Chapter Text
You jumped out of the jet, much to the dismay of the others, to follow the two demigods as they landed in a rocky forest. Landing on the side of a cliff, you grabbed into a ledge to keep you steady, and watched Thor shout and scold the younger man. You listened intently until Iron Man flew into Thor, crashing them into a clearing not to far below. At that point, you dropped from your perch and deftly landed next to Loki as he watched the two fight.
"Buffoons, the both of them." He smirked, turning to leave only to freeze in his tracks as your clawed hand gripped his shoulder.
"I agree, so why don't you stick around and watch the fight with me." You say, voice smooth and threatening as you watch the two squabble.
"If you insist." He sighed, sitting down on the ground, grumbling about barbarians and idiots. You chuckle, watching as Captain America joined the fray. "I see some things never change." You smirk.
"And what, pray tell, would that be?" He asked, looking to you.
"Humans and their refusal to back down from a fight. Their stubbornness, resilience and tenacity. The fact that they are fighting a god changes nothing in their mind, only that they cannot hold back. " You muse, watching the fight end, "Well, now that that's settled, let's get you back to the je-" as you tried to finish your sentence, a heavy weight slammed into your chest, pinning you to the jagged rock wall with a harsh thud.
"Grim!" Steve yelled, the three men running up to you as Thor's hammer pressed you into the wall, sharp stones driving themselves into your back.
"What are you doing here, beast!?" Thor shouted at you, pushing the hammer farther into your chest, the low rumbling of a growl your only response.
"Let her go Point Break, she's on our team!" Tony yelled.
"I-I was watching your brother, while you three bickered." You coughed, wincing. " He would have run off if it weren't for me." You gasped, grasping your chest as Thor let you go, stumbling away from the now bloody wall.
"Christ, you're bleeding kid." Steve worried, checking your shredded back.
"I'm fine." You grumbled, sending a glare in Thor's direction, "I've had worse, trust me. This is nothing. Let's just head back, I'm starting to get hungry." With that, you headed back towards the jet, leaving the four men behind.
"I think I'd rather walk after that statement." Loki, murmured.
"Yeah? And why's that?" Tony asked, grabbing him by the shoulder and pushing him towards the jet.
"Do any of you know what she is?" He whipped around, "She could kill us all should she act on her hunger."
"Calm down, please you sound like she'll eat you." Steve replied, walking ahead of them, and up the ramp to see you sucking on a blood bag like a caprice sun, "And you're acting like I won't." You remarked, letting go of the now empty bag as Steve stood there wide eyed. "Relax, I have no plans on eating anyone here." You sighed, leaning back against the wall, closing your eyes as the others clambered onto the jet. Thor sat Loki as far away from you as he could in the tight enclosure, glaring at your form.
You cracked open an eye after the first few minutes of his glare, "You gonna blink anytime soon, Thor? I've already told you I have no plans to bite anyone here, including your brother, now chill out, your angry heartbeat is giving me a headache." You gripe, leaning forwards and resting your arms on your knees, his heartbeat thumping wildly in your ears .
"I don't trust you, beast-" Thor tried to retort,
"That is not my name, it's Grim." You interrupt, standing, the sudden movement, bringing everyone's hearts to a race in your ears, "If you can't seem to get that through your thick skull, then don't speak of me or to me. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm heading up front, all of your rapid heartbeats are giving me a migraine." You turned your now healed back to then, opening the door to the cockpit where Natasha sat, and left the men to their thoughts.
"Well that went well." Tony clapped, looking to Thor, "What's up with you and Count Dracula?"
"Yeah, and what's with her? We came in to see her drinking from a blood bag like a juicebox." Steve asked, picking up the discarded plastic.
"They didn't tell you did they?" Loki smirked, drawing their attention, "That is Lady Grim, also known as the Grim Reaper's Mistress. She's a vampire Thor and his bumbling idiots defeated over 4 hundred years ago after she went on a murderous rampage, tearing a bloody path through Ireland." He explained, a smirk ever present on his face.
"Yes, we were told of it and were sent down to stop her. She was beyond reason and attacked us, biting Loki in the process. She is a dangerous woman should she be left alone to her hunger, and I have very little trust in her will to fight it. Not to mention she may not be too fond of me either. " Thor spat, glaring at the door you had gone through.
"Hey, how about you cut her some slack?" Steve butt in, "She's been in a coma for four hundred years, I'm sure if she's gonna hold a grudge for that long, she would have jumped you before Stark did."
"I suppose you're right, maybe I was a bit harsh." Thor mused, "I shall apologize when we reach our destination." He decided, leaning back in his seat, the others doing the same as they waited for the jet to finally land.
