Chapter Text
Lexa smiled at Clarke when she saw the blonde munch happily on her sandwich. They had stopped at a small sandwich shopon the road and were eating inside one of Lexa's cars -the least noticeable one so she could fly under the radar-in the parking lot, because Lexa was short on time but still wanted to make good on her promise to spend as much time with Clarke as possible while they were together.
It was almost dark outside. The sun had started setting a few minutes ago and Lexa looked in awe at the colourful sky. Suddenly her vision was blocked by a body and she frowned.
“Yo, this is Lexa Woods! Hey, what’s up? What you doin’ in a trashy car like that? Yo, man, check this out, it’s this famous actress!” a man leaned against her open window, obnoxiously calling out to his friends while recording the two women inside the car.
“Um, do you mind?” Lexa said, frowning.
“Hey, what kind of car is this, Woods? I thought you were rich? You often eat in your car like that?” he laughed, “Who’s that with you? She’s cute.”
“Don’t.” Lexa warned.
“Oh come on! We’re just laughing here. Aren’t we, guys?” he got some noise of approval from the two friends he had called over, “No need to act like you're the shit just because you’re famous. We’re all just having fun here. What you doin’?”
Lexa tried to keep her cool because she knew he was recording everything and it wouldn’t be a good look to lose her temper right now but it was proving itself to be difficult.
“Bro, Lexa Woods eating dinner in a shitty car, that’s too funny, dude. Buy yourself a new car, ma’am! Can you do this thing like on your show with the knife? Look I got the same knife! Do it!” he threw the closed butterfly knife into the car.
Lexa calmly picked up the knife and tried giving it back, “I’m eating right now.” she let the knife fall to the ground when the man refused to take it back.
“Do the thing with the knife! Don’t be like that! We just wanna see it. No need to act pretentious like that.”
Lexa could see that Clarke was fuming on the seat next to her and she placed a hand on her thigh, squeezing it lightly as if to say don’t react. She was tense and it did not help that the man had a knife -a small one but a knife nonetheless-on him. Provoking him was not a good idea.
Calmly, she raised her gaze to look at the man, “I won’t do it. I’m busy right now.”
“Too busy for us? Come on! We’re just fans. Big fans, right guys?” he laughed along with his buddies, “Do the knife trick!”
“I’m not doing it, no.”
She was stuck. They were four guys and they were all around the car. She couldn’t leave her parking spot, let alone leave the car. She turned the ignition so she could close the window but his voice could still be heard and he started knocking on the window unrelentingly.
“Don’t ignore us! You’re so rude, just do the knife trick and we’ll go.”
“I’m not doing the knife trick. Can you please leave?” she asked, as calmly as possible but annoyance was seeping into her voice.
“Oh please, can you even do it? I know you can so just do it once and then-”
“She said no.” Clarke stepped in, “Please, leave us alone.”
“That’s no way to treat fans. No wonder you get such a bad rep. Buy yourself a better car! You got money but you eat in a car.” he laughed as if it was the funniest joke he had ever told. As if he hadn't been repeating the same thing for the past five minutes.
Clarke was shaking with anger and Lexa grabbed her hand to try and calm her down. In that moment, they saw the man turn around and caught a glimpse of a police officer that had walked up to them, undoubtedly after noticing the commotion.
“Everything alright, ma’am?” the officer asked.
Lexa rolled down her window, “Not quite. I’m just trying to eat in peace, please.”
The officer nodded, “Sir, I’m gonna have to ask you to step away from this vehicle and leave the area.”
The man scowled, “Bitch.” he mumbled before telling his friends that they were leaving, “Ungrateful bitch.”
The officer shook his head, “I’m sorry this happened, ma’am. Have a good evening. If they come back, call us. The precinct is only a couple blocks down.”
“Thank you for stepping in, Sir.” Lexa nodded in thanks.
“Just doing my job.” the officer smiled before walking away.
“What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck, what the-”
“Clarke.” Lexa kissed the back of her hand, “It’s okay. They were mostly harmless.” she bit into her sandwich after letting go of the blonde’s hand.
Lexa seemed calm and unaffected. And Clarke couldn't understand her, “How are you not angry right now?”
“It’s okay.” Lexa shrugged, “It happens.”
Clarke frowned, “How often exactly?”
Lexa sighed, “I don’t know. Every once in a while. Usually I’m with security or I can escape safely rather easily. It’s no big deal.”
