After the exam

Chapter Text

He knew he had said that he would have decided what to do but... uh he didn't. He was just across the street from the building, looking up at the words "PLUS ULTRA" that were in big yellow letters right above the entrance door. He had arrived, probably, 15 minutes earlier and was just standing there thinking of what he sould do.

Maybe i sould just leave, he probably doesn't want to see me. Maybe he doesn't even remember me. Aaaand he's working, i can't bother him while he works, that would be rude.

Shoto eyed the shop one more time and decided that he would come by some other time. He turned to where he had come from and started walking slowly. Maybe he'll come by to grab a bite when classes start again. Hopefully he would meet the Deku again.

He remembered his green out of control hair, his face, always smiling and covered in adorable freckles. The little smile on his lips when he called him-

  "Todoroki-kun?"

His whole body froze for a couple of seconds. After breathing in a few times he managed to pull himself together and turned around with a plastered smile on his face. However, as soon as his eyes landed on Deku his smile became genuine, and his heart may -may- have skipped a bit. He looked so cute, and was he so much shorter than Shoto before?

"Oh, hi Deku. What are you doing here?"

"I eh, i work here, remember? We met here yesterday when you came for a coffee while looking sleep-deprived but also still somehow attractive and I gave you a donut because I thought you needed some energy and omg I'm shutting up now I'm so sorry", Deku said extremely fast as a blush rose to his face and he slowly turned reder and reder. Much like Shoto.

He remembers me, and he just called me attractive!?

"Yeah". Shoto's simple response was followed by an awkward silence, which he didn't like, so he decided to break it. "Anyway, are you headed somewhere?"

"Ah, yeah, to the train station.", the shorter boy replied.

"Do you want me to accompany you along the way?", he thought that he shouldn't be feeling as anxious for the answer to that question as he did.

A warming smile soothed the worry. "I'd be glad if you did!"
