Chapter Text

"I think… maybe...we should break up…"

Yoongi's painful words were met with silence. He wanted to sob, to just let go. But the lack of a reaction from Hoseok scared Yoongi. He didn't move, waiting for a response, his body trembling.

A few moments of torturous silence passed before Hoseok finally spoke, voice filled with emotions Yoongi couldn't quite make out.

"What are you talking about?"

Yoongi didn't dare to turn around and look at him, so he tightened the grip on the plushie.

"The team is falling apart Hoseok. I love you, but this is doing too much damage…"

Once more he was met with silence. Suddenly he felt Hoseok's grip on his arm tightening, nails digging into his skin almost painfully.

"Alright, that's it!"

Hoseok's booming voice in the silent room startled the elder. Before he could react, the dancer let go of Yoongi and got off the bed, ripping the door open with too much force, crashing the handle into the wall behind it.

Terrified of Hoseok's sudden outburst, Yoongi sat up straight in his bed, staring down the hallway through his open door.

Hoseok's furious steps and booming yells echoed through the dorm, as he hammered against everyone's door with his fist.

"Get the fuck up! Now!"

Scared, Yoongi rushed into the hallway, but he didn't dare take another step.

"Stop, please!"

One by one, the members opened their doors, confused and startled at the commotion. "What is going on?!" Namjoon rubbed his eyes.

Jimin looked just as scared as Yoongi. "Hyungie, please calm do-"

"Living room! All of you!"

No one moved as Hoseok walked past them towards the living room. The moment Yoongi realised that Hoseok was storming towards him, the elder flinched and took a step back, his back hitting the cold doorframe.

Yoongi knew Hoseok would never willingly hurt him, or any of the others. He knew that. But at that moment, he was terrified. The usually bright and happy dancer was indeed the scariest when angry, but this was another level.

The elder couldn't read the emotions in his eyes. Anger, frustration, pain, sadness… a bit of everything?

Hoseok didn't look at him when he passed him, but he grabbed onto Yoongi's wrist tightly, pulling him with him into the living room.

His grip wasn't too painful, Yoongi's yelp and groan more caused by surprise. But it still hurt.

"Hob-ah…" Finally realizing what was going on, the others rushed after them. Jungkook's yell was stained with pain and sadness. "Hyung! Stop! Let go!"

Yoongi stumbled after Hoseok until they reached the couch. The dancer stopped for a moment, about to tell everyone to sit down, when two pairs of hands grabbed his wrist and pried his hand away from Yoongi's red wrist.

Seokjin stepped between the pair and glared at Hoseok, his eyes a fiery red. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

The younger finally snapped out of his blind rage. His eyes found Yoongi's red wrist, Taehyung holding and rubbing it gently. Looking up, he locked eyes with Yoongi over Jin's shoulder.

Yoongi stared back at him, eyes filled with fear and shock. The rapper could see that the other was just as shocked by his behaviour, but he could also see that the anger and frustration were still overpowering everything else.

Taehyung led Yoongi to the couch and sat him down, plopping down next to him, still tending to his wrist. Jimin sat down on Yoongi's other side, Jungkook joining Taehyung, all three of them checking on Yoongi.

"Guys it's fine. It doesn't hurt anymore, really. And I kinda deserved it."

Seokjin turned to Yoongi in confusion. "Why the hell would you deserve to be dragged around like a ragdoll?!"

Yoongi's eyes dropped to the floor, staring at an abandoned gaming controller under the coffee table.

"No you don't deserve this. Never. I went to far, I'm so sorry." Seokjin glared at Hoseok. His tone didn't sound apologizing enough.

"Hyung, Namjoon, can you please just sit down?"

The eldest was about to protest his demand, but Namjoon just tugged on his hand so he would sit down with him. Everyone except Hoseok now sat on the couch, staring at him in confusion and disbelief.

The dancer crossed his arms over his chest, still visibly worked up. "What the fuck is this about Hoseok? What happened?"

