Chapter Text
Hawks finally got Dabi to trust him enough for the fire villain bringing him to the League’s new headquarters. However, the League was not the League of Villains anymore; they were now called Paranormal Liberation Front and they are now over ten thousand people, including some pro heroes. That sacred Hawks a lot.
“Oh, I need to give you a warning before going any further.” says Dabi.
A warning? Seriously? Hawks thought it was bad enough that more than ten thousand people had the same thoughts as the League. What else could be bad enough for Dabi, all the people, to give him a warning?
“You see, a few months ago, this crazy bitch had joined our group without any warning or our consent; she just invited herself in. She sometimes annoys me and Shigaraki a lot, almost driving us both crazy. Our fair leader even tried to use his quirk on her, but to our shock, the quirk had no effect on her.”
Hawks pauses; what? He knows, except for Lucina’s sword, Shigaraki’s quirk can disintegrate anything he touches. And he finds out that Shigaraki’s quirk evolved in the Jaku City’s incident. Is there anyone who is immune to Shigaraki’s quirk?
“DABIIIII!!” shouted a female voice.
Hawks was startled when a tall woman with dark hair and gothic clothes appeared out of nowhere and higs Dabi. Dabi’s face was buried into the woman’s large bust.
“Dabi, I missed you!” Says the woman, happily. She even squeezes him harder in the hug.
“You… Crazy … Bitch! Let ...me… GO!”
Dabi ignited his blue flames on her. To Hawks’ shock, nothing happens to her, except her clothes turning into ashes in an instant.
“You’re no funny, Dabs.” Says the woman, letting him go. “You can't take a little joke.”
With a snap of her fingers, the woman is dressed again, this time, she is wearing a black dress. Is she dressing like a gothic lolita? And how the hell is she even alive after Dabi used his blue flames directly on her?!
“You know I don’t like to be touched, Crazy Bitch.” growls Dabi. “And don't call me Dabs!”
Hawks could see Dabi was seriously wanting to hurt her. But the woman was not amazed. Hawks was wondering if she was crazy or she simply did not have any sense of danger.
“Don’t forget this Crazy Bitch here is healing your delicate skin, Dabs.” says the woman, smirking, folding her arms.
“Wait, what?” says Hawks, totally confused “Is she healing your skin?”
Then, the woman finally saw that Hawks was there all the time.
“Oh, hello Hawks, since when were you here?” She asks in confusion.
“Seriously? I was there all the time! Just now you've only noticed my presence?!” Asks Hawks in shock.
“I don’t pay attention or acknowledge people who are not my type.” she simply said to him like Hawks was not a big deal to her.
Hawks looks at Dabi as if he is asking if she is really serious. Dabi just confirms she’s always like that. She just does whatever she wants to do. Then the woman asks Dabi to show his arm to him. Dabi sighs very tired and annoyed while pulling his sleeve up. Hawks gasps in pure astonishment when he sees his right arm has normal skin.
“What?! It is impossible!” Exclaimed Hawks while examining Dabi’s arm. “No healing quirk can do such a thing!”
He knew Dabi’s scars were caused by his flames and healing such damage was impossible. No healing quirk, not even Recovery Girl’s, had the power to fix such damage like Dabi’s burns.
“But I can do it!” Says the woman in a sing a song voice. “Nothing is impossible to me. I am the powerful, amazing and beautiful Hakate Majika!
The woman, Hakate, made a pose while introducing herself to him. Hawks only had a deadpan face expression while Dabi looked even more annoyed.
“You do not look impressioned, do you?” Hakate mutters in disappointment.
“Er… I’ve seen better poses.” says Hawks a bit embarrassed.
Hakate seemed a little upset that her presentation was not the best one.
“Come on! I’ve watched all the super sentai and kamen rider shows to come up with my own presentation pose!” Hakate whines, annoyed. “ You should at least be impressed!”
And Dabi looked like a volcano that was about to explode, splitting lava everywhere. Hawks wisely stepped a bit away from him.
“No one watch those stupid shows, exept old people and nerds!” Dabi shouts angrily. “Don’t you have better things to do than annoying me?!”
“But annoying you is so fun!” Hakate smiles happily.
Hawks didn't think the same; annoying someone like Dabi is like doing a suicide stunt. Was she this crazy? Dabi had to take deep breaths to cool himself off, muttering she couldn't be killed and she was the one who was healing his skin over and over again. Hawks was not sure what to think about the scene he just witnessed; it was too bizarre, even for the League's level.
“Oh, by the way Dabs, Re-Destro and the others are waiting for you at the conference room. Don’t forget your lieutenant duties. And don't forget to come to my office for our healing season!”
“Yeah, yeah, while I do my lieutenant duties, just play with Hawks here. He can be as annoying as you are.”
Hawks did not like this; is Dabi seriously about leaving him with a crazy lady? Before Hawks could protest, Dabi already left.
