Chapter Text
‘It’s not normal for a friend to know my passwords?’
‘Of course it’s not normal. Parrot, I thought you were the smartest bird out of all of us!’ The purple demon exclaimed.
‘I’m the BIGGEST bird, not the smartest, that’s reserved for Wifies, so cut the cap.’
‘You should try to communicate with him and tell him your boundaries.’ Flame cut in, finding the password corresponding to the puzzle.
Ding! You beat the escape room
An announcement popped up at the EXIT door as the quartet leave the escape room.
‘By the way, Happy birthday Spoke.’
‘Thanks birdie!’
Wemmbu catches on his attempt to steer away from the subject, pressing on.
‘Parrot, you really sure you don’t need to fix your boundaries with him? It won't be good if he has all your personal information-’
Parrot cuts him off, ‘It'll be fine, Wemmbu, don't worry about it too much.’
‘He's only protecting my information. I don't see anything wrong with that.’

Wifies, now staring at his scarlet, healing bruise, felt himself freeze over as the duo he promised to meet stared at him - Kenadian in a black tank top, unzipped green highlighted gaming hoodie, mini skirt, baggy yellow n’ green socks and sneakers and Wato with their usual pink tie and suit combo.
It wasn't hard to recount the events of yesterday to the duo. It was a tad bit hard not to feel stressed about their reactions.
‘How’s getting hit with a mace felt like?’ Kenadian hissed, passive-aggressive style, ‘I TOLD you to do a face call, or make sure to have a meditator so this won’t happen!’ They patted his arm gently, ears drooping, ‘ And now look at you! All bruised up…’
‘Don’t go too hard on him, Ken.’ Wato reminded the feline, ‘It wasn’t his fault that Harpion stumbled upon his talk, either.’
‘You suck at communication, honestly. You could've at least told them that you're meeting with P-’
‘Ken, it was fate. Wifies needs privacy as well!’
‘But if not for that, he wouldn't have gotten hurt-’
The two kept on bickering for a while, irritating the poor Wifies, who detested fights.
‘CAN YOU TWO STOP FIGHTING?!’
An unregulated outburst from him slipped out after a while, which caused them to shut up.
‘Please…I…nevermind.’ He took a deep breath, rebuilding his inner mind & script as he does so. Calming his mentality by 10%.
‘I need advice. I…don't want to lose my friends all over again. I want to become a better person…’
‘Get therapy, perhaps?’
‘Wato, that's too expensive, even for his dad, Evilfies. What? Don't stare at me like that. He spends too much money on robotics!
On another note, I suggest you should bond with them. Group activities, having fun. Sunshine and rainbow vibes.’ She pointed out, playing around with her hands
‘That's…not too bad.’
‘See? We solved it! Simple!’
‘I do advise to perhaps get counselling. The school does have social workers.’
‘You mean…Jumper and Ashton?’ Wifies recalled the staff list he saw quite a while ago.
‘Yeah. They're the main ones. Aside from a couple of others, but I think they're still in training.’ Wato mentioned.
‘I'll…keep that in mind. Thanks.’
‘No problem-’
The school bell rings, signalling the end of lunch and the start of break time.
‘Oh! The computer lab's open! I'm off to finish my perfect escape room now. See ya!’ Kenadian dashes away, her hair flying behind her as if they're going at mach speed.
‘...hm. I'm bored. Do you want to go to the library?’ Wato asks while standing up.
It was only then when Wifies realised that his friend was wearing a long dress underneath.
‘Sure.’ He chirped, and they both went off.

Harpion was, of course, bummed out. Although he was friends with Wifies for a month, they knew from the get-go that he had a loyal and fierce personality.
However, when he asked around, unless they previously had a good relationship/were friends; barely anyone thought he was a good person, yet never really...talked about their reason for saying so.
…so why was he framed as a villain? Of all things?!
They've seen the school's drama production – it was such a spectacular miracle that still left shivers in their heart when they recalled it, he did a great job at directing it. Someone with such talent at a young age…
And…he was apologising for something wrong. Shouldn't Parrot at least listen to him? And resorting to violence…it just isn't morally right!
‘I guess I'll go confront Parrot then.’ They muttered.
Harpion flew to the literature classroom since it was their next class after the break, and besides, Parrot was their main objective as they saw him in class after the incident yesterday.
Other than the bookshelves in the corner, it wasn’t really much different from homeroom classrooms.
They saw their teacher, Boomie, with his black antlers/horns and hot pink hair, reading a book behind his desk, and shifted their gaze to the tables and chairs.
A particular green avain caught their eye…
‘Parrot!’ Harpion called out, distracting the guy who was seemingly writing something on a notebook.
‘Is there..anything-oh. It's…you.’ His tone dropped.
‘I just wanted to know what happened. Wifies is a good man–’
‘How about you ask him yourself? I'm no storyteller.’
‘You're in literature class, and that's besides the point- you disregarded his apology and all! I just wanted a reason behind it!
‘It's between us. That's all-’
‘That's not true! The entire school seemed to know, and I'm only confused because I just got here! I just wanted an answer–’
‘Are you having a problem with them again~?’
A familiar purple demon bursts into the room.
‘Be quiet, Wemmbu.’
‘Sorry, Dr. Boomie.’ He politely apologised.
‘Anyways, where was I?’ He continued, tone and voice specifically lower, ‘Just so you know, your “friend” manipulated hundreds, including my poor friend here, and a lot of dumb shi-crap happened. I used to be under his control as well. Who knows when you'll be like his puppet? He must've brainwashed you into thinking that he was good! What a horrible man!’
‘Stop. Stop saying that!’
‘Oh, I'm not done yet! If give the chance, I'll bash that bastard's head with Gambit again and again and AGAIN—’
‘Wemmbu. Detention. Afterschool,’ Boomie's voice rings with authority, ‘You are not allowed to verbally assault anyone. Even if they're a bad person.’
‘But sir-’
‘And what did I told you when you first came in? I understand forgiveness is an option, but violence was never the answer–’
‘It's the question, and the answer is yes?’ Harpion murmured almost like a reflex.
‘Harpion, I understand the meme is funny, but it is not applicable to real situations. You are a bright student, so you should understand.’ Boomie reminded them.
‘Yes…sir.’
The bell rang as multiple students ran in ; class is about to start, after all.