"Yeah, that's what I want to know too!" That answer just confused everyone even more.

"Yoongi just told me we should break up. For the sake of the team."

The members turned their heads towards Yoongi who was still staring at the floor.

"Hyung… is that true?"

A single tear rolling down his cheek was all the answer they needed. But before they could ask further questions, Hoseok spoke again.

"He blames the team falling apart on our relationship. Which is absolute bullshit."

Yoongi's voice was small and strained. "Seokie, can't we just talk about this in private…"

The other was quick to answer. "No. This is about all of us. You need to understand that this isn't our fault. The entire team is at fault! We promised to go through this together! Where did that go, huh?"

His voice was steadily rising, leaving the others anxious.

"Yes, the media is against us. Other fandoms are against us. Our so called 'fans' are against us. It sucks, yes. But the company supports us. Other idols support us. ARMY supports us. But the most important is that we support eachother! Did you already forget about that?"

"Hyung-"

"No, Jimin. Y'all are going to let me speak. I am sick of your behaviour. Why are we all constantly at eachother's throats for the most ridiculous reasons? I understand that we are having a rough time with all the hate we get thrown at us, but what happened to us talking about issues and hardships when they come up?"

No one had an answer to that. To be honest, they didn't know what happened. Didn't know what to do.

"That's exactly why I'm saying we should break up…" Yoongi felt Taehyung's hand around his own tightening.

"That doesn't make any sense! What good would that do? We aren't having those issues because we are dating! We are having them because we don't communicate!"

Namjoon tried getting a word in, but Yoongi beat him to it.

"No. We are having those issues because of all the hate we get. And why do we get hate? Because we are dating."

"It's not that easy, why won't you understand that?! What good would breaking up do anyways?"

Yoongi stared at his hands as he ripped at his nails. "Everything could go back to normal. People would let the issue go and we could continue to-"

"That is absolute bullshit and you know it Yoongi. Even when we break up, it won't make our relationship vanish like it never happened. At the end of the day, we are still gay. And that's the reason we get hate. They wouldn't care as much if we would be dating some random girl no one knows."

And with that, for the very first time in their lives, the members heard Yoongi yell in frustration. Shivers ran down their spines as Yoongi's loud voice echoed through the room.

"I know! I know okay?!"

Tears streamed down his face as he yelled at Hoseok who just stood there in shock.

"I'm not stupid! But it would help calm the situation. We could make it look like we were just confused because we're soulmates or something, I don't know! But it can't go on like this! Everyone here is suffering and it's my fault! I know you are all trying to hide your pain, but I still see it okay?! I don't want my family to fall apart. I don't want to lose you!"

The room fell silent as Yoongi dropped his face into his hands and sobbed. Namjoon took that moment to finally interrupt.

"Yoongi, listen. We understand that you hate seeing us in pain, but you are completely ignoring Hoseok's feelings here. And most importantly your own. You shouldn't break his and your heart just for our sake, this won't fix anything. It will just get worse. We-"

"I just want things to go back to normal. All the fighting breaks my heart already. This is all my fault. I wish I never told you the truth that night."

Yoongi only realized what he said when it was too late. He froze, scared to look at Hoseok. The others flinched at his statement, not sure how to react.

Hoseok stared at Yoongi in disbelief, dropping his arms to his side. Slowly, the elder raised his head to lock eyes with the dancer, panic eminent in his eyes.

He watched as Hoseok's beautiful soulmate eyes shifted color. A dull white erasing all the sparkling colors, leaving behind the blank canvas of heartbreak.

The younger's voice was small and trembling. "I see…"

And with that, Hoseok just walked away. Yoongi felt his heart shatter into a million pieces with the loud bang of the front door closing with too much force. He wanted to cry, to scream, to run after him. But he couldn't. He just sat there, silent tears rolling down his cheeks.

Namjoon and Seokjin jumped up, running after Hoseok, the door closing loudly behind them once again.

