Dabi woke up in the woods and he was mad really fucking mad. He was more than willing to light this whole place in flames. Twice was dead and Hawks was the killer. Dabi always knew not to trust that fucking bird and he never really did but of course the best of the league, Twice did and now he was fucking dead laying in his own blood, Hawks being the last person Twice saw. Dabi wanted to scream but he didn't.
Dabi wasn't exactly sure how he ended up here and that was a problem. There was a black spot in his memory, the last thing he remembered is the siege and one's Hawks mentees swooping in and taking the feathered asshole. Dabi wouldn't admit it but he was kinda glad that bird head saved the bird if not Hawks would be dead by Dabi's hand and he doesn't know if he would be able to handle that.
Dabi got up and noticed a feeling, more so a lack of a feeling he didn't feel excruciating pain like he should after using so much of his fire power and he felt a lack of metal;staples holding him together. He knew his nerves were fried but not to such severity. Dabi examined his arm and saw something he didn't expect,his skin wasn't the extreme burnt it typically was, it was still burnt but not to the extent it was, kinda reminded him of how his skin looked from when he woke from the coma, just a little more severe or new. “ Well that's just amazing” Dabi muttered to himself, it kinda was if you thought about it but to Dabi this was fucking concerning the question was who the hell healed him? Dabi tskd and started walking around and came across a big problem. He had zero clue where the hell he was and it's not like one of Japan's most wanted could go up to someone and ask for directions. Dabi muttered to himself about how happy he was about this bullshit and wondered around. Judging by his surroundings he was deep, really deep in the woods heck he didn't even see any trails.
Dabi chuckled silently and walked, there really wasn't any other options but hey who doesn't love to see a fucking villain wondering in the woods? Dabi walked around trying to find an exit or clearing and unfortunately wasn't as successful as he would like. As Dabi wandered he felt thoughts of the LOV sneak they're way in his thoughts, he hoped Toga would be okay, he hated to admit it but he felt like Toga's older brother like she was his little sister. Being an older sibling sticks no matter how shitty you were it sticks or maybe he's just trying to make up for leaving his brother and sister.
Dabi continued walking and could feel the branches breaking under every step he took and it smelled earthy, hell everything was earthy there were trees everywhere and light fleeted in between the coverage of the leaves. Dabi kept walking and kept moving despite him seeming getting nowhere, he frequently kept kicking rocks and sticks whatever was in his way. Eventually though he saw a trail. The man didn't walk on it but he followed it from the trees, hopefully this would get him back to average society and he would be able to go to one of the league safe houses and maybe find some cash and a payphone to call the others?
Eventually as Dabi walked through the forest the shrubbery near the trail got too thick for him to walk through. The villain stepped on the trail and walked and walked. It was just him and the tweets of birds, it's not that he didn't like it, he did, it was peaceful and he had no one to bother him. That was the issue,there was no one to bother him. ‘ Who would have thought I would've actually started caring for those assholes? Who would have guessed’ Dabi thought as he practically skipped on the trail.
He wasn't exactly sure how long he'd been walking but at least a half hour, as he walked he started hearing footsteps coming from far in front of him. “Fuck” Dabi murmured to himself as he went to go back in the woods so the people couldn't see him. It's not that he was scared of whoever it was it's that he wasn't in the mood to deal with annoying hikers who would try to report him to a fuck ass hero although he wouldn't mind roasting some hero lovers. Dabi went to use his quirk and… “What the fuck?” Dabi said, trying to use his quirk. It worked but it wasn't really there like it was there but kinda wasn't. Dabi wasn't sure what it was but something was off.
“ You heard that right?” A female voice says from afar. After she said that it felt like Dabi had gotten a knew quirk or just became more aware of people's presence and something about her told him she was average, maybe quirkless but not to be messed with, how annoying.
“ Salmon” a quite voice replied and Dabi had to process that ‘ Who the fuck says ‘Salmon’ as a reply? That's hella weird, probably a quirk thing though’
Dabi stayed silent and didn't move ‘maybe they would think it's someone further ahead’ Dabi thought before slightly adjusting to get a view of the figures. A lady with dark hair in a pony tail wearing maroon glasses with a uniform carrying some kinda weapon. ‘Fuck’ Dabi thought.
The other person was a boy and had white or like a very light blondish hair and was wearing scarfs that covered his mouth. The boy didn't have a weapon, they both looked around Toga's age and were wearing uniforms.
The boy tapped the girl's shoulder and said,“Tuna Tuna” pointing in my direction. Dabi swore under his breath and came out of the woods, back on the trail before making a run for it.
It wasn't the best idea since he had to run past them but who give a fuck?
The duo tried attacking him and he threw a fire ball at them, multiple times. “ Take that hero wannabees” Dabi yelled at them before dashing away and then “STOP” the boy yelled and suddenly Dabi couldn't move he stopped mid step, right where he was.
Dabi inwardly cursed at them ‘Damn them and their quirks’ he thought as he was frozen.
“ How the hell did he get in here?? I'm calling Gojo ” The girl said, getting her phone out and typing a number, the boy gave her a thumbs up before turning his attention to Dabi. After a few minutes the girl got off the phone “ Gojo is on his way” Miss ponytail said to the boy quietly before turning to Dabi “ Now who are you? ” she said glaring at the boy. “ and what the hell are you doing on private property?”