“Lexa, shut up.”
“Excuse me?”
Clarke sighed, “I’m tired of you just accepting everything happening to you as if that was the cost you had to pay for your fame. It’s not. You shouldn't have to deal with assholes just like the rest of us don’t have to put up with it either. So what? You’re just gonna sit here and smile every time? Let them win every time?”
“I’m not letting them win, Clarke.”
“You are!”
“I have no choice!” Lexa snapped. Her expression softened when she saw Clarke wasn’t angry but rather worried, “They were recording, Clarke. If I get angry or show any kind of annoyance, shit gets thrown back right in my face. The media twists the story, only uses the parts of the video that suits them, and I look bad in the eyes of the public. I hate it but staying quiet is the safest bet when it comes to this.”
Clarke's face remained screwed up, “It’s unfair. It's so fucking unfair. How can you-”
“Shh…” Lexa grabbed her hands and moved to connect their foreheads, “It’s okay. I’m okay.” she lifted her head and kissed the blonde’s forehead.
“Shit, Lexa. I’m sorry I shouted at you. I just hate them so much.”
Lexa pulled away and scowled, “I know but you can’t keep freaking out about things...” she sighed, “That’s one of those things that I’ve learned to deal with.” she could understand where Clarke was coming from but she also knew that she didn’t like how little faith in her Clarke was showing at times.
Clarke frowned, “It’s affecting me too.”
Lexa mirrored Clarke’s expression, “I know.” she quietly said, “And that’s why I’m worried. What if you can’t deal with all of that? What if it gets too much and you just decide to leave? You're not the only one with doubts. I’ve been trying to ease your worries and I do it because I want you to feel secure in this relationship. I really do. But how are we supposed to move forward if the smallest things can set you off and then we're back to square one and I’m here praying that you’re not thinking of leaving? Because you would have so many reasons to.”
“Do you have such little faith in me?”
Lexa pinched the bridge of her nose, “Clarke, you keep saying things that make me think you’re about to bail! At this point I feel like you’re the one who has no faith in us.”
Clarke snapped her mouth shut and her brow furrowed. After a few seconds of silence, she looked up into Lexa’s eyes, “Is this really how you feel?”
Lexa sighed, “I don’t want to keep fighting with you and lately it seems like it’s the only thing we’re doing.”
“Lexa…” Clarke grabbed her hand, “I wish I could tell you that I have complete faith in this relationship but at the moment I can’t.”
“Where are you going with this? Just yesterday you said you didn’t want to break up…”
“And I still don’t!” Clarke insisted, “Lexa, I love you. I don’t want to break up. I just know that I need to work through my issues and I need to do that on my own and I know it’s not fair of me to keep dragging you into my own issues. I’m sorry…” she cupped Lexa's cheek, “But I’m trying.”
“So you don’t want to break up but you want what? To take a break? Should I give you some space?”
“Lex, we both know that taking a break isn’t going to fix anything. What I’m saying is, I realise now that I’m being unfair to you and I want you to tell me if I do it again. I need to trust this more. I need to work on my problems instead of hoping they’ll go away.” She leaned her forehead against Lexa’s, “And I need you to tell me whenever I’m straying away from that. Cause sometimes I don’t see it and I hurt you without even realising it. I need to learn to not do that anymore.”
“I just need you to show me that you’re all in, Clarke…” Lexa moved away and leaned her head against the window, staring off into the distance, “Because I’m all in. I want this. I want us. And I want you to feel like you can trust me.” she made wide hand gestures to emphasise her words.
“I do trust you.”
“Then showme!” Lexa said, tired of having the same conversation again and again, or at least a variant of the same conversation.
Clarke dropped her head, “I’m sorry.” she whispered, “I’m just really fucking this up, aren’t I?” she said, all torn up.
“You’re not, Clarke. It’s just that we used to be so good at communicating and now it just feels like we’re running in circles and I’m just trying to understand what I’m doing wrong for you to think that we won’t last…”
Clarke’s eyes widened, “No, Lex. This isn’t in any way your fault. You haven’t done anything wrong. It’s all on me. I’m the one who keeps messing up.”
“I just don't think I can handle knowing that the woman I love doesn’t believe in our relationship.”
“Are you breaking up with me?”
“No, Clarke.” Lexa frustratingly rubbed a hand over her face, “We already established that we didn’t want to break up.”
“What we want and what we need are two different things…”
Lexa closed her eyes, “You’re doing it again.”
