It’s now 9:30 at night and Lucas is walking home, so he should make it back before his curfew at 10. At least he hopes so or else his dad will surely yell at him about it. He’s not really in a hurry though because he doesn’t really care. Sure his dad yelling at him all the time over the smallest things can get really annoying, but it’s whatever. It’s not like his dad ever does anything about. All he ever does is yell at him. He used to make empty threats of groundings and taking his electronics away, but he never followed through with them. Which is probably why Lucas doesn’t take him seriously about anything really.
He’s grateful that his mom is much more bearable than his dad. He actually gets along with her and respects her more. It also helps that she gets just as annoyed by his dad as Lucas does.
His parents don’t have the best marriage that’s for sure; they don’t even sleep in the same bed. His mom has slept on the couch ever since he was a kid. He likes to refer to it as a loveless marriage where the two are only together still because of their kid. He knows this for a fact because once when he was younger he heard them fighting when he was getting out of the shower and heard his mom yelling about how “The only reason I’m still with you is because of him,” or something like that. It’s always been like that ever since Lucas can remember, but at least now his parents don’t fight as much and Lucas voices his opinion more often which just results in more arguments between him and his dad. So yeah, he didn’t have the best example of a healthy relationship to look up to which probably has messed him up a bit, but hopefully he won’t end up in a marriage like that. He really hopes he doesn’t...
Which leads him to start thinking about the new guy at the skatepark. God, he was so hot, ugh. He kept looking at me. Is he into me? No, he just noticed you staring at him and being a complete creep. Great job, Lucas. You blew it already. Lucas shakes the negative thoughts out of his head. Calm down. Just get home, go to sleep, and worry about all that tomorrow.
It’s 5 minutes until 10 when he gets home so thankfully he won’t have to hear anything from his dad. He greets his parents and they ask how his day was and what he did. He just tells them that it was fine and that he hung out with Yann, Arthur, and Basile. He walks to his room to get ready for bed. Meanwhile, all he can think about is seeing the new guy again.

After classes end all the guys meet up outside of the school and head over to the skatepark together. Arthur and Basile can’t hide their excitement about seeing the new guy.

- Yann talks to Eliott, introducing him to le gang “something about him being alone and making friends. Saw you and my friend eyeing each other and knew he wouldn’t make the first move so I’m trying to help him.”

- Eliott’s really confident and Lucas doesn’t trust him at first so he won’t let Eliott kiss him whenever he tries to.
- Lucas and Eliott awkward handshake cuz Lucas is a nervous idiot but that’s how he notices his rings and he’s INTO it.
