Chapter Text

It’s been a while since he explored the Overworld extensively, mostly just for exploration and such, but he had a motive beneath all that. Let Minute give you a detailed rundown on what happened before this.

After Parrot had been crowned king, non-stop wars had been happening from villages and kingdoms around because of the food “shortage” done by Parrot. So a group, then turned kingdom, named Cindercrest made a move to overthrow Parrot’s reign of helping new players. Cindercrest’s goal was to assimilate or enslave the new players as they deemed them “selfish” for taking the resources away from old players of the server. But even enslaving them wasn’t enough, they had to kill them after a few days or so to keep their agenda of siding for the old players.

Somehow, they managed to overthrow Parrot, granted they had coerced two of Unstable’s strongest players, FlameFrags and Wemmbu. Flame had joined because of the influence Cindercrest had on his best friend Lomedy, with the intention of keeping him safe. After the first war though, they fell off and went on seperated ways with Lomedy staying in Cindercrest and Flame going on to train himself even more.

Wemmbu’s situation was worse, as his friend Eggchan had been taken hostage and used as leverage for Wemmbu’s participation in a civilization led by Arachn1d, whose beliefs were “The strong lives” or something. Even after the second war, they persisted but eventually fell after Wemmbu had devised a plan to get Egg back. Now the civilization is led by one of Wemmbu’s comrades, Yungy. He was a strong kid, just that he was all noisy, as Minute would describe it atleast. He wasn’t a big fan of loud people unless it was his own family.

Parrot had been exiled after the first war, leading him to seek refuge with Minute for a few weeks as he grieved Theo and Reina’s disappearance. The two had turned up after an Overworld expedition done by Minute and Parrot for supplies, and by God Minute had never seen Parrot so relieved to see someone alive. They made a plan back in the End on how to defeat Saparata and the whole of Cindercrest. Flame had visited and profusely apologized to Parrot between everything that happened in Cindercrest when he noticed he was there, and Parrot had forgiven him, saying that he would’ve done the same had he been in his place. And Flame was in the plan to take down Cindercrest too.

Wemmbu was harder to work with, he had visited the End as well with Jaden beside him. Minute took note of the state his son had been, his sunken dull eyes that once sparked with light, the messy and unkempt hair Egg always done in the morning, and most importantly his attire. It still had its purple hues, but it had looked duller than ever, and was rebranded with cobweb and spider motifs rather than his dragon and gem motifs. After a short talk (and maybe a small fight) with Wemmbu, he just broke down. Minute knew this was different from Wemmbu’s usual stressed self, so he comforted him to the best he could ever since they were young. Meanwhile Jaden had told Parrot and Flame all about their situation back at the Kingdom of the Caves to the best he could.

The purge was happening in a few days alongside to their plan to take down Cindercrest, and Jaden had managed to escape and tell Wemmbu what was to happen in the Kingdom of the Caves and that he would be participating whether he wanted to or not. It was then Wemmbu slipped that he can’t disobey because “It’s all for Egg…” and Jaden had pressed Wemmbu about information about Egg, leading them to go to the End to meet Minute, Wemmbu’s parent which he accidentally mentioned when he was in the Pirate Civilisation.

Looks like another plan was in motion alongside taking down Cindercrest. They had to postpone Cindercrest’s fall in order to remove another kingdom that could potentially lower their chances at winning the war.

As much as Minute pained to execute this plan, he basically had no choice if he wanted his kid safe and in good health.

So he asked Wemmbu to keep the act as much as possible while they find a way to disarm Egg’s stasises, Wemmbu tries to reason that they have to chance at doing this because Egg was also in a death-based stasis, that even when Arachn1d dies, the stasis gets pulled. Minute manages to convince Wemmbu nonetheless and he promises to get Egg out of Arachn1d’s web.

After Wemmbu’s depart from the End, Minute felt something was missing in the picture, but he couldn’t dwell on that right now, he had to assist his children first and foremost.

After getting rid of Egg’s stasises that were almost everywhere (don’t get Minute started on the stasis room that reminded him of his mafia days), he was now dismantling the last and final one when he realized that it was a hoax just to keep his son in line. He tells Yungy to kill Arachn1d and Wemmbu not to worry when they get beneath the throne room. He didn’t forget the way Wemmbu’s face paled when Aracn1d had died and frantically broke the glass separating him and Egg’s last stasis, but he also didn’t forget the way Wemmbu had bloomed into a sense of comfort when Egg had clutched that water bucket to the concrete wall.