“What?”
“Insinuating that maybe we need to break up because what? This isn’t going to last? Or because you’d be better off without me? Because the pressure is too much for you and you want an out? Just talk to me, Clarke!”
“I amtalking to you!”
“You’re not!”
Clarke took a deep breath to calm herself, “I love you.”
“I know.” Lexa looked at the window again with a scowl. She wished they could just communicate like they used to.
“Then you should know that I want to be with you more than anything.”
“But?”
“But nothing.” Clarke murmured, grabbing Lexa’s hand, sighing in relief when the actress didn’t pull away and looked at her, “I need a time of adjustment. And maybe I need to see that we can beat the distance and the ups and downs of your fame. I do have hope that we can beat all of that, Lexa. And maybe the next few months apart will be what I need to realise that my doubts are not justified and that we’ll be fine but now, when I’m with you, I anticipate the future and I just start freaking myself out for no reason other than being so damn scared of losing this.”
“What are you saying?” Lexa wasn’t sure where Clarke was going with this and she was growing frustrated.
“Do that movie, Lexa.”
Lexa’s eyes snapped up to meet Clarke’s, “Really?”
“Do that movie and then come back to me. And then I’ll know for sure that we can do this.”
Lexa cupped Clarke’s cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss, “So those months will be like a...free trial?”
Clarke scowled, “You make it sound so unromantic.”
Lexa chuckled, “Yeah, I used all my romanticism to woo you. I need time to reload.”
Clarke smiled, “We’re okay, right?” she asked, tracing Lexa’s jaw with her fingers.
“We’re okay.” Lexa confirmed.
“I love you.”
“I know. I love you too. And I’m going to call that producer to tell her I’m taking the role.”
----------
“Come here.” Lexa whispered, opening her arms.
“I don’t deserve for you to forgive me that easily everytime we argue.” Clarke said, staying stiff on her side of the bed.
“That's how you see it.” Lexa murmured, taking hold of Clarke’s hand, “I just really want to cuddle with my beautiful girlfriend while we still can.”
Clarke smiled timidly and scooted closer until her head was resting on Lexa’s shoulder.
“I’m gonna be shooting my last scenes of season four tomorrow.” the actress spoke, “I’ll be away for the whole day and I think I’ll only be back very late at night. You’ll probably be asleep already.”
Clarke nodded, “Okay.” she kissed Lexa’s jaw, “What scenes are you shooting?”
“I have a few with Luna, and one with Colman.”
“Colman is that tall, friendly guy who’s always around you, right?”
Lexa smiled at the description, “Yeah. He’s one of the people I get along with the most out of everyone.”
Clarke hummed, “I’ll miss you.” she slid her pointer finger along Lexa’s collarbone, “I have trouble falling asleep without you sometimes.”
“I’ll cuddle you as soon as I'm back. How’s that sound?”
“Like heaven.” Clarke mumbled tiredly, snuggling closer to her girlfriend and closing her eyes, “Goodnight.”
“ ‘Night.” Lexa replied quietly, “I love you.”
“Love you too.” Clarke managed to say before drifting off to sleep.
----------
“Clarke, you idiot.”
“Thanks…”
Raven threw a grape in the air and tried catching it into her mouth, grinning when she succeeded after three failed attempts.
“You realise you wasted three perfect grapes?” Clarke picked them up and threw them away.
Raven sat down at the kitchen counter, “Lexa is way too patient with you.”
“I know.”
“Why are you still so scared?”
Clarke looked away, “I don't know.”
“Lies.”
Clarke rolled her eyes, “Whatever reason I give isn’t going to be enough for you.”
“Maybe but try me.”
“I’m not good enough for her, Rae.” Clarke simply said, as if it was an undeniable truth, “And one day she’ll realise it.”
“Bullshit.”
“What?”
“That's bullshit. You’re creating problems all by yourself here.” Raven clicked her tongue, “I love you, Clarke, but you’re being really stupid right now.”
Clarke stayed quiet. She wrung her hands together and frowned.
Raven scooted closer and put a hand on Clarke’s knee, “Lexa has shown you how much she cared about you and you keep thinking she will leave you? Clarke, how do you want your relationship to move forward if you keep imagining worst case scenarios? Cause doing that only sets you back several steps.”
Clarke moved on the couch to lie on her back, “I know.” she rested her hands over her stomach, “I’m being a selfish brat.”
