The next morning, Kelly sat there for hours staring at Sam's body until the sun came up, a red spread across the sky like it was pierced. Kelly left town that day, not caring about the consequences it would have, and finally went to place that might actually feel home for once. She had always wanted to move to the city; tired of the small town life, it had never treated her right. Sam had changed Kelly, inspired confidence and independence, despite the sadness. At first Kelly tried to walk through life like she was never there, but those days are over, they ended when they did meet. And now she's not there anymore and all Kelly really wants to do is kiss her plump, dark red lips once more to heal their eternity. Things have long been over, Kelly is now left trying to build a life that truly expresses herself, for the girl who inspired her to be more than what people wanted, that she forever dreams will one day come back even though she never will. Therefore, good bye to coffeé cups, mediocre cafés, the backs of couches, orange farms, olive green, the shitest of shity small towns, and most importantly, good bye, Samantha Colins.