Now that Yungy was king of the caves, he agreed to help them take down Cindercrest because his goal was already fulfilled by becoming king thanks to Wemmbu’s help, and that meant he owed Wemmbu a favor. That was another force in their list they didn’t account for but the more people meant more forces to take down Cindercrest.

Their hard work pays off when they finally overthrow Saparata from his evil reign. As Saparata was monologuing to Parrot about the good of his reign for the server, (Was that a trait every evil player had in Unstable?) Flame had struck him from behind while Theo and Reina was taking care of Shoebilly outside the throne room and their army was battling outside with Cindercrest’s forces. As Cindercrest’s forces dwindled, Saparata’s arrogance did as well, and this had led to his downfall once and for all.

Saparata and the remaining Cindercrest forces had been sent to prison under Lettuce’s watch back in Law Prison. Parrot and Lettuce were somehow in good terms but Minute couldn’t care less, if his kid was now alright and not in constant danger, then Minute was alright too.

Minute offered Flame to live with him in the End, or even train the ways of how End combat worked, Flame agreed but said that he wouldn’t stay for long after training, as he had to explore a bit more of the server to become the greatest combat master of all of Minecraft. Minute had managed to break Lomedy out of his belief that Cindercrest was doing this for good by saying that even if new players were killed, old player are still a threat to basically everyone, telling him that no matter who was new or old, players are still exposed to poverty and such, and that the cycle can never stop.

This led to Lomedy trying to reconcile with Flame after the battle, he thought that Flame would resent him after all that had happened. But Flame simply forgave him again and was overjoyed Lomedy was back with him. Typical Flame, Minute thought.

But even after all that, Minute still felt something was missing, but he couldn’t pinpoint it just yet. But for now, he had to help Parrot rebuild his kingdom, help rebuild Lomedy’s friendship with Flame, and get a tracker for Egg.

Then the day came when Flame had hosted a celebratory party at his base that was made by LAW, where it all went downhill so fast. And Minute’s whole world shattered.

They were having a feast, taking about what they would do in the server now, just small banters here and there. Everything was perfect and peaceful once more. Flame and Lomedy was going to train with Minute in the End, Parrot, Theo, and Reina would be watching over the Server as per the king of the server, Wemmbu and Egg would just continue building their base in the overworld.

Jaden and Yungy were back in their respective kingdoms or civilizations, but they agreed to stay in contact with Parrot and the others in case anything interesting was happening. Minute just sighed in amusement, his kids has a different meaning for the word interesting at this point.

Then Parrot brought up Spoke’s name.

The mention of the voidling immediately stopped all the chatter in the room. You could hear the waves of the river below them due to the sudden silence.

It was then when Minute finally knew what they were missing. His youngest child was nowhere to be found.

The questions started to rise about Spoke’s whereabouts, each one alarming the others one after another.

From what they know, they last saw him in the aftermath of the war with LAW, when they had imprisoned Lettuce as Parrot became the first king. And Parrot last saw him one month after his rule, talking about a group of players who called themselves NULL that consisted of players with void-like skin and jumbled names.

But it had been a month or two after Parrot first claimed his crown, then another 3 when Saparata took his crown and Parrot reclaimed it. Totaling to Spoke being gone around 5 months or so.

None of them had recieved any updates about the voidling after that, not even other people had mentioned the mere existence of the voidling. Until now, just when the chaos had subsided, another has taken its place.

Minute and Parrot immediately planned for a serverwide search for Spoke, even going as far to the Farlands for even a trace of the kid. Wemmbu and Minute had assigned themselves for that purpose as they had the most fastest mode of transporation, while Parrot and Flame would search the rest of the kingdoms within the area. Theo and Reina would infiltrate any prisons they can come across, even small ones that could be suspicious.

Then footsteps were heard from a distance, below Flame’s base where the entrance is located. Thanks to Minute’s bat traits, he had great hearing and was able to hear things from miles away. So he told the group the remain vigilant because someone had entered the base.

Whenever he heard a new sound from their unknown visitor, he relayed whatever he could hear to the group.

“I can hear them walking, but it sounds like they’re having a hard time. They might be exhausted from their journey to this base. And its like they’re trying to stay silent as much as possible while also keeping a fast pace, they’re watching out for something.“

“Or someone.”

“That may be possible too.”

“What else Minute?”