“You're insecure.” Raven shrugged, “But you can decide not to let those insecurities stop you. Especially knowing that they affect not only you but Lexa too.”
“She never really showed that it affected her before. Now she does and I’m happy that she does but I’m also wondering how long she’s been keeping all of that in.”
“Don’t start thinking about things like that cause you’ll just feel more guilty if you do. Just try to be better from now on. We only have a couple days left here and you’re spending them with me instead of being with her.”
“I doubt she would want me to meddle with her work.”
“I think she’d be thrilled if you came to visit.” Raven shrugged, “But what do I know?”
“Raven, she’s shooting her show right now. I can’t exactly step onto the set just like that.”
“You can call her hot sister and ask her to let you pass through security.” Raven shrugged.
“Anya?”
“Does she have another sister?”
“I’ll call her.” Clarke decided. It was either that or she stayed inside with Raven, trying to find something to do that they haven't yet.
“And bring me a glass of water on your way out!”
“I’m not your servant.”
“No but you’re my friend and you want me to be happy and water would make me really happy right now.”
Clarke rolled her eyes and brought Raven her water, “You don’t want to come with me?”
Raven shrugged, “I don’t think Anya would let me on set after meeting me.”
“I think she liked you.” Clarke argued, already searching through her contacts for her girlfriend's sister’s phone number.
Raven laughed disbelievingly.
“For real, though.” Clarke insisted, “I saw her crack a smile when you were busy stealing food at the after party last week.”
Raven grinned, “Really? Then yeah, ask her if I could come. I’m not missing this for anything.”
Clarke grinned at her best friend and prayed that Anya would pick up the phone.
-------
Anya excused herself from the set when her phone buzzed in her pocket, “I’ll be right back.”
Why is Clarke calling me?
“Hello?”
“Hey, how are you?”
“What do you want?” she cut to the chase.
“Uh, I was wondering if I could join you on set.” Clarke asked in a timid voice.
“Lexa’s working now so she won’t be available to you for at least another three hours.”
“I know. I just want to see her. I won’t disrupt her work, I swear.”
“Fine. I’ll tell security to let you through. They’ll tell you where we are. Just try not to make your presence known too much. Everyone is already pretty stressed because we’re on tight schedule.”
“You will barely notice I’m here.” Clarke assured her, “I know how important today is. Lexa told me that they absolutely had to wrap the episode by tonight.”
“That’s all she told you about what she was filming today?” Anya asked, surprised.
“Uh...yeah. I think so.”
“She didn’t say which scenes she was doing?”
“No? Why would she?”
“I just thought-” Anya shook her head, “Nevermind.”
Today they were shooting the scene in which Lexa’s and Luna’s characters were intimate for the first time. It was in keeping with the producers’ plan to fully develop a relationship between the characters and Lexa saw it as strictly acting but Anya thought she’d have at least told Clarke about it.
“Why are you asking me that?”
“Oh, no reason.” Anya poorly lied, “Was there something else you needed?”
Clarke thankfully did not ask any other questions about Anya's odd behaviour, “Uh yeah actually. Can Raven come with?”
“Raven as in the girl who nearly got into a fight with a renowned billionaire at an award show simply because she wanted the last shrimp on the plate? That Raven?”
“That's the one.”
“She absolutely cannotcome.”
“Please, Anya. I’ll keep an eye on her. I promise. She’ll be good.”
Anya sighed, “Fine but if she so much as looks at someone the wrong way, she’s out.”
“Thank you! See you in a few!”
Anya groaned and shoved her phone back in her pocket, then walked back on set. This was going to be a long day.
“Why do you look like that?” Lexa asked, uncapping a water bottle and taking a seat next to her sister.
“Like what?” Anya asked.
“Like something bad is about to happen and you don’t want to deal with it.”
Anya scoffed, “Cause Reyes is on her way here and one evening in her company was enough to make me wary.”
“Wait.” Lexa frowned, “Raven is coming. So that means..”
“Griffin is coming too, yeah.” Anya shrugged it off, “You probably should have told her which scene it was that you were filming today.”
“Why?”
Anya just looked at her.
Lexa rolled her eyes, “Clarke won’t get jealous. It’s fine. She was there too when we shot the kiss and yeah she was a bit jealous but not overly so. It was fine.”
“Yeah cause it was just a kiss. Are you sure she won’t freak out?”
“Yes. She knows it's acting.” Lexa confidently said, “Everything will be fine.”