Yoongi kept staring at the spot where Hoseok stood before when he was met with dark blue eyes staring back at him. Taehyung was crouching in front of him, eyes filled with pain and sadness, his voice barely a whisper.

"Hyung…"

Falling forward, Yoongi leaned his forehead on Taehyung's shoulder, the younger instantly wrapping his strong arms around him. Jimin and Jungkook both leaned into Yoongi's sides, wrapping their arms around him as well.

Namjoon and Seokjin returned with Hoseok a few hours later. Yoongi, Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin slept in a huge pile on the couch, Yoongi's face red and marked with dried tears. Not sparing them a glance, Hoseok went into his room and locked the door behind him.

Namjoon woke the others up and told them to go to bed, they would talk about this the next day. Jungkook carried the exhausted and still sleeping Yoongi into his bedroom, gently tucking him in. Jimin decided to stay with him and be there for him when he wakes up.

Unfortunately, their schedules were so busy that they didn't get to talk about it the next day. Or the day after. Or the day after that. Everyone drowned their emotions in overworking themselves while the tension kept building up with every day that passed. Since the tour started in two days, everyone was on edge and worried they wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Hoseok and Yoongi didn't talk outside of work, and even there only when it was necessary. The pair agreed to pull it together at work and do their best to not jeopardize the group.

The others suffered along with them, but it was the hardest on Jungkook. We left practice to cry in the bathroom at least once a day.

It's the evening before the first concert of their tour, and Namjoon finally managed to call in a team meeting when they came home from rehearsals. The tension in the room was suffocating as they gathered on the couch, Hoseok's and Yoongi's white eyes concentrated on everything except eachother.

"Alright. I know we're all tired and just want to rest, but we have to release at least some of the tension before the concert. We owe ARMY a perfect show." A few of them nodded in agreement.

For over 3 hours the group talked about the tension and the issues, trying to come up with a good solution to handle the constant attacks from the media. They even talked about ways to support and promote the LGBT community more to show the public that they won't be backing down until something changes.

After those 3 hours the tension lifted almost completely, light hearted jokes and laughter in the air. But the dark clouds over the couple didn't clear. Namjoon purposefully avoided to make the conversation about their relationship. Honestly, it was private and he hoped they would settle it on their own.

Over the last few days the anger in Hoseok's face faded, even when looking at Yoongi. But it only got replaced with sadness and pain, both of them just depressed shell's of their usually bright personalities.

With the light atmosphere they managed to get back, Namjoon thought it would be a good idea to finally bring up the topic anyways. Maybe they'll needed a soft push to talk it out.

"Okay, I'm glad we could settle this. I will talk to the company about possible projects in that matter. I'm in high hopes that we can give ARMY a concert they deserve." He paused for a moment.

"Yoongi hyung, Hoseok? Can we maybe talk about the elephant in the room? I think it's important to fix-"

Without a word, Hoseok got up from his spot and retreated to his room, the faint click if his lock the only answer he gave his stunned members.

Yoongi couldn't sleep that night. His mind wouldn't stop racing. He wanted to give ARMY the show they deserved. They supported them so much through this, it didn't feel fair to not give their all. But there wasn't anything he could do. He swore himself he would act like everything is fine and give them the best he could give, but lying felt wrong…

Getting out of bed he decided to get something to drink in hopes it would help him fall asleep. But as he stood in the hallway, a faint sobbing stopped him in his tracks.

He would recognize this crying anywhere. Hesitant, he knocked on Hoseok's door. "Hob-ah…"

The sobbing stopped. After a few moments of silence Yoongi could hear a faint sniffling.

"Just leave, please."

Yoongi pressed his flat hand on the wood of the door, leaning his forehead against it. He knew Hoseok wasn't the person that wants to be alone when he feels like this. "Let me in. Please."

But Hoseok didn't answer. He didn't open the door. He just continued to cry all by himself. Yoongi's chest hurt as he slid down the door, pulling his knees against his chest as he listened to Hoseok cry himself to sleep.

