Chapter Text
Jin was getting a bit scared. He knew from what Yoongi said that Namjoon would be ok, but it was getting a bit more worrying as Namjoon was still unconscious. He knelt holding onto his hand, hoping against hope that he would wake up soon. All Jin wanted to do was hug him as long as possible.
He looked over at the others. Jimin was asleep on Hoseok's chest and Hoseok was still combing a hand through his hair absentmindedly, his mind seemingly somewhere else, as Yoongi stared at the mansion.
Then, Jin heard a groan and he immidiately turned his attention back to Namjoon who was starting to wake up. He groaned and clutched his head, groaning as he got up slowly.
"Namjoon!" He practically screamed and wrapped his arms around him tightly, not daring to let go.
He didn't know he was crying until Namjoon put a comforting hand on his back and shushed him softly. Jin's shoulders were shaking and tears were cascading down his face, but he didn't care. His lover was ok.
"I'm so happy you're ok," Jin mumbled, still clutching him tightly.
"I'm happy that you're ok," Namjoon replied as he wrapped his arms around Jin as well.
Jin didn't even notice the 3 other pairs of eyes on them. Hoseok and Yoongi were startled by his scream and Jimin sat up so fast he his Hoseok in the chin, but their focus was now on the reunited couple. It was heartwarming and Jimin found himself smiling at them.
He sighed and looked back at the mansion and shuddered and Hoseok pulled him back into his lap and held him tightly, it reminded Jimin that he was safe and not in any danger.
Suddenly, Yoongi stood up.
"Where are you going?" Jimin asked softly.
Yoongi looked back at him and then at the mansion.
"They should be back by now...." Yoongi said as he gazed back at the mansion,"I'm going to go look for them."
Hoseok's eyes widened,"But it's not safe...."
"Yeah, but they should be back by now," Yoongi said as he started walking back to the mansion.
Jimin watched him go with concern, but Hoseok held him tighter,"He's going to be fine. He's Yoongi after all."
Jimin smiled at him, but continued to look towards the mansion with fear and worry.

Yoongi walked towards the mansion with a frown painted on his face. He didn't really know where they were, but the last explosion was near the throne room. And that was the place where Taehyung would eventually end up if Bambam was right in that Taehyung was in the execution room.
He was probably in the throne room by now. Considering that they weren't back yet, it was a safe bet that they were there. He needed to get there without attracting attention so he went around the mansion and into one of the side doors and quickly hid behind a pillar and he peeked around.
No guards....strange...
He continued down the hallway, eyes and ears alert for any sounds. He continued and made it to the throne room without any problems, but it irked him that he didn't see any guards.
He frowned and put his back to the throne room door and listened in. His eyes widened. There were the telltale signs of a speed fight and he opened the door quietly and found Taehyung who was behind Yugyeom and Bambam. Yoongi guessed that Jungkook was the one who was fighting with the... King?
Yoongi snuck into the room quickly and made his way around the darkened areas until he was directly behind Taehyung.
He was about to grab him when suddenly, he vanished.
Yoongi blinked in surprise.
What the hell??
He searched around the place and found Jungkook on the ground, groaning. Bambam and Yugyeom were on the ground and the king was holding Taehyung up by his neck.
How the hell did that happen so fucking fast?!
He hid back into the shadows as he watched the seen unfold. It seemed like the King hadn't noticed his appearance at all.
Jungkook was covered in scratches and struggling to get up and Yugyeom and Bambam were out cold. Most likely had their blood sucked....already?
Well, they weren't withering away, so Yoongi was relieved, but it only lasted a second as he looked at Taehyung. He was starting at the King with wide eyes. He was scratching at the hand at his throat, choking.
"Think you can get rid of me that easily?" He asked, his eyes glinting red,"Think again!"
He bent down and before Yoongi could react, Taehyung's scream ripped through the room.
His blood was getting sucked.
He watched in horror as Taehyung and Jungkook went limp. He pushed himself back against the wall and covered his mouth tightly.
The man dropped Taehyung and laughed.
