Chapter Text
Flux?” “…Saparata Theria.” They both said at the same time.
“How..—How are you alive?” Saps stuttered, eyes wide.
He’d assume Saps actually had his memories from the past.
“Well, after you killed me in the colosseum, I got reincarnated as myself with all my memories from my past life,” He shrugged.
“…What are you talking about? Colo—.. Colosseum? I killed you? What are you even saying, Flux?” Saps muttered loudly.
Fuck. He doesn’t remember.
“Fucking dipshit…I’m joking!” He improvised.
A small sniffle came from Saps. “But… you… you!” He whispered.
“I what? Hello?” He asked.
Okay, now this is getting confusing. If he doesn’t remember anything, how the fuck does he know who I am?
“You… died!… I—I saw your body!” Saps cried.
Ah. That’s how he knows, Flux realized.
Huh, a dead version of me. Why would the universe make two of me?
“Oh, I did?” He said.
“Yes, you bastard!… How are you… how are you here?” Saps asked.
“I don’t know. I’ve never really seen you before… but I did wonder what happened to you after…” He murmured, trailing off. He coughed, “That doesn’t matter—It doesn’t matter anymore. I…I don’t really know.”
“We can meet up—and talk!” Saps blurted out, then quickly turned red.
I’ve doomed myself. Why do I keep falling for him?
Why does he keep falling for me?
Flux nodded anyway. “Sure, I guess.”
Saps gave a weary smile. “What’s your number?”
Maybe everything would be okay.
Just maybe.

2020, November 23rd
Fluixon knocks rings the doorbell. After he does, he can hear someone running to the door, probably Saps.
The door opens. “Hi, Flux!” Saps happily said. His universe Saps would probably try to kill him if he came to his door. Maybe his Saps would let him in and take care of him.
“Hello, Saps,” He greeted. Saps grabs his hand and pulled him inside.
His Saps wouldn’t take his hand and let him inside. Not after what he’d done. Saps would’ve did it before. He missed his Saps. He couldn’t even deny it at this point.
His house was nice. Saps sat down at the island table, so Flux did too.
There was a few seconds of awkward silence.
Saps broke the silence. “How… how are you alive?” He quietly asked.
“I don’t know, but I know that I’m not your Fluixon De Aculon.” He responded.
Saps thought for a second. “Does that mean that you’ve died in the past before?”
He didn’t know how to answer that. Did he tell Saps yes or no?
“Do you believe in reincarnation?” He asked instead.
Saps looked a bit confused by the question. “I don’t know… Maybe?”
Flux nodded. “I see.”
Can he trust him?
“If I tell you something, you promise you won’t tell anybody?” He queried.
“I won’t tell a soul!” He said.
Flux took a deep breath. “I don’t expect you to believe me, but I’m supposed to be dead. Well, in my universe.
Saps’ eyes went wide. “Dead? Your universe?”
“I lived in a world with two islands. One island was a barren wasteland, and the other was a rich paradise, with lots of materials. I, was on the rich island, along with you in my universe.
I lived in a civilization named Luminara, which was lead by someone named 3BelowZero. I was actually the vice president of Luminara.
You lived alone, in no civilization, and we were friends.
We had no contact with the poor island for a while. But, rumors were spreading that Island One, the poor island, was gearing up to go to war with Island Two.
Some people believed this, and some people didn’t. I was one of the people that did believe that they would raid us.” Fluixon explained.
Saps nodded, waiting for the rest of the story.
“There was a meeting called, and you were the mediator. Basically all the other leaders believed if they sent goods to Island One it would establish peace.
I spoke up saying that it was not a good idea, and that they would attack us.
Since Luminara was closest to Island One, they would’ve raided us first, and even if they all the leaders agreed to come to each other’s aid, we would already be dead.
Everyone disagreed with me, expect for Seraphim, who was Tricolor’s, lead by Jophiel, second in command.
There were a few other people, too. That included Snowbird, NewKids, Rotation, Gotoga, and my right hand man, Thomas.” Flux went on.
“Thomas? I think I know who you’re talking about.” Saps said.
”Tell me after, for this story is very long.” Flux said.
Saps nodded.
”One day, Seraphim assassinated Jophiel.”
Saps gasped. “Why would she do that?”
“You’ll see. Anyways, the island went on lockdown and I told you to host an emergency meeting with the leaders at your vacation home. All the leaders agreed, and met the next day.
But, as the meeting was ending, a dripstone trap went off, killing six island leaders. Can you guess who made the trap?” Flux asked.
”Was it Seraphim? Or was it me in that universe, because it was my house?” He guessed.
Flux shook his head. “It wasn’t Seraphim, or you. It was—“ Flux said before he was interrupted.
”Saps, you really need to lock your door. Anyways—…” A familiar voice said.
One of his most trusted friends, his right hand man. Thomas.
Saps turned his head.
“Wait—Is… Flux?” Thomas asked, with wide eyes.
“Thomas!” Saps quickly said.
“I… I saw your body! How—How the hell are you alive?” Thomas demanded.
I can’t tell if he’s from my universe or not. Only one way to find out!
”Well, after I died in the colosseum, I got reincarnated into another version of myself and I’m here now.” Fluixon said.
”What? Saps, did you bring an insane person that looks like Flux into your house?” Thomas questioned.
”Of course I didn’t!” Saps scoffed.
“Okay, so if you are Flux, whats your full name?” Thomas asked.
”Fluixon De Aculon. Son of Elanuelo De Aculon, brother of Cynikka De Aculon.” He remarked.
”Holy shit— it is you!…” Thomas gasped. “But how are you alive?”
He sighed.
It’s going to be a long conversation.