“…Ragged breathing and coughing… they coughed something up, some kind of liquid perha-“

“Blood.”

“What?”

“It’s- fuck, they reek of blood Minute. A lot of it if I could whiff it from this distance. But it’s… different.”

“Different how?”

“There’s another scent with their blood, they’re probably from another realm. Give me a minute to identify it.” Lomedy says and pulls out a book with a list of scents. Lomedy coughs. “Shit, it’s getting stronger, they must be heading here first. And fast.”

Fast indeed, the footsteps were nearing their location in hurried thumps.

Thanks to Lomedy’s rabbit traits, he had a keen sense of smell, letting him be able to smell things from far away. Even managing to tell the difference between small things, like blood. This difference worried Minute. Depending on which realm you came from, your blood would have another odor alongside the blood’s common iron scent.

Players from the Overworld had the ordinary metallic smell, being the base scent of all types of blood in every realm. The Netherborns had an additional scent of something burning, more specifically like burning wood as it smelled like the earth. Ones from the Aether had a vanilla like scent to their blood that somehow induces sleepiness to the people who smelled it, which explained why whenever people were weaker when going against Wemmbu when Egg was injured.

Ones from the End were a tad different. They were a void creature which formed from the void. Yes they have blood as well but void creatures were formed from the void and not spawned like mobs. They also don’t necessarily need oxygen to survive. But because they adapt to the players around them, they do eventually gain organs such as their lungs but at that point they don’t rely on oxygen that much, giving their blood a white color complexion, sometimes with a pink-ish tint if they’ve lived in the Overworld long enough. Pale pink to be exact.

But when it came to the smell, Void creatures’ blood was metallic alongside a scent of-

“Jasmine.”

What.

“It smells like Jasmine.”

Only void creatures had the scent in their blood.

“But it’s stronger with them, they bleeding a lot if it’s this strong from far away.”

No.

“It’s getting stronger by the second-cough-they’re getting near us- Minute?”

Nononono-

Not him please.

By the time Lomedy had finished speaking, the intruder was at the entrance of the room. Showing themselves to the people.

And Goddammit, Minute had never felt so much anguish upon seeing him.

But that wasn’t even the worst part of the events. Even until now, Minute still felt guilt and the feeling of despair whenever he thought about him.

“…Spoke?” Minute asked, scanning Spoke’s features.

His bandana was dirtier and shorter, ripped from the ends. He had only a chestplate on, but it was on the verge of breaking. His body was littered with freshly healed scars and injuries a normal person shouldn’t even withstand, but he was persistent enough to endure all of it to go here. And he had his neck wrapped in a bandage that was starting to fall apart, letting Minute see that there was a scar across his throat. His hands were fully frosted, he was stressed.

His breath hitched as Spoke’s eye lit up with recognition. Minute couldn’t believe his eyes, he didn’t want to believe that this had happened to his son.

“Spoke…? Is that you?”

As Minute had uttered the words, Spoke almost immediately ran to him, clinging onto him like a lifeline that would go away the moment he removes his grip on him.

Minute hugged him back instantly. Running his hand in Spoke’s hair and clutching him tight in an attempt to comfort him. He repeatedly shushes and tells him “It’s okay” over and over again, not only for Spoke, but also for him.

He swears he heard someone in the crowd gasp and drop a mace or something heavy.

Spoke buried his head deeper in Minute’s chest, he could feel it getting damper by the second as he cried silent tears. But he couldn’t care less about that right now. His son was here, injured but here, and that was all he needed to know. He took note of the fact that Spoke was only shaking and making small noises such as hiccuping and sniffling.

As if struck out of a trance, Flame, Theo, and Parrot rushed over to cabinets or chests in search for medical supplies. Lomedy, Egg, and Reina had went over to the two, mainly to look over Spoke’s injuries. Wemmbu dashed to the center of Flame’s base, then searched through every room in the case someone had followed his brother.

Then disaster struck.

Lomedy was looking over Spoke’s vitals when it happened.

They noticed he was on critical health, so they prioritized getting health pots to regenerate him before getting him to eat.

Minute had backed away so they could look over him. Wemmbu had come back already after a thorough search and held onto Minute to keep himself clearheaded.

They removed his armor for further inspection while getting the supplies.

And just as Lomedy had tiltled Spoke’s head to the side to check the neck wound,

in a blink of an eye, someone had shot an arrow from above.

And all their communicators pinged in sync.

Then the voidling dropped to the floor, unmoving.