"Delicious," he said as he licked his blood stained lipped.
Yoongi was staring wide eyed. If Jungkook wasn't able to defeat him, there's no way he would be able to. Just as he was about to go attack the King, he heard a gasp.
Taehyung got up. He was shaking all over, but he sat up with a gasp.
Yoongi's mouth fell open. It's only been about 10 minutes.
How the hell...
The King smiled at Taehyung.
"Welcome back," he said in an icy voice,"Can't wait to feast on you again."
Then, Jungkook suddenly shot off the floor. He was breathing hard and he wasn't shaking as much as Taehyung, but he was up as well.
"Oh, what do we have here?" The man sneered.
He looked from Jungkook to Taehyung and he seemed to piece it together.
"Ahhh, soulmates," he said, smiling that sinister smile,"Well, that's a pleasant surprise."
Jungkook was looking at Taehyung who was staring at the ground, his hands shaking as he help them in his lap.
Yoongi was still surprised from them both waking up so quickly. He didn't understand, it didn't make any sense. Yugyeom and Bambam were both still on the floor, out cold. Yoongi wanted to check on them, but he couldn't compromise his position in the shadows.
Then, the King strode over to Taehyung and Jungkook immidiately started to get up, to get to Taehyung, but he wasn't strong enough and his legs gave out from under him as the King smiled at him and locked onto Taehyung's neck. Taehyung was limp in his hold. He looked like he gave up. Jungkook's heart broke.
Yoongi's had it.
He ran up to them and ripped Taehyung from his grasp and held him tightly away from the King and Yoongi noticed how much he was shaking.
The King turned his attention to him. It was of surprise and then of anger, but Yoongi kept glaring at him. Jungkook was staring at Yoongi with shock and surprise.
"Another one, eh?" The King said,"The more the merrier!"
The King laughed and Yoongi felt Taehyung flinch against him.
"It's ok, it's ok, Taehyung," Yoongi whispered quietly.
Then, the man lunged for Taehyung and Yoongi's eyes widened and he quickly turned so his back was facing the man and expected a blow, but there wasn't one. He frowned and turned, Jungkook was blocking him. A glare directed at the King.
"Oh, strength back I see?' The King said, sounded disinterested.
Then, they started to fight again. Yoongi backed away into the shadows as they fought, concealing them in darkness.
"Taehyung?" Yoongi asked softly when Taehyung continued to bury himself in Yoongi's shirt,"Hey, you ok?"
Taehyung hesitated before nodding his head, but didn't pull away. Yoongi sighed softly and continued to hold him until Taehyung spoke up again.
"How's Jimin?" He muttered softly.
"He's fine," Yoongi said, wondering how Taehyung could ask about his friend in this state.
"Ok, that's good,"Taehyung said quietly.
He was still trembling softly and Yoongi frowned and pulled Taehyung off of him and what he saw broke his heart.
Taehyung was crying. Tears were streaming down his face, but he still only asked about Jimin.
"Taehyung-" he started, but was cut off from the commotion in the middle of the room.
They had stopped fighting and Jungkook stood over the man, flashing his fangs angrily at the King. His eyes were glowing red and the man looked straight at where Yoongi and Taehyung hid and he smiled, eyes flashing crazily.
"You know, I've always wondered what it was like to have a human soulmate," the King said as he didn't tear his eyes away from them,"How they would feel if I sucked their blood."
Jungkook's eyes flashed.
"How they would squirm in my grip before going limp and then waking up and doing it all over again," He laughed and it made shivers run down Yoongi's spin and Taehyung started to shake more,"How delicious they must taste..."
Jungkook snapped and dove for his neck, sucking all the blood out of him as the King continued to laugh and stare at Taehyung before his eyes became lifeless and he withered away. Jungkook sat in the room and stared at the ground.
Then, the whole place started to shake.
"Shit," Yoongi cursed,"This place is going down."
Jungkook's eyes widened and he looked towards Taehyung and Yoongi. Eyes wide and terrified. Yoongi quickly stood up, bringing Taehyung with him and gave him to Jungkook who looked at him bewildered.
