Hello everyone! It's been quite a while.

So, quick announcement: updates are coming across the board. The plan is to start updating regularly again, once or twice a month at the very least.

With that out of the way…

After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to launch a Patre0n (had to stylize it like that to get around the FFNET 'delete' algorithm) for my fanfiction works. Now, don't panic; this does not mean that my works will become pay-to-read fanfiction. The last thing I would do is to keep my stories behind a paywall. I'm not looking for an incentive to keep updating, either; I'll continue updating my stories regardless of subscriptions, and I'll do my very best to adhere to the goal stated above.

Think of it as a glorified tip jar, as it has been eloquently described somewhere else online—a place where you can support me as I endeavor to continue weaving worlds together through my crossover series.

The plan is to launch it concurrently with my next batch of updates, which will be before the end of the month, with the lowest subscription tier at $1 USD. If you feel like offering a little financial support aside from the moral support of reviews/comments/kudos/etc., it'll be much appreciated. If not, don't worry; I'm already grateful enough for the time you're taking to read my stories.

A/N: And there it is, the Prologue of the sequel for TFRR. It is short, I know, but I just wanted to set the groundwork for now and let you know what I have planned for this sequel.

Before that, however, I do want to publicly apologize for any and all inconsistencies/plot holes I may have incurred in TFRR. Yes, I admit there were many things that didn’t really make sense. Yes, for the most part, I downplayed Forerunner tech and the UNSC as a whole in favor of the SG faction. I’m guilty as charged on all accounts, and I certainly hope to be able to make up for that in the sequel.

That being said, don’t expect the sequel to follow the events of Halo 5: Guardians too closely. As a matter of fact, and even though the Prologue is set at the very beginning of H5:G, more than half of the story itself will cover several prior months leading up to that point.

I have a slightly more in-depth (read: rather spoiler-y) ‘Sequel Summary’ ready for all of you, regarding what should be expected of this sequel story-wise. I also have a more-or-less lengthy explanation as to why updates will be rolling out slowly (PLEASE DON’T KILL ME). I don’t want to leave any of that here, though. If you’re interested in reading about it, check out the latest ‘chapter’ in TFRR at FF[.]net, titled “Anniversary Treat: Sneak Peek & News”, which I uploaded last week.

For those of you who prefer to avoid spoilers and wait until the next chapter of the sequel is out: don’t worry, I understand. Still, please, don’t forget to review on your way out! ;D