No. Nononono-

He shoves someone away from him, going to his son and also pushing them away. He could care less about who it was right now.

All he wants is his son to be alive safe.

He wants to deny what just happened.

Blood was gushing out of the wound. A lot. The wound was fresh and was not healed well. The wound had re-opened.

He removes the arrow carefully and tries to cover the wound with no avail. Staining his hands with pale pink blood. He resorts to hugging Spoke as if he were a fragile toy.

He mumbles Spoke’s name. Telling him it’ll be okay. That papa was here now. Over and over and over again.

He knows it’s no use at this point.

But he doesn’t want to accept it yet.

He didn’t want to.

After the encounter, everyone had grieved in seperate ways. The ones who were mainly affected by his death were his brothers and parents.

Parrot had drowned himself in his work as king, and if there was none, he would go to their favorite field where they played for hours on end just to reminicse their playful times. There was a day where Parrot had broke down after a dream because he couldn’t reach Spoke anymore, nor could he use his voice to talk to him. Minute had made him a small plush that resembled Spoke with his tail and everything. He knows it cannot ever replicate the cold yet comforting touch the voidling gave everyone with his frosted hands but it was enough for Parrot to be able to hold his younger brother in his hands again, safe and sound.

Wemmbu had decided to expand and redesign his overworld base by a lot, from many rooms to just empty ones just so he could cope by building and gathering materials, managing to release his anger to enemies or mobs that faced him. He had tried to make a room based on Spoke so he could imagine his smile. But he couldn’t. Spoke’s last face in that position had still haunted him. Wemmbu had come to Minute a few times because he couldn’t remember his silly little smile anymore. Minute gave him photos of the voidling but most were blurred or had a small serious smile on him, but that was enough for him to stay calm.

Flame had moved bases, rebuilt a new one with courtesy of the LAW and Parrot himself. They had moved to a different Mesa biome so it was still spacey for a spar or two, though he still visits the old one just to grieve Spoke. Sometimes, he talks to the memorial just so he could fulfill his want of talking to Spoke again, but he’s it doesn’t help that Flame has a small case of photophobia and synesthesia, specifically chromesthesia. He gradually started to forget what color Spoke was assigned to because he couldn’t hear his voice anymore. Minute had given him voice recordings to the best he could but none had contained the voidling’s natural tone, yet that was enough for the netherborn to remember Spoke’s faint rainbow again.

Flame had to be the one to break the news to his uncles, Branzy and Clownpierce, who were Spoke’s first adoptive parents in the server.

Minute wasn’t there so he didn’t know all the details, but from what Flame told him, Branzy didn’t take it well. Which was expected from the sentimental parent, especially the one who had first interacted with the voidling and claimed him as his father. Clown was taken aback by what he heard, also denying it at first, but after seeing Flame’s face in the conversation he left the room. It wasn’t until Flame came across a cluttered and thrashed room, a room that was previously organized the way Clown had wanted it, that he realized Clown was angry at the fact his son was dead and didn’t nor could he do anything about it.

What was supposed to be a day of celebration for the server had turned into a day of mourning.

But it also became the start for the avenge of the voidling.

Rain had started to pour heavy in the base, soaking the people wet and bathing the floor with Spoke’s blood. Thunder started to fill the silence left by the group. Lighting to accompany the shadow looming above them.

A shadow?

Minute was still hugging Spoke when he looked up towards where the shadow had appeared from.

An invisible figure was standing over them on the open roof on Flame’s base.

They were wearing netherite with emerald trims. They had a bow in their hand which appeared to had just been used.

That bastard.

Minute wanted to lunge at the figure but Wemmbu beat him to it, macing them but to no avail as they used an enderpearl prior to teleport in front of Minute.

He could feel them staring into his eyes despite the invisibility. He was reminded of his days back in the Mafia for just a split second before they removed the boy’s bandana and casting it to the side, then pulled out a fishing rod on their off hand and pulled it.

That meant one thing, they wanted to assert dominance and helplessness onto Minute, escaping to somewhere where they couldn’t find the perpetrator of his son’s death.

But instead…

…Minute felt the weight on his arms dissipate into nothingness.

Then they also stasised away from the crime. Leaving everyone to stare and process at the mess that just happened.

Leaving Minute to stare at the floor covered with pale stains that slowly wash away from him.

