Chapter Text
That night Bakugou got basically no sleep whatsoever, meaning when he got to class the next day, he was pretty grumpy. Well... grumpier than normal at least. The day had just started a everything seemed fairly normal, or a normal as it could be for class 1-A. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was that Midoriya was nowhere to be found, he was usually quite early to class, so it was unlikely that he was late. For a split second Bakugou wondered where he was before that thought was quickly erased from his head, stupid Deku meant nothing to him, he had no reason to be thinking of that nerd. Still, he couldn't help but listen to the conversation going on between Aizawa, Iida and Ururaka.
"Excuse me, sensei, do you have any idea where Midoriya may be today," the girl asked politely.
Katsuki couldn't help, but roll his eyes, why was everyone at his damn school so respectful.
Aizawa sighed, "Midoriya was training will All Might yesterday and happened to get injured, he's with recovery girl right now, he is not able to be in class today," by his tone of voice it was clear that Aizawa was getting more and more sick of these kids.
Bakugou felt himself get angry at the fact that Deku was injured. Seriously, he idiot should start taking better care of himself so he doesn't end up seriously hurt one day. Katsuki relinquished that thought, why did he care about that nerd anyway? Oh right, he doesn't.
Iida then spoke up, "Oh dear! I hope he gets better soon, I'm going to scold him for not being careful!"
Bakugou actually felt thankful for the other boy, someone needed to keep stupid Deku in check, but as soon as the thought came it left, because after all Bakugou Katsuki doesn't not care about Midoriya Izuku.
Aizawa shooed away the two students in front of him, "Go back to your seats, I have a class to teach"
Aizawa startes to talk, but Bakugou couldn't bring himself to listen, after all, it's not like he was going to be taught anything that he didn't already know. Instead the blond boy chose to stare off into space and daydream like he usually did when class seemed to get away from him. He always chooses to stare off in the exact same spot every time he's bored, but this time it seemed different, he couldn't put his finger on it right away. He looked at the place that his eyes usually wonder to and he found himself staring at an empty desk, it was the desk that belonged to none other than Midoriya Izuku. Bakugou scolded himself why on earth was I always staring at Deku? he thought. When he looked at the empty spot that was usually filled by a smiling boy with stars in his eyes, but was instead empty, Katsuki felt a strange longing. He signed, today was going to be a long day.