"Yugyeom and Bambam," Yoongi said and Jungkook's eyes widened and they flashed over to where they were.
His looked so lost and confused that Yoongi's heart hurt looking at him.
"Look, just get Taehyung outside, ok?" Yoongi said quickly as pieces of rock started to fall on their heads,"You'll find Jimin and the others outside near the forest, ok? Go!"
He pushed them and Jungkook nodded at him, eyes lingering over his friends before going back up to Yoongi and leaving.
Yoongi turned to where they were and was surprised to find Yugyeom wide awake and looked around with confusion and fear.
"Yugyeom!" Yoongi said and Yugyeom looked at him,"Grab Bambam, we need to go!"
Yugyeom frowned and turned over to where Bambam was and his eyes widened. He froze for a moment.
"Yugyeom!" Yoongi shouted and Yugyeom jumped before running and picking Bambam up and running out right behind Yoongi.
Bigger chunks of rocks were falling and Yoongi cursed again as one particular one almost crushed them.
"Come on," Yoongi urged when Yugyeom was lagging behind.
He was staring off into space and Yoongi knew why, you were always disoriented whenever you woke up from getting your blood sucked. It was horrible and Yoongi could only imagine how disorienting it was for Yugyeom especially when his soulmate was passed out in his arms.
He grabbed Yugyeom's arm and started to pull him along, needing him to move so that they could get out.
Then, after a little bit, they made it to the entrance, but the rocks were falling fast.
"Hurry!" Yoongi shouted and they ran and made it out of the entrance right as it shut and the building collapsed on itself.
Yoongi was on the ground, panting and Yugyeom was next to him, staring at the building in horror. Taehyung and Jungkook weren't far away, Jimin hugged the life out of Taehyung as Jungkook watched with a smile.
When Jimin noticed him, however, Jimin pulled away from Taehyung and ran towards Yoongi with his arms outstretched and jumped on him and hugged him tightly, Yoongi hugged back.
"Oh my god!" Jimin sobbed into his neck,"I was so worried, you have no idea! I was so scared!! I was watching the entrance and as soon as Taetae ran out I hugged him tightly and I was so happy, but-but you weren't out yet and I became worried and then-then you showed up!!! And-and-"
"Jimin, Jimin, calm down," Yoongi muttered into Jimin's hair as he started to hyperventilate, panic attack sure to happen,"Its ok, I'm here, I'm ok, everything's going to be fine."
Jimin nodded into Yoongi neck and he sighed as he kissed the top of his head.
He looked over at Bambam and Yugyeom. Yugyeom was still staring at the building. Bambam was starting to stir in his arms. When Bambam opened his eyes, he slowly got out of Yugyeom's arms and frowned at him.
"Yugyeom?" Bambam asked softly,"You ok?"
Yugyeom was still staring at the building and Bambam turned his head and gasped, eyes wide and hand coming up to cover his mouth.
"W-what happened?' He asked Yugyeom, shock written all over his face.
When he turned around however, Yugyeom was crying, tears were running down his cheeks.
"Gyeomie?' He asked confused,"What's wrong?"
"I....I was in there with....with you in my arms," he said, eyes wide with fear,"I-we-we almost died...You almost died!"
Yugyeom was staring at Bambam with wide terrified eyes and Bambam was quick to embrace him and hug him tightly. He had a idea of what had happened. Yugyeom had woken up from getting his blood sucked to the building collapsing and he couldn't even fathom how Yugyeom even managed to get out of the building being so disoriented like that, but when he turned his head and saw Jimin and Yoongi hugging, he had a feeling.
"It's ok now, Gyeomie," Bambam said as he smiled at Yugyeom,"We're ok, I'm ok, you're ok, everyone's ok."
Yugyeom slowly nodded and Bambam smiled at him as they hugged again.

When Taehyung and Jungkook made it outside, Jungkook immidiately turned and tended to Taehyung who was still shaking badly, but before he could, Jimin pounded on them and hugged Taehyung tightly, muttering incoherent things in Taehyung's chest, yet Taehyung still smiled.
