Chapter Text
Welp. It's been a while. I'm not dead, in case you were worried. So much happened that I don't even know where to start.
First off, parents let up on the whole religion thing, and I decided to continue the hiatus for personal reasons. Soon after that, my computer broke, and I enjoy typing on a keyboard more than a phone, so that made me pause for even longer. Once my computer was fixed, I started having a lot of health issues, including difficulty breathing that lasted for a concerning amount of time. It took me three months to get diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction, which is a fancy way of saying my vocal cords don't open enough to let me breathe normally. That was fixed, and I was recovering and going through a lot of other things. He's since changed for the better, but the entire family was going through a tough patch with my dad. We started talking about divorce, and it's still up in the air.
During this time, I've slowly lost my passion for BNHA. I still enjoy a lot about the fandom and the story, but I'm not active in the fandom anymore. As a consequence, I've lost my passion to keep writing this story. But instead of leaving it without a resolution, I'll briefly explain the vague ideas I had for the rest of the story.
- First, quirks.
- Name - Pre-USJ power - evolved power
- Shai - Lightning - Lightning/electricity and visions of future events, plus he can focus and tell people’s intent towards him.
- Yume - Fire - Pyrotechnics, he can produce and control it, his pyrokinesis is like Izuku’s in Origin of Eclipse
- Ronri - Enhanced intelligence - Similar to Nezu’s High Specs, he can see all the paths to accomplish a goal, and then pick the best one. With the enhanced intelligence, he could rival Nezu.
- Shin - Empathy - Full empathy, he can fully tell their thought process by their emotions, it’s almost like mind reading, along with teleportation.
- I copied this directly from my notes about this story, enjoy. Don't remember if I ever stated it before, but each character is meant to have an ability that represents a facet of Izuku's personality. Shai is anxiety, so he can see the future slightly and tell what your intent is towards him. Yume is pride/ego/creativity, and he got a fire upgrade. Ronri is logic, and he also just got a boost to his pre-existing abilities. Shin is his heart, and so his empathy increased, and I really just wanted to give him teleportation.
- We first saw the premonitions when he had a vision of Iida being killed in Hosu, and Stain stalking over while Izuku couldn't do anything.
- The second premonition shows what would happen in Hosu to Endeavour in two possible futures: One, Endeavour is alone because it's Endeavour, and while he's killing one Nomu, another one comes up behind him and injures him, badly enough that he later dies from his wounds. Two, Izuku knocks it away, giving Endeavour enough warning to kill it too and survive.
- Izuku tells the heroes he's interning with about these visions, and they agree to head out to Hosu when Izuku thinks it's the right time.
- Back at UA, Shinsou starts getting some training from Dadzawa, and his foster parents are abusive.
- Fun fact! When I was writing that chapter, I made a note in the beginning that was this:
- Me: It’ll just be some training fluff, they’ll bond, it’ll just be a small thing.
- My brain: Add angst.
- Me: Bu… why??
- My brain: Because. ANGST.
- Me: Ugh, fine, but we get to do fluff afterwards.
- So yeah
- That happened.
- Shinsou was taken to the infirmary and adopted by the Yamazawa family.
- I planned for the family to get two more cats, a calico named Jelly, and a black cat named Buba

- Mochi and Jelly are girls, Buba is a boy
- There was gonna be a chapter with the Stain encounter, maybe stretched out to a couple chapters.
- I planned to include more fluff, probably would've been them getting one of the other cats or Shinsou interacting with Mochi
- The infamous shopping trip, where Shai feels Handyman's intent and Izuku tells Uraraka to get some help, and it's mostly pretty safe
- The camp and Kamino arcs would've stretched over a good while, with not too many differences other than Ragdoll doesn't get captured, give it up for Shai again.
- Izuku also just zaps Muscular, knocking him out, instead of breaking himself fighting him.
- After the whole thing with Kamino and All Might, Nezu offers Chiharu a permanent teaching job, and the Aizawas co-teach 1-A, with them both handling the homeroom and hero training.
- I planned to make it so that Sir Nighteye lives, and with his empathy, Izuku can help Eri a lot better than he does in canon.
- Was gonna end out with the culture festival and some more fluff.
Hope that makes up a bit for me not finishing it. If you want me to write out a specific scene, leave a comment asking about it, and I'll gift another work in the series. I still love this story, I've just lost the motivation to write all the boring bits in between the parts I wanted to write out, the full scenes that I had planned.