Minute had replayed that scene in his head over and over again. It haunted him everywhere. The fear of losing someone through death was one thing, but to take away their bodies as well was messed up in so many ways. Minute had cried a lot during the first month, void creatures were a species that claimed each other as their own, even ones from other species because they were not bound by blood but rather a genuine, familial connection between the two species.

He read it from a book, but it was like how chicks imprint on the first thing they see from hatching and latch on to it because they see them as protection. But unlike the book, void creatures that are imprinted on gradually get a sense of maternal instinct and claim the chick as their own once they begin becoming aware of it. Minute couldn’t explain why because there were little to no books or documentation about void creature, but it’s the best he could explain given his experience with 4 children.

Achieving the familial connection was the easy part of the process, but losing that connection takes a toll on the other void creatures’ mental state.

Minute had fallen into an awful depression after they set the memorial for Spoke. He kept blaming himself for not being able to protect his young. Not going out to eat or drink, prompting Wemmbu or Flame to keep him in health. Even going back as far as to drink slow falling potions just to literally clear his head into fogginess.

It wasn’t until Spoke’s birthday that he got out of the trance.

The one day he could see everyone in the family gather for one special occasion. The one day he could see Spoke’s mouth curled up in genuine joy after seeing his home in one place. The one day, even in the toughest of times, he could see his son’s eyes light up for a little.

Despite everything, he could never forget his baby’s birthday.

Even after Spoke had done the exploits, after the Mafia, after every single thing he has done, Minute always celebrated those birthdays and came to Spoke himself wishing him a Happy Birthday. Even after their last argument after the LAW war, he never stopped thinking about him.

Even in death, he wanted his son to be happy and know that hes loved in any way he could think of.

After he got his bearings, he arranged a meeting between the people who were present at the event. And he swore to himself that he would catch that fucker that did this to his son. No one at the meeting disagreed, because everyone was onboard with catching the invisible player.

Though there was no exact plan nor end date, they all agreed to stay in contact and immediately tell the others about potential clues that could lead them to the one behind the slaugther of his son. Though this would have to stay under wraps as someone could use it against them. And so the not-plan had commenced.

For as long as the player was alive, they would not escape the wrath of a grieving father and family.

It had been months since then, and there were little to no clues that led back to the player, either they were very good at hiding their traces or someone was helping them get away with this. Every clue they’ve gotton lead to a player who was framed or a dead end.

The only lead they had was that armor trims they had, and the arrow they shot. They had tried to use the arrow exploit but only lead to another dead end in a way. They had almost managed to get the exploit to work but another invis player in purple trims had snatched the arrow before they could determine the exact direction of the owner.

All they had was that it was located somewhere in the North, but it couldn’t be trusted just yet because they could move from one place to another, so Minute had taken the initiative to search that area alone while the others tried other locations.

Now in the present, he searches for the third time this week.

It had been a year since then, and he still couldn’t get over his death. Not even his own family and companions did either. Though they are slowly healing from it, it was just too much.

But this was the one mission keeping them steady and sane to enact vengeance for their fallen family member. Getting closure for the voidling’s fate was more than enough for them to move on from this whole situation.

As Minute was thinking about Spoke once more, he sees something dark enter his peripheral vision for a split second, and this gets him to stop mid-flight and turn back.

As he neared, the obsidian had started to become identifiable from a distance. He kept his distance from the structure but circled around it to check if it had any possible traps or guards. After seeing there were none, he tries to go up to enter from above.

As he flew, he thought about why a player would build something to this scale far away from the server. Was it a prison? A small civilization in the making? A hideout? There were many possibilities running through his head.

Upon reaching the edge of the wall, he took not of how it was 10 blocks thick, enough for a person to be out of range from seeing another’s nametag. When he got to the top, he expected one of the things he thought earlier, but upon looking to the other side, he was instead in awe of what he saw. A whole mini-world was inside this structure.

iIt had contained all the biomes of the world, from the mesa to the swamps, a one to ome recreation with a building in the middle that he assumed was the base of this whole thing. And from afar, he could see even their respective animals were there, like parrots and mooshrooms.

But as he tried to descend, he was blocked by a mysterious force, keeping him from reaching the mini-world.

Barrier blocks.

It was impossible for a normal player to have exploited blocks in this server. If they have these, they must have had a connection with Spoke, because he was the one that first obtained these. Then he thinks a bit to the left, maybe the owner of the structure had a clue as why that is, maybe have a clue on who the redstone trim was!