Jungkook's face softened as he looked at them and then suddenly, the whole building collapsed and they all looked over and found Yoongi laying the grass as Yugyeom holding Bambam outside of the building.
Jungkook sighed, relieved that they were ok and Jimin ran over to them. Jungkook, however, was watching Taehyung with a calculating stare. He was still trembling from head to toe and it made Jungkook really worry.
"Taehyung?" He asked quietly and went over to tap his shoulder and as soon as he did, Taehyung crimped and Jungkook gasped, quickly catches Taehyung,"Taehyung!"
Jungkook pulled him into an embrace and feels Taehyung's head loll on his shoulder. He was now very worried. He didn't know what to do. Hoseok was watching from a distance and Jin and Namjoon were watching with a worried look.
Jungkook frowned in worry as he picked up Taehyung's limp body as traveled over to where the others were. Hoseok was looking at Taehyung with worry. Jungkook noticed the dark bags under his eyes and how hollow his cheeks had become as well as how light he has become and Jungkook's heart clenched with pain.
Jungkook noticed the many bite marks on his neck and he had to looked away. It was too painful to look at.
"Lets go home," Jin said as he placed a comforting hand on Jungkook's back and Jin called the others.
"Um...can....can we come with you guys?" Bambam asked softly.
Jin and Namjoon looked and them and smiled widely,"Of course."
----
Once they arrived back at their house, they all went to their room without another word. Jin and Namjoon went into their room together and pulled Hoseok with them, knowing how much he must be hurting as well. Bambam and Yugyeom moved into Jimin's now vacant room and Jimin and Yoongi traveled to Yoongi's room as Jungkook carried Taehyung to their room.
Jin and Namjoon went into their room and immidiately cuddled together and saw Hoseok awkwardly standing in the doorway, seemingly looking like he wanted to leave, but at the same wanted to cuddle with them.
Jin smiled and held his arms open, welcoming him and Namjoon smiled at him softly. Hoseok caved and all but jumped into his arms and curled into his embrace, trembling slightly.
Jin moved so that Hoseok was in between them. Hoseok was sniffling slightly and Jin knew that he must be embarrassed for crying in front of them, so he didn't say anything, just combed his hands through his hair as Namjoon rubbed Hoseok's back comfortingly.
He's been through a lot in the past few weeks and he deserves as much cuddling as he needs.
After a little while, Hoseok's breathing evened out and his vice like grip on Jin's arm loosened slightly and Jin pulled away slightly and saw Hoseok's sleeping face as well as the tear tracks apparent on his cheeks. Jin smiled sadly as he pulled him into his chest again.
"Poor Hobi has been through too much," Jin said quietly, as to not wake him.
"I know, he doesn't deserve it at all," Namjoon replied and sighed sadly.
"I love you," Jin said after a beat of silence.
Namjoon smiled at him,"I love you too."
And with that, they fell asleep.

Yugyeom and Bambam went into the room and Bambam pulled Yugyeom along who was still a bit disoriented. It hurt Bambam to see his soulmate like this. He just seemed so lost and confused and it hurt his heart.
He pulled Yugyeom onto the bed and just hugged him tightly, waiting for him to come back to him. After a scare like that, Bambam can only imagine how terrified Yugyeom must be.
He rocked them gently back and forth as he tightly hugged Yugyeom who had his arms loosely around Bambam.
After a little while, Bambam felt Yugyeom's shaking and he closed his eyes as he felt sobs shaking his body.
"It's ok," Bambam whispered,"I'm here, you're here, you're safe."
Yugyeom sontinued to cry for a while longer, no doubt the scare making itself known in Yugyeom's mind. Bambam continued to comfort him as shush him quietly.
After a long time, Yugyeom calmed down and his breaths evened out expect for that hitched breath.
Suddenly, Yugyeom spoke in the silence,"I'm sorry."
"What are you sorry for Gyeomie?" Bambam asked as he pulled away and saw his soulmates puffy face.
"For being a burden to you," He replied, looking away.