"Yoongi hyung what the fuck!"

Yoongi jerked away and immediately regretted all his life decisions. The loud crack coming from his back would even impress the god of thunder. "What, what did I do?!"

"Why the hell are you sleeping in front of hyung's door?" Jungkook leaned down to pull the elder up. Yoongi stumbled, still half asleep. "I must have fallen asleep, I didn't plan to sleep here. What time is it?"

"9am… Does your body feel alright? We have a concert today, why are you this way I swear to god…"

"I'm fine Kookie, really." The cracks coming from his knees as he stretched begged to differ.

The morning was really stressful for all of them. They had to be at the stadium pretty early to prepare for soundcheck. The mood in the dorm was actually better than Yoongi expected, their mutual excitement to see ARMY again after such a long time really making a difference. Jungkook kept talking about tweets he read yesterday from ARMYs who will attend the concert.

Hoseok still didn't actively talk to Yoongi, but he did smile at him across the room once in a while. Progress, at least.

The noise level around them kept rising steadily, and excitement rushed through Yoongi's body. He missed performing so much. He missed ARMY so much. Hopefully he could forget about everything for the next 4 hours.

"Guys, come here! 2 minutes left!" The members gathered around Namjoon. One of their makeup artists stumbled after Taehyung, trying to fix a certain strand of hair that just wouldn't stay in place.

Stretching his hand in the middle of the circle, Namjoon looked at his members. One by one the others put their hand on his.

"Alright, we owe them a perfect show. As hard as everything is right now, we are a team. We are a family. And we love eachother. So, let's have fun. Give it everything you got. Let's keep the promise we made."

The members smiled at Namjoon.

"Bangtan, Bangtan!"

"Bang bang tan!"

The group broke their circle, everyone getting last fixes and taking their places on the stage lift.

But Hoseok held onto Yoongi's hand before he could pull away. Confused, Yoongi locked eyes with him. "Thank you… for being there last night."

Yoongi didn't even have enough time to answer, Hoseok already pulling him into a tight hug. The elder quickly relaxed into it. He missed this. Missed his warmth and his scent. Missed his presence. The dancer pulled back, too soon in Yoongi's opinion.

"20 seconds!"

The instrumentals for ON blasted through the stadium and ARMY went wild. Yoongi could barely hear his own thoughts. Putting his earpieces in, he took his place on the stage lift, crouching next to Taehyung. Closing his eyes, the lift finally began moving.

Let's keep the promise we made.

Scrunching his nose, Yoongi blew a piece of confetti out of his face. He watched it float around in the air, making its descend into the crowd in front of him. The rapper smiled as a gorgeous girl desperately stretched out her hand to catch it, but failed, pouting at him.

Bending down, Yoongi grabbed a handful of confetti and threw it in her direction, showering her in it. She managed to catch most of them and smiled brightly at Yoongi, clutching the confetti to her chest.

His gaze flew over the crowd around them, Jungkook's speech only background noise. The diversity of their fans will forever amaze him. Even though they are in Seoul right now, there are a lot of international fans in the crowd. And the age difference. Children, teenagers, adults and even elders.

He watched the diversity grow over the years, but the change that surprised him the most were the increasing numbers in male fans. He knew that the gender numbers in their fandom were pretty balanced, but at concerts it was mostly female fans. More and more male fans attended over the years.

But, this time, the change was clearly noticeable. He has never seen that many male fans in their audience before. His gaze fell on a male, black fan a few rows in. He was wearing a Mang headband and was waving a j-hope slogan, trying to get Hoseok's attention. Yoongi watched him for a moment, a fond smile on his lips.

He didn't notice Jungkook finishing his speech and Namjoon announcing their next song. The lights went back out, and crowd went back to cheering. Rushing around on the dark stage, the members took their places behind Taehyung. The first note of Fake Love echoed through the speakers and the crowd went even wilder. As Yoongi moved his body in perfect synchronization with the others he started getting nervous.

