"Take a seat, Minute. I can't have my old friend standing so awkwardly like that in my presence." Ash gestured his hand towards a sofa on the right side of his room. As Minute take a seat, Ash stood up and move towards the sofa across from Minute's. He put his arms on his knees and stare at those pupiless white eyes as if trying to pierced through it.

"So? What's an End Guardian doing here? Surely you're not here without a good reason"

"I'm here with a reason, yes. I mean, It's pretty obvious what the reason is."

"I simply needed to make sure. I can't even believe you're here to be honest"

"That's fair. Given what I've been doing in the past 5 months, adopting a kid was....the last thing I'd done."

"Very well. I'll personally see this through. You can bring your kid here along with the required documents tomorrow."

"Sounds good. Thank you, Ash."

"What friends are for."

Minute stood up and walks towards the door slowly. He opened the door and closed it behind him with a soft click. But Minute didn't immediately go. He paused outside the closed door with an expression that made you wonder 'what is he thinking about?'.

After a brief moment of pause, he let out a long sigh and begin walking towards where the exit is. As he move through the halls, he glanced at classrooms once more.

"I really hope this goes well.." Minute mumbled to himself. As he reached the open field, he spread his demon wings and flew high up until he can see the area from above.

"Wemmbu, I'm back" Minute said calmly but enough to alert the little demon. Minute got zero response as he walks through the corridors of his home. Worried that something might happened while he was gone, he sped up his steps and searched for any signs of Wemmbu.

"Wemmbu!" Minute opens the door to Wemmbu's room with unnecessary force. That force snapped whatever Wemmbu was thinking about (again) while also made him jumped in shock. "Yea— what—?! Huh–" Wemmbu chocked up a surprised tone. "Oh thank God.. Why won't you respond to me earlier? I thought something happened here while I was gone" Minute finally let out a breathe of relief after seeing that everything was fine as it was before he left.

"Sorry, I was.. lost in thought." Wemmbu muttered as he gave a regretful look. "I'm not mad Wemmbu, im just worried." Minute knelt down to Wemmbu's level so Minute can see his face clearly and to let Wemmbu knew he's not mad or anything.

"I've got something to show you, let's go. I promise it'll worth your time" Minute said with a gentle tone as he offered his hand in front of the little demon. Wemmbu accept his offer and places his tiny hand on Minute's. Minute took Wemmbu towards his study room just a few steps away from Wemmbu's room.

The room itself was ordinary but Wemmbu's eyes immediately went towards Minute's armour and a pair of weapon he had never seen before. Minute places Wemmbu down on his sofa and went towards his desk to prepare the required documents necessary for his enrollment.

Wemmbu sat there awkwardly as he swings his leg in boredom. Before his mind wanders somewhere once again, Minute already knelt down beside him and on his hand was a small box.

"Is this for me..?"

"Yeah, I had it made specifically for you."

Minute presses the box on top of Wemmbu's palm, watching as the little demon opened the box. Inside was a tiara, decorated with a single piece of amethyst gem at its center. Minute had observed Wemmbu for quiet a while now and he noticed one thing, Wemmbu had a.... weird fixation on crowns even if Wemmbu tried to act indifferent about it.

But a crown was way too big for his head so Minute settled on a tiara and decorated it with a gem that matches Wemmbu's hair. Minute had definitely overdone it with the gift but he really wanted Wemmbu to know he's not alone anymore and that he had someone he could rely on from now on.

Wemmbu stare at the tiara in his hands. From anyone's perspective, it may seem like Wemmbu was upset or maybe didn't like the gift at all but that was far from the fact. The tiara ironically reminds him of his mentor.

His mentor didn't wore a tiara but he wore a crown on his head all the time... Well except when he was asleep. One time, Wemmbu hide his crown randomly at night as an act of rebellion since his mentor still refuse to taught him anything about PvP. His mentor wasn't even upset when he knew about it and just took a back up crown he had on his drawer and wore that instead.

It was a horrible feeling at the time, but now? It felt like one of his painfully precious memories he had with his mentor.

"Is it not to your liking?" Minute asked as he tries to masked a worry in his voice.

"No! I mean.. I don't hate it at all.." Wemmbu exclaimed before he calmed himself down. "It's... Alright. Thanks.." Wemmbu added as he smiled just a fraction before he hides it. Wemmbu couldn't admit he loves the tiara a lot more than what he let it shows on his expression and tone.

Minute could only smile since he can see just how much Wemmbu likes the gift and that alone was enough for Minute. Soon, Wemmbu would have to face a lot of chapters that life would throw at him. He'll need someone by his side to remind him and just be there for him, that's why he hope school would allow him to meet such a person.

"Okay, enough of that. We really need to prepare a lot of things. Tomorrow we'll meet the principal, buy new clothes for you and some school equipments for you to use."

"..... That's sounds so boring...."