"You're not a burden, what are you talking about?"
"I literally just showed every bit of my pathetic-ness to you."
"Gyeomie, look at me."
He complied.
"You are not pathetic and you are not a burden, I love you just the way you are, you are perfect in every way possible."
Yugyeom felt tears prick at his eyes again.
"You're too good for me, I don't deserve you," Yugyeom said softly.
"You deserve me as much as I deserve you, you are perfect," Bambam replied, looking at Yugyeom in the eye.
"I love you, Bammie," Yugyeom said, a watery smile forming on his lips.
"I love you too, Gyeomie," Bambam replied.
Yugyeom kissed him on his lips briefly and they laid together on the bed, embracing each other and eventually fell asleep like that.

Yoongi and Jimin immidiately went to the bed and laid down next to each other. They just laid there, holding each other. There was no words to be said between them. They just embraced and stayed like that, everything was being said through that hug and they fell asleep just like that.
----
Jungkook carried Taehyung into their room and put on the bed and laid next to him. He watched him with a sad look. Taehyung was too precious for this world. He didn't deserve any if this and Jungkook couldn't help but think that if he paid more attention to Taehyung and protected him more, he would be ok.
Jungkook sighed and sat up, thinking. He couldn't stop that one thought going through his mind.
It's your fault, you made him like this all because you couldn't protect him.
Jungkook looked down at his hands sadly. They were still shaking and he stared at them for a while.
Suddenly, another hand was on his own and his eyes widened as he whipped his head up. Taehyung was smiling at him, exhaustion radiated off of him, but through that touch and the small smile Taehyung gave him, he knew he was forgiven.
He smiled sadly at Taehyung and Taehyung pulled his arm weakly. Jungkook smiled and laid down next to him.
Taehyung smiled at him.
"Thank you for everything, Jungkook," Taehyung whispered softly.
"No, I should be thanking you," Jungkook said, shaking his head.
Taehyung smiled.
"I love you so much, Kookie," Taehyung said, eyes starting to close.
"I love you too, so much," Jungkook said and kissed Taehyung's forehead.

4 years later....
December 30
Jin smiled as he put dish after dish on the table, trying to be as quiet as possible, glancing at the staircase every now and then. Namjoon was helping him set the table as Yoongi and Jimin were decorating a cake in the living room. Yugyeom and Bambam were decorating the place and Jungkook was distracting Taehyung in his room.
Jin smiled at Namjoon as they finished. Yoongi and Jimin had lit the candles on the cake and they turned off the lights.
Suddenly, the door upstairs opened and they heard giggling.
"Kookie, where are you taking me," Taehyung giggled.
You'll see," Jungkook replied.
Taehyung giggled again and Jungkook saw Jimin and Yoongi and smiled at them as he led Taehyung to the table.
"Sit here," Jungkook said and Taehyung sat down.
"Where am I?" Taehyung asked,"What's going on?"
Yoongi and Jiminplaced the cake in front of him and Jungkook took off the blindfold and immidiately, everyone starting to sing.
"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Taetae, happy birthday to you!!" Everyone sang.
"Make a wish, Taetae," Jimin said, smiling
Taehyung smiled, tears coming to his eyes, but he closed his eyes and just wished that everything would stay as it was because his life was amazing and blew out the candles and everyone cheered as someone turned on the lights.
"Happy Birthday, baby," Jungkook said as he kissed his nose.
Then, Jungkook smiled wickedly and took some frosting and put some one his nose and cheek and smiled in triumph.
"Hey!" Taehyung said and smiled before he took a hand ful and swiped it on Jungkook's forehead down to his left jawbone.
Jungkook playfully glared at him and Jimin was laughing and Taehyung took this chance to swipe a bit of frosting on Jimin's cheek and smiled in triumph before Jimin got him back by putting more frosting, this time on his forehead as Jungkook swiped it across his neck.
6 years ago, Taehyung thought his life was over because he was soulmated to a vampire, but in reality, it was the best thing that has ever happened to him and he won't change that for the world.