For this tour they put Fake Love right before Black Swan, the instrumentals merging in a perfect transition. They had quite a few fights over the choreography for the transition. It was challenging, but in the end they managed to find the perfect balance.

But that wasn't what got him nervous. It was his and Hoseok's parts. The part where he slaps his hand away.

In the practices, the pair didn't touch or look at eachother during it, the dance moves feeling to personal, too real… But they couldn't do that now. ARMY would notice even the slightest change in choreography, no matter if it's just about eyecontact. On top of that, it just takes away the whole energy of the part.

They came closer and closer to their verse, and Yoongi felt like throwing up. Acting out a 'fight' while looking into his eyes? He wasn't sure how professional he could stay.

The chorus came to an end, and the members moved to the side, leaving Hoseok and Yoongi in the spotlight. Hoseok rapped his part flawlessly and grabbed Yoongi's wrist. The rapper suddenly realized that it felt familiar, uncomfortable, as images of Hoseok pulling him through the living room flooded into his head.

Yoongi ripped his hand free, turning around to face Hoseok. They lock eyes as Yoongi delivers his rap.

Even though Hoseok was wearing contact lenses, he could see his foggy, white iris beneath, his eyes filled with pain. Yoongi felt tears building in his eyes, trying his best to keep his voice stable.

But as hard as he tried, his voice was shaky, stumbling over some of the words. He let out a sigh of relief when Jungkook's voice finally filled his earpiece. He only had to finish this choreography, then he'd be able to get off stage and calm down.

After what felt like hours, the song finally came to an end, the lights slowly dimming until the stage was pitch black. At this point, Yoongi could barely see with the tears filling his eyes. With a sudden jerk, the lift started its descend. Before it was fully down, the members already jumped down, rushing to their stylists to get ready for the unit songs.

After changing his outfit, the rapper sat down in the flimsy plastic chair in front of the mirror. His stylist came over and gave him a tissue. Confused, Yoongi looked her in the eyes. She had a gentle, empathic look on her face, smiling softly. Yoongi appreciated the gesture, but he was most thankful for her not asking any questions.

He smiled back at her and wiped his tears away before stuffing the tissue in his pocket. The stylist waited until he gave her a small nod before she began fixing his makeup. Since he and Namjoon were second with the unit stages, they had a longer break, so she took her time. Jungkook, Seokjin and Hoseok were the first. They had barely 5 minutes until the VCR was over, so they were hurried around.

Yoongi watched Hoseok through his mirror, and he noticed that his stylist was struggling with fixing his red and puffy eyes. But she finally managed to somehow hide it beneath too much makeup, and Hoseok got up to head to the stage lift once again. As he turned, their eyes met in the mirror. And Yoongi swore Hoseok was moving towards him instead of towards the lift.

"20 seconds!"

Flinching, Hoseok stopped in his tracks, turning his head to the staff member. He locked eyes with Yoongi one last time before dashing off to the lift.

"...So, thank you for being by our side all this time. We will work hard to make all of you proud. We love you ARMY!"

The crowd cheered and shed tears as Namjoon finished his ending ment. Everyone's words were raw and sincere, it was an emotional moment. The concert went perfectly without major accidents, and Yoongi enjoyed his time with ARMY, but he didn't know how to feel.

He loved performing, he loved ARMY, and he had fun, and doesn't want this moment to end, but at the same time he just wants to crawl into his bed and don't come out ever again. His heart was beyond bruised and he couldn't just act like everything was fine between him and Hoseok. But he didn't have another choice. So he took a deep breath, mentally preparing for the last song so he could finally get out of here.

For the last time that evening, the stadium got filled with instrumentals. The group began moving around the stage, ready to perform We are Bulletproof The Eternal for the very first time.

Taehyung crouched down at the edge of the stage, fondly gazing at all the people in front of him as Jungkook's voice filled their ears.

