Chapter Text

Over the next few weeks, Yoongi made sure that Jimin was with him whenever possible. If he was composing, Jimin was next to him. If he was cooking, Jimin sat on the counter out of the way. At night they shared the bed, limbs tangled together as they slept soundly. During downtime, they’d watch whatever was on TV. Despite how often they were together, they didn’t get tired of each other. Sometimes Jimin would go out with Taehyung and Jungkook, sometimes Yoongi would go with them. Sometimes when Jimin came home after a day away, Yoongi would be on the phone with Namjoon. Jimin could vaguely remember Yoongi mentioning the other, saying they were good friends and worked together. Overall, it was nice. But with Yoongi about to go back to work at the studio, he was worried about what would happen to the progress he and Jimin had made.

The solution had actually come from Jin, although indirectly. Namjoon was supposed to pick him up from the apartment for their usual carpool and Jin had convinced him to stop so they could get coffee. And when they had walked up to the flat, bickering over whether or not the hybrid would like the coffee they brought, loud enough that Yoongi had heard them down the hall and had the door open to greet them before they arrived, Jin told Yoongi to confirm the coffee order. He knew that it was something extra sweet in comparison to his americano with an extra shot, but he couldn’t tell you the specifics, having only been out for coffee with him a handful of times.

“I’d actually check with Kook or Tae, I don’t know it off the top of my head.” He gave the men in front of him a small smile and shrugged before gesturing for them to step inside.

“That’s exactly what I did. Which means I know exactly what his order is.” The Bichon-Poodle hybrid walked in like he owned the place, walking through to the living room and setting the two cups he had in his hand down on the coffee table before reaching for one of the cups in his owner’s hands. “Thank you for holding my drink. Where’s Jimin? I want to meet him.”

“Hyung, you left your jacket in-” Jimin paused at seeing the new guests, unsure how to proceed he turned to Yoongi, brows furrowed in a question.

“Hi! You must be Jimin.” The taller hybrid pushed forward, grabbing one of the drinks from the coffee table. “This is for you. I got the order from Taehyung. I figured you’d probably be tired waking up this early to head to work with Yoongi. And I wanted to meet you.” He offered the cup to the younger with a large smile on his face.

“Um, hi. Uh, you are?” He tentatively reached for the drink being offered and glanced at Yoongi, fully grabbing the cup when he received a nod. “Thank you.”

“Jin, you’re going to overwhelm him. Besides, he isn’t even dressed yet, give him space.”

“Oh,” It seemed the thought hadn’t occurred to him and he sheepishly took a step back. “Sorry. I’m Seokjin. I’m Namjoon’s hybrid. But please call me Jin or hyung.”

“Nice to meet you Jin hyung.” Jimin smiled, eyes crinkling in happiness. “I’ve heard a lot about you and Namjoon hyung.”

“Let Jimin go get dressed, you can talk to him more on the way to work.” Jin nodded and the younger’s eyebrows furrowed again and he turned his attention back to Yoongi who just shrugged and gestured to the room.

While Jimin was getting dressed, they discussed what’s been going on in his absence. It didn’t take long for the hybrid to get dressed, coming out wearing dark jeans and a striped long sleeve shirt, heading to the door to slip on his shoes before following the three older men out.

Jin bombarded him with questions on the drive over and he was more than happy to answer, glad to have a new friend. When they actually arrived at the building, everyone greeted Yoongi and Namjoon, waving a bit to Jin. Yoongi waved the other two off and guided Jimin to the front desk.

“Jisoo, this is Jimin. We need to get him an access card.” Jimin smiled awkwardly at who Yoongi had introduced to him as Yoongi.

“Yes, sir. Basic access?” Jisoo’s voice was clear and reminded Jimin of wind chimes. Soft and musical.

“Give him the same access that I do. He’s my hybrid, but I don’t plan on keeping him locked up in my office. I’d like for him to be able to get into places I may not be around to let him in.”

“Yes, sir.” Jisoo frowned at the direction, but input the information she was given anyway under Yoongi’s watchful eye. “Please stand in front of the camera so we can take a good picture for your ID card.” There was a flash that momentarily blinded Jimin, and he blinked to clear the view before moving to stand next to Yoongi again. She clicked a few times on her computer before pushing a blank plastic card through a printer. Once that was done, she handed him the card. It was slightly warm but displayed his name, VIP access printed clearly under it. What really surprised him was that the card had his last name as Min. He smiled at that, happy and proud to be Yoongi’s.
