Lying on the sofa while Phil, May and Daisy watch TV, May suddenly contorts her face.
"Are you okay honey?"
"The baby kicked, it was more uncomfortable than usual."
"Do you want me to get Simmons? " Daisy asked.
"New it's going badly. Ahhhh " She screamed and doubled over in pain. "May I'm going to call Simmons now I think that's the contractions."
"Okay."
"Melinda I'm holding you, don't worry"
Phil took her in his arms and gently put his arms around her petite form which was now rapidly being covered by an excellent baby bump.
"May we have to go to the hospital" "No."
She was sweating extremely.
And could only hear in a blur.
"Phil I'm scared"
"It's gonna be okay, honey, we're gonna fix it, but we have to see the doctors."
"I don't want to please, I want to stay home."
"Okay, Daisy, we're going to need some help." Daisy could see the pain in may as well as Coulson's care for his Melinda.
"I love you it's going to be ok" Phil whispered in her ear.
"...in to the Bed...i want"
"Okay, I'll take you there."
"No, Simmons said that wasn't such a good idea." Daisy finished talking on the phone. Suddenly Melinda doubled over again.
"Hey hey what's up sweetie?"
"I think. My water broke, Coulson." After some time the baby kicks again and As if on cue it sounded on the door.
"Daisy where is she?"
"May." She grabbed her forehead and felt for a pulse.
"Agent may can you hear me?" She nods weakly and slightly absently. "She doesn't want to go to a hospital Simmons what now?"
"Then this is going to be a home birth."
"Ahhhh..phil..ahh" He reached for her hand and squeezed it. "I'm here... Do you hear me and I'm not leaving you either."
"Agent may..."
"Jemm stop calling me agent may ,.... Melinda..."
"Melinda ! I'm going to give them... you painkillers now okay ?"
"No!" Coulson commented. While may shook her head.
"I love you phil" In reply he stroked her hand.
"Why not ? '' Asked Jemma
"Painkillers don't do her any good, she gets woozy."
"But..." "No buts."
"I can handle pain, I've had to...ahh...often.... Enough Jemma." "Only on this occasion it wouldn't be necessary but good."
8 hours later
May was lying on the sofa, totally weak and sweaty. Her water had broken but nothing was happening. "Phillll..." She whimpered "I can't take it anymore."
"You are so strong Melinda" He gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"You can do this my darling, it will be worth it for us and our little one." Jemma came back from a phone call and she couldn't help but enjoy that look, Coulson and May him holding her hand and resting his head against hers. And daisy who was sitting right next to her and had fallen asleep.
"hey melinda i just got off the phone with specialty they are good colleagues and they have an outpatient team should they come over ?"
She looked at phil a little scared. But he nodded and kissed her again on the forehead.
1 hour later
"So... " Said one of the outpatient team
"We have to operate that baby is in an awkward position miss." Tears ran down May's cheek.
"I'm scared Phil."
"I trust everything will be all right."
"Press again Miss May"
"Coulson"
"What?"
"What?" Even Daisy woke up
"Miss Coulson, we are married." Daisy and everyone present dropped their jaws.
"You have to push Miss Coulson." "AHHHHHHHHH" She almost broke Coulson's hand squeezing and that thing. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
2 hours later, May held her little likeness in her arms.
Coulson was more in love than ever before.
Daisy was making high-pitched sounds all the time, so overjoyed.
She stroked the soft baby pink cheek.
"Evie rosee melina" May whispered "What?"
Everybody looked to them. "Evangeline"
Coulson said "Evie for short."
