Chapter Text

Bakugo wasn't sure how many days had gone by. With no windows in their room, he couldn't tell day from night. He couldn't even rely on that damn extra Hiro, because lately some other fool had been coming in to check on them. The red frizzy haired freak was a lazy ass fuck. All he did was tidy the litter box and leave them fresh food and water before fucking off again. At least he left their cage door open, allowing to wander but.... there was nothing in the room to help them.

The time they managed to get the computer turned on, it was only to discover that it was a dinosaur and wasn't even hooked up to the Internet. They couldn't even access the files, because they were password encrypted and trying to tap anything on the keyboard was impossible with their fluffy paws.

"Damnit," Katsuki cursed as he paced around the room. He was sick and tired of being trapped within these four walls. It was the same day after day.... and the longer they were trapped here....

Katsuki stopped and looked over to where Shoto was curled in a ball on the desk chair. As the days went by, his pregnant stomach was becoming more obvious and his boyfriend slept more. Katsuki knew there'd couldn't be much time left. How long was a cat pregnancy anyways? He's pretty sure the dumb doctor had said two months during Shoto's ultrasound the other day.

So, if they'd been here for a month before he came to his senses.... minus a week to make the kittens.... and he's been awake for over a week.... they might have about three or four weeks left, maybe a little more or less. He had to get them out. They were running out of time.

He couldn't bear the thought of Shoto giving birth here, and then having the kittens stolen and shipped away. Even if they couldn't make it to UA... if they could just escape... Katsuki was sure he could find someone that could help two cats, like a cat rescue or something.... maybe a cat cafe? Eye bags liked to go to those. Maybe they could run into him and he could take them back to UA....

The door slammed open, causing both cats to startle . Katsuki hopped up onto the chair with Shoto and stood over his body as he glared and hissed at the stupid red headed extra. Shoto tiredly blinked his eyes open, before stretching and sitting up. Katsuki adjusted himself, still standing protectively in front of his pregnant mate.

"Look what I found!" The idiot extra announced as plopped down the floor in front of the desk. He pulled a phone out of his jacket pocket and held down the on button, waiting for it to power up.

"I found it in the supply room. Newest model on the market! It's been there for awhile, so no one will even notice it's gone," He chuckled. He was so captivated by the phone that he didn't notice as Katsuki's fur puffed up.

"That's my phone!" Katsuki hissed, as Shoto glanced over, recognising the black and orange case with middle finger sticker on the back.

"He can't use it. You have a password," Shoto pointed out, as he stepped forward and began to groom Katsuki's face and neck, trying to keep the blonde distracted so he wouldn't attack the man in order to get his phone back.

"Goddammit!" The extra cursed, as his fingers jabbed at the phone. "It has a stupid password! Maybe I can still sell it or trade it in or something."

The extra stood up, turned the phone off and slipped it back into his pocket before leaving the room. He was so caught up in his bad luck, that he paid no attention as the door remained open behind him. He hurried down the hall, and disappeared behind one of the doors.

Katsuki quickly looked at Shoto, before they both hopped off the chair and edged towards the open door. They had both been down the hall before, escorted by Hiro for Shoto's appointments with the doctor, but this was the first time the door had been left open.

"Let's go. Stay close. We can't get separated," Katsuki whispered, as he stepped into the hallway, his body low to the floor as his ears twitched, on high alert for any sounds of people.

Shoto followed close behind, brushing against Katsuki's tail every few seconds to let the blonde know he was there without having to look back.

The hallway seemed endless. It was quiet and every door they passed was shut. There were no signs of people. Maybe they had all checked out for the night? But the red head... was he still around? They had to be careful not to get caught, this could be their only chance to get out and if they got caught... they could pass with just being curious cats checking out their surroundings, right?

Katsuki suddenly froze, and Shoto stopped just as suddenly behind him.

Footsteps.

Someone was coming!

Katsuki shoved his body against Shoto's leading him over to one of the large trash cans placed in every corridor. They hurried behind it, Katsuki once again standing over Shoto as they both ducked down low, hoping that whoever it was would just pass by and not notice their colourful fur not doing the best job of camouflage behind the trash can.

The footsteps slowly passed by them and Katsuki held his breath, his body frozen with fear that they'd be discovered. That they'd be shoved back into that cage and forgotten about. That Shoto.... their babies....

He peeked around the trash can and nearly fell over as he recognised that black costume, that grey scarf, that dark hair.

"Aizawa!" He yowled as he hopped into view. He watched his teacher jump and spin around before meowing again.

"Dumbass! It's us. Get us out of here!" He meowed as he ran over and stretched up his teacher's leg.

He hissed as he was gently nudged off and frowned as Aizawa tried to wave him off and continued down the hall.

"He doesn't understand you," Shoto said, as he came up beside Katsuki.

"I'll make him fucking understand!" Katsuki proclaimed, as he chased after their teacher, with Shoto following close behind him.

He paused as Aizawa slipped into the room they had just escaped from, before following him in with another loud meow.

"Look at me!" Katsuki yowled, getting his teacher's attention again.

The man squatted down with a huff, his hand reaching out to stroke the blonde's head.

"I can't stay and play with you. I have to find a couple of boys."

"Me! You're looking for me!" Bakugo meowed frantically, as he put his paws on Aizawa's knee and stood up to try and catch his eye. He frowned as Aizawa stopped paying attention to him, his gaze falling towards the doorway.

He heard Shoto's soft meow, before his boyfriend joined him, standing against Aizawa's other knee.

The teacher's eye widened, as he stared at Shoto. The red and white fur split perfectly in half, the duel coloured eyes, the scarring over his turquoise eye.

"Shoto?!" Aizawa gasped, before giving the other cat another look over. Blonde spiky fur, red eyes and that loud meow...

"Bakugo?!"

Both cats nodded at the same time, as Aizawa fell back onto his backside, staring in disbelief.

Shoto purred as he climbed onto Aizawa's lap as their teacher pulled his phone out of pocket and quickly dialled it,

"Hizashi, I found them. Pull the car up around the back... no, I don't need help, I just... I'll be right there... hurry."
