Chapter Text
Wifies just stayed there like normal, it’s been about two days since he got here. It’s pretty chill, he loves living on the ship if he’s being honest with himself.
But sometimes it just feels weird to stay here without doing nothing, you know, he came here without even knowing why, he thought he would do something here and that he would figure out what that something was once he got here, but here he was, still trying to figure out what that something was
and so, he just thought, and pretty much that. He thought about the leviathan, about Hummer, and about that weird place, and that was pretty much it.
until he remembered
.
He remembered about how strangely the world interacted with Hummer; how no one noticed him on parameterization’s village or arronax’s museum, how he didn’t have a hitbox but the entity counter didn’t go down, how parameterization seemed to not see him when they broke into his house, how no death message appeared on the screen when he drowned, it was just so strange.
he just closed his eyes while thinking of the small details from when Hummer was alive, slowly connecting the dots.
until…
— Wifies.
— HUMMER?!
Wifies shot up, still sitting on the bed and started looking around, he swore he heard Hummer’s staticky electronic voice just next to him, but no one was there.
He was paranoid for weeks, he kept hearing Hummer’s voice on the ship but no one was ever there. he was completely by himself, that voice was making him sick, he couldn’t sleep anymore and he felt so attached to that fucking ship it was painful. Not painful, even more.
So he needed to do something. He was not sure he knew what that something was, but he did need to do it, so he listened to the force inside his skull that brung him here, he let his thoughts not be his for just this moment,
just once more.
⊹ ࣪ ﹏𓊝﹏𓂁﹏⊹ ࣪ ˖
And so he did.
he walked for hours, barely conscious, he didn’t even feel himself, he didn’t feel real, but suddenly, he snapped back into his mind, it felt so sudden but assumably he was where he needed to be.
He took a few seconds to adapt to the slight cramps in his legs from walking so much, before looking up at to where he was
…
He knows this place.
Wifies just stared blankly for a second, it was Parameterization’s village, the same one where Hummer disappeared. He began walking walking towards it, trying to ignore Parameterization, who began talking to him as soon as he stepped foot inside the village.
— Hey Wifies! back to steal more stuff from me?
—Fuck yourself.
—What’s all that attitude for? you better respect people around here if you’re not in the mood to die, you know? Oh yeah and by the way who were you talking about when you said “we” when you broke into my house last time-
—Oh my lord can’t you just SHUT UP for a goddamn second!?
Wifies wasn’t really someone who would go out being rude to everyone, but he just never felt so angry before, his entire body felt like it was made up of hatred and rage, like his very own soul was dipped in pure pure red.
—Okay, so now i just think you want do die.
Parameterization said, resting his sword on Wifies’ left shoulder, close to his neck
—Answer my question.
Wifies took a deep breath in, trying to regulate himself so he could leave this place as soon as possible
—Look, i’m looking for something, and i don’t want to mess with anyone around here, okay? My bad for being that rude if that makes you not want to slit my throat anymore.
—Okay? But you didn’t answer my question.
—Oooh yeah, i was talking about Hummer, a better question would be why you pretended he didn’t exist, he was with me all the time.
—What’re you talking about? Who the hell is Hummer?
Parameterization questioned, with a confused look on his face.
—Hummer5718! The player who came here with me last time-
꩜
—Oh. nevermind.
Suddenly, all the rage in his spirit was replaced by a deep, dark and bitter sorrow in a matter of seconds.
He then looked away, his face visibly shifiting with that feeling, like any sparkle in his eyes had disintegrated out of existence. He walked away, leaving Parameterization behind, but suddenly, he didn’t matter to him anymore.
He then took some wood from trees, crafted a boat, before he began sailing once again into the deep ocean. This time, he didn’t have an objective, but after around 12 minutes of sailing, he stopped doing so and got up, looking down at the water and hearing the sounds of nature around him, strangely quiet.
He’s just there, still. admiring the depth of the water around him, when he begins to feel some kind of weird sensation from inside of him, he swore he could hear a crowd whisper into his ear and some kind of strength bending his thoughts so he would plunge himself into that ocean.
He thought he was holding on very well, until…
splash.
Suddenly, everything around him turned a Wet, deep blue.