The only thing I had was my dream
When I opened my eyes, there was only the foggy morning

Jimin walked over the catwalk, smiling and stretching his hands out towards a boy in the first row.

Sing and dance all night long
Those music sheets that had no end

Laughing, Seokjin showed Jungkook a cutout in the crowd with a Jungkook meme on it. The girl waved it around happily.

Ay we shout out boldly
‘Throw it all at us’
Our first fight against the world
Don’t wanna die
But so much pain
Too much cryin’
So the blades that became dull

Yoongi watched as Hoseok sang in a gentle voice, ARMY around him cooing at him. He felt his eyes sting, so he turned his attention back to the people in front of him.

Oh I
We were only seven
I
But we have you all now
After seven winters and springs
With these fingertips that hold each other
Oh I

Namjoon and Hoseok faced the left side of the stadium, slowly swaying from side to side, ARMY in front of them copying their movement with their ARMY bombs.

Oh I

Yeah we got to heaven

The moment Jungkook's powerful voice echoed through the stadium, something unexpected happened. The members watched in awe as every single ARMY in the crowd held up a small banner.

Pride flags.

Most of the banners had the rainbow stripes on it, but quite a few of them had the colors for all kinds of sexualities on them. Bisexuality, pansexuality, trans… The camera zoomed on one of the banners, showing the writing on it:

"We have no fear anymore
We are together bulletproof"

Their lightsticks switched colors, the purple ocean of ARMY now sparkling in every color of the rainbow.

You could hear the tremble in Jimin's voice clearly as he kept singing.

Throw stones at me
We have no fear anymore

Yoongi felt tears running down his cheeks as he watched the beautiful ocean of colors in front of him.

We are we are together bulletproof
Yeah we have you have you

Jimin crouched down, holding his hand in front of his face, trying his best to hide his tears as he cried into it.

Even if the winter comes again
No matter who blocks me, I walk forward

Namjoon just stood there, watching the lights and banners as the music filled his body, pride written all over his face.

We are we are forever bulletproof
Yeah we got to heaven

Jungkook and Taehyung both choked on a sob as they did their best to sing their lines.

It was Yoongi's turn, but he was so overwhelmed with emotions that he missed his queue, stumbling over his first lines. His voice was quiet and trembling, struggling not to choke on his tears. As he sang, he finally broke down, his last line lost in his sobbing. He fell to his knees, leaning his forehead on the floor, bowing to ARMY as they finished his line for him.

We are bullet bullet bulletproof
Against the disapproving gazes, we made it
All the bad memories, the many difficulties
We boldly blocked them all out, bulletproof

He knew they supported them. He knew. But this project just overwhelmed him so much. He was beyond thankful for all of them. Feeling incredibly stupid for ever doubting them and his and Hoseok's relationship.

He stayed in this position, sobbing, his body visibly shaking, as Namjoon did his part.

I always wonder
Am I perhaps still inside a dream
The long winter
Is what came at the end of it really spring

A soft hand suddenly touched his back as someone crouched down next to him. He felt him caressing his back for a moment before he fell to his knees as well.

The name that everyone laughed at
That once, we were ashamed of
This is a proof made of steel
“Bullet-proof”

A sudden warmth engulfed Yoongi's hand next to his head and he instantly knew. It was Hoseok. He intertwined their fingers as Yoongi's sobbing got worse. Tears rolling down his face, Hoseok bowed down as well, letting his tears fall freely, body trembling.

Oh I
We were only seven
I
But we have you all now
After seven winters and springs
With these fingertips that hold each other
Oh I
Yeah we got to heaven

Taehyung stood at the edge of the extended stage, watching the rainbow ocean. Jungkook watched his eyes sparkle in awe, filled with emotion. He slowly approached him, stopping right next to him.

Throw stones at me
We have no fear anymore

Locking eyes with Taehyung, he reached for his hand, intertwining their fingers. The pair smiled at eachother as they sang their lines in perfect harmony.