“Now that we’re alone, let’s talk, Takami Keigo.” says Hakate, changing the tune of her voice.
Hawks is shocked; How did she know his real name? His name is not in the public records. Then, Hawks feels deep chills in his body. When he looks at Hakate, he doesn’t see a crazy woman, he sees behind her a giant shadow creature with glowing red eyes. Hawks never felt such fear before. He was scared, very scared. He couldn’t even move or talk. He was terrified.
“I know why you’re here and what you’re planning to do. You’re such a good pet bird to HPSC. You may fool most people here, but you do not fool me.” says Hakate with a soft but full of malicia voice.
Hawks gasps in horror when he notices shadow tentacles were warping around his body, leaving him completely still.
“Don’t worry, I will not snitch you. Do what you need to do.”
“Why?” Hawks finally found his voice. But he was shivering in pure fear.
“Because I like chaos. Chaos is my ententiment.” Says, Hakate, smiling. “ I know big things will happen soon in the future thanks to my clairvoyance. But there are two things I want to be clear with you; one- don’t tell Princess Lucina my whereabouts. I don’t want to ruin the surprise. If you do…”
Hakate draws a circle in Hawks’ chest. Hawks can’t breath; it is like someone or something is choking him. He falls to his knees when her tentacles unwarped him. He looks at Hakate with fear and anger in his eyes.
“What..What did you do?!” he asks angrily
“I just put a cursed seal on you. The seal will know when you try to tell someone about me or my whereabouts.” Explains Hakate. “ It doesn't matter if you do coded message, the seal will know when you’re talking about me. Even if you try, the seal will stop your heart in the moment you do. And no healing quirk or technology will bring you back, unless the Doctor decides to make your body into one of his noumu.”
Hawks is he is scared, very scared. And she has not finished with him yet.
“However, the seal will not work with the things involved with the Paranormal Liberation Front.” Hakate kneels in front of Hawks, looking directly at his eyes. “You may send your coded message about the Paranormal Liberation Front to your idol, Endeavor. But I suggest you do not get too close to him. Idols usually disappoint their fans very much, especially with their dirty past. Endeavor is no different.”
“What are you even talking about?” Hawks growls.
“I will give you no spoilers. The crash between the two groups will be very chaotic and I will be there to watch. Especially when Endeavor’s past will bite him very hard in the crash, just like how hippopotamus bite people in Africa; it’s not going to be pretty. And there’s where I have my second thing about this chaos that will happen in a few months; leave Twice alone.” Says Hatake couldly. Hawks shivers in fear. “In my vision, you will go after Twice because you consider him one of the most dangerous members in the group. You will take advantage of him because of his naivety, however of the love he has for his friends who he considers his family, he will fight you back and you will kill him because of this. Twice is like me; we both are poor creatures that none understand us, expect for our closest friends. If you dare to use him to gain information and hurt him, I will show what will happen to you.”
Hawks gasps in horror when images come to his mind. He sees himself in pain, with his body totally deformed; he is something like a blob. He became covered in light yellowish fur. On the ends of what is left of his arms were long sharp claws. She has two tiny wings like ears protruding at odd angles from his head. His mouth split upwards and was left hanging open at all times and both his eyes bulged outwards. However all he can feel is pain, intolerable pain. He gasps when he realizes he has returned back to reality. He even checks his body. He is normal and has no pain.
“I know you heroes are ready to sacrifice your lives for the greatest good, but is it worth having a lifetime of pure suffering and pain for such a thing?” Hakate asks. “There are things worse than death, Takami Keigo. The vision I just showed you is what is going to happen to you if you dare to use Twice, Himiko and Mange for your own objectives. You will wish for death and that will not be granted to you so easily, Takami Keigo. Not even Falchion can free you from such torment. As long as you do not use them, you’re safe from this fate. Are we clear?”
Hawks could not move, he was terrified. The woman, Hakate, was not human. She was a monster. A very terrifying monster. She may be the worst thing the Paranormal Liberation Front has. He was so terrefied he did not notice he peeped in his pants.
“Hakate-chan!” Himiko calls her.
Hakate and Hawks could see Toga Himiko, Twice and Magne standing there. Himiko was waving to her.
“I got a new deck of cards! Let's play Go Fish!” Says Himiko
“It will be fun!” Says twice “ I will crush your butt!!”
“I’m coming!!” says Hakate, happily. She returns to her happy persona. Then, she turns back to Hawks and whispers in his ear “Remember our deal, little bird.”
With that, Hakate got up and ran to her friends. Mange mentioned she looked good as a gothic lolita and Hakate thanked her for the praise. She even mentioned she can do some new clothes for them. Everybody was happy.
When they were not in his sight, Hawks could finally breathe. She was a monster, she may be worse than All For One ever was and somehow Lucina knew her. And worse, he had no way on how to warn anybody. For the first time, Hawks had his regrets.
The End.
