~＊Sports Festival＊~
Rui stood at the front entrance of Kamiyama High, waiting for the arrival of his friends. After Rui texted Tsukasa, Emu texted in the WxS groupchat that she really wanted to come - that meant Nene was taking her. So he waited for his troupemates so he could begin their festival experience.
"RUI-KUNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Rui didn't even have time to react before Emu slammed into him.
"Fufu~ How are you Emu-kun?" Rui said as he returned the hug Emu offered.
"I'M SUPER WONDERHOY!!!!!!☆" She exclaimed, "What about you, Rui-kun?"
"Good, as always" He spared a glance at Nene and they looked back in questioning - he would tell them later.
"HELLO EVERYONE!!!" A loud voice boomed - Tsukasa.
"Hello, Tsukasa-kun~"
"HELLO, RUI!!!!!"
"Hi, Tsukasa..."
"Hi, Tsukasa-kun!!!" Emu beamed as she pounced on him,
"GAH! EMU DON'T DO THAT!!!" Said Tsukasa as he doubled over from Emu's attack.
Nene laughed softly at the display and looked at Rui, who was also slightly chuckling. Nene could tell something was off with him though, his posture, his eyes, and he was fidgeting with his hands more than usual. Of course she didn't ask, she would have time later if it was bothering Rui that much. She just didn't want to ruin the moment.
"Should we go enjoy the festival?" They say instead of voicing their worries.
Everyone quickly agrees and walks into the school building.
It's mostly peaceful as they walk around - minus Emu squealing and trying to run to any interesting thing she sees - until they get to class 2A.
"OOOOHHH!!!! ☆ LOOK!! A WONDERHOY FASHION SHOWWW!!!" Emu practically screams, "LET'S GO SEE!!!!!!!" She then grabs Nene's arm and runs as fast as possible.
"E-Eh?! Emu you're going too fast!!" Nene yelped as she got dragged along.
Rui and Tsukasa had no option then to chase after the two, Rui giggling the entire time.
I want it to stay like this.
Rui didn't notice Emu and Nene stopped running until he almost ran into them.
"Welcome to the class 2A fashion show!!" A cheery voice said, followed by, "Oh! Hi Kamishiro-senpai, Kusanagi-san, Tsukasa, andddd Emu-chan!!!!"
"Ughh, more people..?" Another voice groaned, Rui recognized it as Akito.
"Fufu~ Hello Shinonome-kun~"
"You're here too..? Ugh.."
"AKITO!!!! THAT'S SO RUDE!!!!" Tsukasa shouts.
Rui loves his boyfriend.
He's not going to love you anymore.
Not after this.
He shakes his head and tries focus back on the conversation.
"So what's your class doing for the festival?!!" Emu asked, practically jumping off the walls with excitement.
"Oh! Basically, we're doing this photo booth thingy where you can try on all sorts of different costumes!!" An started, "A few of our classmates that are really into fashion design made them for us!!"
Emu gasped, "THAT SOUNDS SUPER DUPER WONDERHOYYY!!!!"
"Yeah, sorry for not helping right now.." Nene added, shifting around a bit.
"It's ok!! You'll come back later right?" An responded, she gave a little nod and An seemed to take that as all the confirmation she needed.
"So many different types of costumes..." Rui mused, naturally gravitating towards them.
An followed close behind, "Yeah!! We've got it all! Dresses, mandarin gowns, maid uniforms, and even alien costumes!! You're free to try on whatever you like and totally transform!!"
Transform, huh..?
"OOOH!! OOOH!!! NENE-CHAN CAN WE PLEASEEEE TRY SOME ONNN???!!" Emu pleaded, shaking Nene voilently by the shoulders.
Nene just sighed and let themself get shook.
"HAHAH!! WE SHOULD TRY IT, IT WOULD MAKE SOME GOOD MEMORIES HERE!!!☆" Tsukasa said, already walking towards the changing room.
"Memories... Yeah, let's do it..!" Rui said following.
"Four more coming in!!" An shouted, if one listened close enough, you could also hear Akito groan in despair.
"YAYYYYY!!!!" Emu screamed, grabbing Nene's hand, "LET'S GO! LET'S GO!!" And with that, she took off.
They tried on lot's of fun costumes and laughed at the pictures they took (mostly of alien Tsukasa, or Gleep Glorp as Emu said).
They then walked over to where Mizuki's class was doing a play. The group (mainly Rui) really wanted to see what Mizuki came up with as it was her first time directing.
The show was called "Ribbons.." pretty exciting!!
They took a seat and waited for the show to start.
Soon, a person came onstage, "Wow.. so many pretty colors..."
~＊After the Show＊~
"WAHHH!! THAT WAS SO WONDERHOYYYY!!!!☆" Emu exclaimed, flapping her hands and jumping up and down.
"Fufu~ Yes, very wonderhoy~!" Rui said, "I especially liked the glitter~"
"Yeah..-" Nene starts, but soon gets cut off by Tsukasa... Whatever.. she can say what she wants later...
"YES!! IT WAS MARVELOUS!!!"
Rui, seemingly noticing that Nene got cut off, said, "Yes indeed my star~ Now Nene, what did you want to say?"
Oh..! Now they have to continue their sentence, "Oh, I was just saying how nice the pink was.."
"YAYY!!! IT WAS SUCH A GOOD PINKKK!!!!" Emu agreed.
"Fufu~ This is so fun~!"
Judging by the facial expressions, it seems that at least one person saw through him that time... Oh, well..
Like the angel she is, Nene continued that conversation, "Do you want to head to your class now, Rui?"
"..Huh?" Rui said softly, he wasn't expecting them to care about his class's work.
"I was really looking forward to your escape room.." Nene hesitated a bit, still held her point.
"AN ESCAPE ROOM SOUNDS SO WONDERHOYYYY!!! I WANNA SEE ITTT!!!!" Emu insisted, grabbing onto Rui's arm.
"HAHAHAH!!! YES IT'S AMAZING!!!!!" Tsukasa, already taking the first steps towards Rui and his class, shouted.
"Then I guess we can go~" Rui agreed.