We are we are together bulletproof
Yeah we have you have you

ARMY screamed at the pair in front of them, cheering and waving their lightsticks.

Even if the winter comes again
No matter who blocks me, I walk forward

Seokjin sat down in front of the main camera, smiling into it.

We are we are forever bulletproof
Yeah we got to heaven

Jimin walked up to Seokjin, kneeling down behind him and wrapping his arm arm around his neck before singing right into the camera.

Oh oh
I won’t stop ever again

The youngest was right behind him, joining them on Seokjin's other side.

Because here, we are together

Lastly, Taehyung wrapped his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, crouching down a bit, but still towering over Seokjin as he delivered his lines as well.

Tell me your every story
Tell me why you don’t stop this

Seokjin leaned back into the others.

Tell me why you still walkin’
Walkin’ with us

The four of them put their entire soul into the next line, harmonizing with Jungkook.

Yeah we got to heaven

Namjoon walked over to Hoseok and Yoongi who were still bowing down. He put his hands on their backs gently, rubbing reassuringly.

Throw stones at me
We have no fear anymore

The leader pulled back and Hoseok and Yoongi finally sat up straight again. Still on their knees, they turned to look at eachother.

We are we are together bulletproof
Yeah we have you have you

Locking their eyes, they stared at eachother for a moment, both their faces covered in tears. Yoongi was so stupid. He hated himself for hurting Hoseok like this. He didn't want to lose him.

Even if the winter comes again
No matter who blocks me, I walk forward

The couple fell forward at the same time, embracing eachother as if their lives depended on it. Yoongi wrapped his arms around his neck, burying his face in the crook of his neck. The dancer put his arms around his waist, hiding his face in his shoulder.

We are we are forever bulletproof
Yeah we got to heaven

ARMY's singing flooded the stadium as they watched the emotional moment on stage. The other members approached the couple. Jungkook pulled them both up, but they kept clutching onto eachother.

Yeah we have you have you

One after another, the members hugged the couple, forming a group hug with the pair caught in the middle. Yoongi locked eyes with Hoseok, mouthing the words "I'm sorry". The younger smiled at him before leaning forward, pressing their lips together. ARMY's excited screaming filled their ears as they pulled back, Yoongi laughing and shyly hiding his face back in Hoseok's shoulder, happy tears filling his eyes.

Yeah we are not seven, with you

The group cried into eachother for a moment before they finally let go, walking to middle of the stage together.

Yeah we are not seven, with you

Standing in a line and holding eachother's hands, the group bowed to their audience in front of them before turning around and bowing to ARMY behind them as well.

Yeah we are not seven, with you

Turning back around to face the front, everyone lifted their intertwined hands. Yoongi tightened his grip on Hoseok's and Taehyung's hand, watching the breathtaking ocean in front of them, as the lift beneath them slowly made its descend.

Hoseok drew small circles on the back of Yoongi's hand as the cheers filled his ears. The lift reached the bottom and the members slowly jumped down, leaving Hoseok and Yoongi alone.

Yoongi finally understood. He finally realized how much their relationship means, not only to them, but to ARMY. And the industry as a whole. He understood, that as long as ARMY was by their side, they could overcome everything.

Seeing this project with his own eyes, he finally understood. Korea was ready for a change. And they would bring it. For all the misunderstood people of the LGBTQ+ community.

He locked eyes with Hoseok, rainbow shining through the edges of his contact lens.

Bringing his shaking hand up to his face, Yoongi gently cupped his cheek and leaned forward, kissing him with so much love it almost hurt. Hoseok pulled him to his chest by the waist, deepening the kiss. When he finally pulled back, the busy staff rushing around them, the cheering of the crowd, the music in the background, all that was gone. All his senses concentrated on the man in front of him. His soulmate. The love of his life. He was never so sure of anything. Together, they could do this. Hoseok, him, the members, and ARMY.

"I love you."
"I love you more."

We have no fear anymore
We are we are together bulletproof