It may not be the best course for him, but he’ll take no chances for a potential clue lurking around the corner.

So he flies away and goes around the structure one more time trying to look for clues. And he spots a chest in the distance.

Getting nearer, he also notices a sign by the chest.

It had been signed by Parrot, he could recognize his neat handwriting from afar.

Reading the sign, it said “Read the book in the chest. Or not, we don’t care.” Oh Parrot, always referencing the trends that stuck out to him. He chuckled for a second before heading to the chest beside the sign.

Inside the chest was a signed book by Parrot himself, titled “Read before proceeding.” A water bucket, some standard diamond survival gear, and food. And a newly crafted yet untouched spyglass.

He grabs the book first and opens it, reading the message.

Hello player,

If you are reading this, you should know that the place in front of you is abandoned, and is prohibited to outsiders unless you have permission from ParrotX2, the writer of the book.

But you aren’t gonig to read this, and even if you did, you’ll just ignore what I just said and enter the building anyways.

But if you are reading this, thank you.

In short, do not let your eyes decieve you. This place is a prison named the “Paragon”, made by an old… acquaintance of mine in order to keep someone they held dear safe from the outside world. But even after weeks of pampering the person, he still managed to oversmart the one keeping him“safe” and had killed them in an explosion.

He then came to me for help and had wanted to keep the area off-limits to any outsider. Because even when they betrayed him and his trust, deep down he knew they didn’t want his best friend to be in constant danger and had wanted him protected. Even going as far to build a mini-world for them to live in with everything they could need.

But it all had been in vain, he was determined to get out and get out he did.

Just as I stated, this area is off limits to anyone and is only allowed to come in if ParrotX2 gives their explicit permission, going inside without his permission will result in instant death via a trap and if not instant death, death to starvation.

The armor in the chest will not help. If you want to get in, speak with Parrotx2.

And lastly, do not touch the spyglass inside the chest, it is armed with a sensor to a trap surrounding the chest.

Signed, ParrotX2.

Damn, Minute didn’t know what to say to this but he was proud of Parrot, helping a player in need and making traps in advance to stop players from infiltrating the poor player’s memorial for their dead ex-friend.

But that also raises a question or two.

Who says no one had successfully infiltrated this prison yet? Why has Parrot not thought of the possibility of another player in the prison?

The inside was neat and clean, granted it was far away from Minute’s eye, but it seemed to him someone was living in here. There were no signs of overgrown flora, the houses weren’t breaking down, instead they were more renovated and newly built in a way. So many scattered blocks that didn’t feel natural and showed no signs on abandonment whatsoever.

So he took the book and flew away from the structure. Heading to the northern council to talk with Parrot. And to get his permission to explore the place. He thinks he’ll have to bargain with him for this. But anything is possible, and he'll take that chance.

Someone steps out of the shadows, an amethyst trimmed player puts their head in their hands and groans in annoyance.

“I’ve gotta tell them someone’s coming now. And it’s inevitable because it’s him. Fuuuu-”

⋆⁺₊⋆ ━━━━⊱༒︎ • ༒︎⊰━━━━ ⋆⁺₊⋆

“Hey,” He speaks to the player beside him, braiding their hair as they read a book.

“Hm?” They look up from their book and lock eyes with the one above them.

“How would you feel about a dolphin in out aquarium? Or maybe an axolotl?” He asked them, to which they nodded and raised two fingers to relay their message.

“Axolotls? Okay okay, I’ll find one for you, do you want anything else while I’m away?” He asked once more.

The boy was deep in thought before making their charade to the one asking the question. He gestures to his ears and proceeds to mimic someone singing.

“Hmm… a jukebox?’ They shake their head. “No? Okay uhh-

-A new pair of headphones? No either huh?”

After a bit of back and forth, they proceed to whack him with their frosted fingertipped hands after a few failed guesses.

“I yield I yield! Alright I know you, I haven’t forgotten to pirate music y’know? I’ll try to find some discs and rewrite their code for your music. Just jot down the ones you want and I’ll change it when I get back.”And he walks out of the room, violet bandana swaying around.

They run their hands to the back to their head and that’s when they remembered he didn’t finish braiding their hair, so they chase him down and knocks both of them down to the floor, tail flicking from side to side in annoyance.

“What the-! What are you… Oh.”

The house is filled with laughs and banter once more. Just like in the past year they’ve been managing together as siblings.

Notes:

hmm yes, mili songs as titles... many more artists to come
