Chapter Text
By the time sunlight shone down on the two in a shared bed, the door had been suddenly slammed open. Luke yelled, Callum harmonizing after him.
“RISE AND SHIINEEEE BREAKFAST IS READY!!”
Hudson jolted upright at the sudden yelling, Zachary pulling him back down without lifting his head.
“WHAT THE FUCK?! IT’S SO EARLY! I DON’T WANNA BE YELLED AT!” Hudson yelled out, then being soothed by Zachary’s touch on his waist.
“Calm down, Huddy.. don’t waste your strength on these idiots.” Zachary warned as he pulled Hudson closer to his chest.
Callum put his hand on the door handle, “Well, breakfast is optional, hurry if you don’t want Luke to eat everything!”
He grabbed Luke’s hand and practically ran downstairs.
Hudson groaned, still tired of course from being woken up so early.
“Uughh.. so loud…”
Zachary hummed, finally releasing the brunette, “Well we certainly can’t be late, unless of course, you want Luke to eat the very food that now soon grows cold?”
Hudson got up, grabbed the vampire’s wrist, and walked out the bedroom. Zachary followed along, allowing the warlock to drag him through the house and to the kitchen downstairs.
When they were downstairs, Callum had just been finishing breakfast.
“Pssht— ready you said…” Hudson muttered under his breath, guiding Zachary to sit at the table with Luke sitting across from them.
Zachary placed his hand on Hudson’s thigh when they were seated, keeping a firm grip as he smirked.
Hudson in response to this, lifted his leg and placed it back down to rid of the hand on him, glaring at the blonde next to him.
“Hands off.”
“Mmh.. how unfortunate for me…”
Luke watched them before speaking up, “Seems like the mighty vampire can’t keep hands off, could be us, Cally”
Callum, who’d been setting food on the table, immediately perked up at his nickname. “What? I literally fuc—“ He tried to protest, but Luke covered his mouth with his hand, smiling calmly like an idiot
“Well yes…” Luke quietly spoke.
Zachary just stared with an unreadable expression while Hudson groaned, was their entire stay here just going to be awkward? The blonde cleared his throat, finally speaking up as Callum’s irritated muffles quieted down.
“Well, it certainly seems like we all had fun last night, hm?” He glanced at Hudson’s direction, currently stuffing food in his face.
Hudson stopped mid bite, looking like a criminal caught at a crime scene. “What, is something on my face? Stop looking at me you freaks.” He gripped the fork tighter.
Zachary feigned hurt, “Oh my, Huddy how could you call me a freak..?” He paused, looking at Callum and Luke, his tone going to straight monotone. “Asides from these literal freaks, who cares for them. But me? A freak? how hurtful huddy…” He whined.
“Hey I’m not a!—“ Callum started but Hudson cut him off.
“Oh shut up you big baby.” Hudson grumbled, looking the platinum blonde and his brunette lover, seeing them already done eating. “Finished that food down like pigs, I see.” he twirled his fork around.
Luke gasped, and Callum put a hand to his forehead in dramatic offense.
“PIGS?! YOU’RE SO CRUEL!” Luke yelled.
“He.. he called us pigs! Oh Luke, am I fat?! Am I too big?! I’ll stop eating, I don’t want to be a.. a pig!” Callum cried out dramatically, failing to suppress a smirk.
“Well you’re MY pig so shut up, and let’s go to the cafe!” Luke grabbed Callum’s arm, dragging him away as the platinum blonde yelped out in surprise, leaving Zachary and Hudson alone in the kitchen.
A moment of silence washed over the room, then Zachary looked over at Hudson, who was currently washing his dish. The vampire smirked, then rose from his seat, approaching the brunette. “Huddyy..” he purred, snaking his arms around Hudson’s waist, pulling his back against his chest. “It’s so lonelyy when you’re not in my arms…”
Hudson froze, turning his head to look back at Zachary. “Lonely? I’m still here, I haven’t gone anywhere.” He leaned back, allowing himself to rest against the vampire.
Zachary nuzzled his face in the nape of the brunettes neck, inhaling his scent.
“You smell good…” The blonde closed his eyes, pulling Hudson closer the moment he finished washing the dishes. He grabbed the warlock’s hand, intertwining their fingers as he pressed himself more against Hudson.
Hudson held the grip firmly, looking down at the blonde currently inhaling the life out of him. Without a second thought, he turned around to face the vampire and hauled him up into his arms bridal style, earning a yelp out of the blonde. “Let’s go to the living room, mh?” he started walking, ensuring Zachary didn’t fall.
Zachary allowed himself to be carried, “How very gentlemanly of you, sweet Hud..~ I might have to get used to such princess treatment.” He rested his head back against Hudson’s shoulder, allowing the brunette to lower him on the couch.
When they were both settled, Hudson pinned Zachary to the sofa, tangling their limbs together as he cuddled him. “Anything specific you wanna watch? Or do you wanna let the tv run mindlessly?”
Zachary pretended to think, before pulling Hudson closer by the collar of his dress shirt, their faces mere inches apart.
“I think I want.. to hold you in my arms.”
“Is that so?” Hudson leaned in closer, his gaze dropping down to the blonde’s lips before shifting it back to those striking blue eyes.
“Very much so…” Zachary closed the gap between them, pressing their lips together and locking them.
Hudson closed his eyes, his hands going to grip Zachary’s hips to anchor himself, his lips moved against the blonde’s with equal fervor. He felt Zachary’s tongue slide across his bottom lip, silently pleading for entry. He decided to not make it easy for the blonde.
Hudson opened his mouth, yes, but it was to fight for dominance. Zachary was taken off guard, his tongue pushing against the other, determined to not lose this new found battle. They exchanged fierce glances, quiet statements that said ‘I won’t lose.’
After a moment, Hudson lost, and Zachary immediately took control over the kiss, pulling away before kissing him again.
Hudson groaned, obviously irritated by the fact he lost but he continued kissing the blonde.
After a moment or two, he pulled away, adjusting his hold on Zachary. “That’s enough now.. so affectionate for a ‘cold blooded vampire’ hm?”
Zachary kissed Hudson’s neck, earning him a soft sound from the brunette. “I just can’t resist you, Huddy…” he spoke smoothly, nuzzling his face on Hudson’s neck until the door suddenly slammed open. Luke and Callum emerged from the door.
“We’re BAACK— Oh.” Luke said excitedly before trailing off. Callum stared at them in shock, dropping the bags from the cafe he’d been holding.
Hudson and Zachary were up on each other, Zachary’s arms around Hudson’s waist as if his life had been dependent on the other man, they looked like they’d been caught in a crime. “Oh boy…” Luke muttered.
Hudson nervously laughed, but he didn’t move away from Zachary’s grasp, and Zachary didn’t move either, he just looked back at Hudson and inhaled his scent again.
“Let’s.. go somewhere else, Luke…” Callum grabbed Luke and left the house yet again, going wherever, who cares.
Hudson sighed while Zachary only smirked and pulled the brunette’s head to rest on his chest.
