango told him he had a very anxious son and told him he is trying his best but he wanted to read some more books on how to help people with anxiety, once it clicked in second that Purple was Mangos’ stepson, his face went pale and he started ushering green out the door after hearing green whine all day about how Purple was on a “date” with a stranger.
”what about the dishes?-“ Green started
”we’ve got that just go!!” Blue said, helping second push him out the door.
”ok, I’ll tell you how it all goes” Green said, with the rest of the Colour Gang giving him some words of encouragement and thumbs up’s.