Anya shrugged, “If you say so.”
“Lexa! We need you back!”
Lexa put her water bottle aside and smiled at her sister, “Can you tell me when Clarke is here? I don’t know if she’ll be allowed on set and if not, I’d like for her to be given entrance to my trailer. You know how security gets, they won’t allow it unless I’m the one telling them that it’s okay.”
Anya nodded, “I think she will be able to stay on set, though. They’re not that strict about it as long as she doesn’t disrupt the filming.”
----------
Raven was like a kid in a toy store, running around until they finally reached the set. As Anya predicted, they didn’t have to stay aside and were allowed on set, so long as they stayed a bit behind.
“Maybe I could play a walker.” Raven commented, “I’d do pretty great.”
Clarke smiled, “Well, you can ask if they need any more extras to play dead people.”
“Halfdead.” Raven corrected, “Look, she’s over there!” she pointed at Lexa who was prepping for her next scene.
Clarke smiled and waited until Lexa’s gaze landed on her before giving a shy wave. Lexa’s lips split into a bright smile and the actress whispered something into the ear of a crew member before running towards Clarke.
“Hey, you made it!” she wrapped Clarke in a hug, “I thought they’d refuse to let you on set.”
“I thought so too but they were cool about it. I think they remember my face from last time. And also thanks to Anya, I’m guessing.”
“This place is so much smaller than I pictured it.” Raven said, “Who do I need to talk to if I want to play a zombie on the show?”
Lexa laughed, “Not sure but you can ask Anya, she might know. If not, the producer is right over there.” she pointed somewhere in the distance, “Tall dude with the blue cap and the impending baldness. Don’t tell him I said that. He hates being reminded of it.”
Raven laughed. She spotted Anya and grinned, “Ooh looks like it’s time to annoy your sister.”
When they were alone again -well, almost alone since everyone was still moving about around them- Lexa wrapped her arms around Clarke’s waist, “You missed me already?”
Clarke intertwined her hands behind Lexa’s neck, “Yeah.” she admitted, “The whole apocalypticlook works really well on you.”
“So thatdoes it for you?”
Clarke smiled, “A little. I’m not gonna lie.” she tried kissing Lexa but the actress moved away.
“You’ll mess up the makeup artist’s work.”
Clarke rolled her eyes and kissed Lexa anyway, careful to keep her hands away from the brunette’s face where fake wounds and bruises had been created.
“Clarke...uh, there is this scene with Luna and it's..well, it's the intimatekind of scene, you know. So if you want to go to my trailer and wait there until we’re through with it, I can-”
“I won’t get jealous, if that’s what you’re worried about.” Clarke honestly said, “It’s acting. That’s all it is. At least on your part and that’s enough for me. I know last time I was a bit...unsettled by it but I can handle it.”
“You know I love you, right?”
“I know. That's why I’m not worried.” Clarke shrugged, “I trust you.”
“But it doesn't bother you knowing that Luna has feelings for me?” Lexa asked, unsure.
Clarke shook her head, “That sounds like her problem.” she simply said, “If anything, she’s the one who will struggle with it.”
“Okay.”
“Okay.” Clarke echoed, “Now go. They’re all waiting for you and Luna probably needs reassuring more than I do now. I can’t imagine it’s a comfortable situation for her to be in.”
Lexa's lips spread into a fond smile, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Clarke replied, kissing Lexa once more, “And I’m really, really sorry about all the issues I’ve caused us lately. I’ll be better, I swear.”
“Shh…” Lexa placed a lingering kiss against Clarke’s lips, “Stop apologising. We’ll figure it out and I’ve already forgiven you.”
She held onto Clarke’s hand for as long as possible as she left to head back on set, waiting until the absolute last moment to let go, “Catch you around?”
“You will.”
Lexa grinned, tongue trapped between her teeth, then she finally turned around and ran back to her castmates.
--------
Clarke had been around for most of the remaining scenes but when she saw which scene they were preparing for, she decided to stay a bit further behind.
Lexa’s upper body was naked, save for a sheet covering her, up to the top of her breasts, leaving little skin uncovered. She was in a bed, next to Luna who was equally undressed.
Clarke had thought she could handle watching it but she was feeling possessive all of a sudden and knew she should stay away. She caught Raven’s eyes from across the set and her best friend gave her a questioning look, worry etched onto the woman’s face.
Clarke smiled to reassure her and the blonde tried to appear unaffected by busying herself with her phone. If it really got too much, she’d retreat to Lexa’s trailer.
--------
The scene in itself wasn’t a long one. But they had to do multiple takes and it took additional time to make sure everything was in its place for each take.
Clarke felt like this scene had been going on forever.
She had stolen glances occasionally, only to snap her eyes back to her phone when she saw Luna’s hand wander a bit too much for her liking. She clenched her jaw and told herself to just sit quietly and not cause a scene cause it would not only be childish to do so, but it would also bother Lexa in her work.
Still, she was jealous. She couldn’t help feeling that way. She could only control the way she reacted to it.
Raven was next to Anya, chatting excitedly while the other woman was trying very hard to pay attention to Lexa and to her job. At first glance, anyone would think that Anya was annoyed but on closer look, Clarke saw a smile draw itself on Lexa’s sister’s lips.
After what seemed like forever, the director decided to wrap the scene and Lexa was instantly pulled away by someone to go change and put some more clothes on. In the distance, Clarke saw Luna looking at her and she frowned.
The other actress slowly moved out of the bed and walked towards Clarke, “Hey.” she mumbled.
Clarke was confused but she tried smiling nevertheless, “Hey.”
Luna sat down beside her, still holding a sheet up to cover her upper body, “You’re the girlfriend.”
“You’re the castmate.” Clarke’s voice was guarded, wary even.
“Sorry you had to see all that, I guess.”
“This is awkward.” Clarke said, being as honest as possible.
Luna laughed, “Yeah, it really is, huh? I guess I thought I’d make sure you’re okay with all of this but maybe you don’t even want to see my face right now cause I’m guessing Lexa told you about me and about…”
“Your feelings for her? Yeah, she did.” there wasn’t any anger or resentment in Clarke’s words. She was just stating a fact.
“You’re right. This is just awkward. I’m sorry. I just-” she sighed, “It’s just acting. Even for me. I’ve kinda learned to differentiate the two to avoid adding confusion to my life.”
“Okay.”
“I’m saying this because I’ve caught the death stares you threw at me -maybe unintentionally- every time you looked up at us.” she smiled in understanding, “And I’ve noticed that last time, when we were shooting the scene of the kiss, you weren't even on set.”
“I’d rather stay away. It makes it easier if I don’t have to watch it.” Clarke shrugged, “Eventually I’ll get used to it.”
“You know, she never shuts up about you.” Luna smiled wistfully, “That’s how I knew I never stood a chance.”
“I'm sorry.”
Luna seemed surprised by the apology, “For what? For being the woman she’s in love with? Come on, don't apologise for that. I’ve made my peace with it. And you’re good for each other.”
“Yeah?”
“She’s happy now.” Luna said, looking into the distance at Lexa who had re-appeared on set and who was looking around, probably searching for Clarke, “She’s looking for you, I think.” Lexa’s eyes settled on them and the actress’ eyes held a question but her smile was still there. Luna got on her feet and smiled, “It was nice talking with you. Take good care of her, yeah?”
Clarke nodded and smiled, “Thank you, Luna. I will. And you’re wrong, by the way.”
“About what?”
“Her happiness, she is the sole reason for it. She fought for it and she does not need me to be happy.”
Luna simply smiled, nodded, then walked away.
Lexa sat down where Luna had been seconds ago and she smiled at Clarke, “Everything okay?”
Clarke returned her smile and nodded, “Yup. Luna’s cool. I like her.”
Lexa seemed surprised but it shifted into a wide smile, “Yeah.” she agreed, “She’s cool.” she placed her hand on top of Clarke’s, “That was my last scene.”
“Oh? Already?” Clarke looked down at her watch and saw that it was already nine. She hadn’t realised so much time had passed.
“I’ll call my chauffeur and we can head home.”
Clarke nodded. She frowned when Lexa stayed seated, staring at her tenderly, “Lex?”
Lexa gently grabbed her chin and kissed her delicately, “I’m yours.” she whispered, “It will always be you.”
Clarke's lips parted in surprise and she cupped Lexa’s cheeks to pull her in for another kiss, “And I’m yours.” she whispered against Lexa’s lips before kissing her again.
“Looks like Anya already called for the car.” Lexa noted, seeing her sister and her chauffeur talking a few feet away, “Shall we?” she got up and tugged on Clarke's hand to pull her to her feet.
“Let’s go home.”
